To start with, the person behind the desk was like a prison door. She clearly had no interest in being there and providing a good customer service experience, Secondly, I was clearly given a van that had a nail in one of its tires.I didn't notice it when I picked it up unfortunately. Of course, the tire burst once I hit the road. When I finally managed to get a hold of RoadSide Assistance, it took close to 4 hours for them to send someone to change the tire. This is not even close to decent service. This is appalling service. I will never rent a Uhaul van again. I never even got a call apologizing for the wait or anything. Unbelievable...Florence R.

Hard to get into the driveway, the trucks are parked so close to each other that it's impossible to walk around and examine the vehicles and I had to have the lot guy drive it out. The truck had lots of visible damage, the counter staff was not courteous, the truck I ordered wasn't available and they gave me a bigger one, which I didn't want one that big (too hard to maneuver).Lisa D.

Do not tell customers they are responsible for finding their own dolly's at other UHaul locations. This should be the responsibility of the business, not the customer. The website for returning the truck after hours also didn't work, resulting in two hours of hold time on the phone to confirm the return so I wouldn't get charged extra. UHaul customer service kept putting me on hold and passing me around to several departments on multiple occasions. I will NEVER use UHaul again and I will NEVER recommend it to anyone.Michael T.

I reserved a trailer and 2 of your movers. When I arrived, I was told that a trailer was not available and I would have to drive 2 hours to pick up one. I was told that I could upgrade to a truck and pay the higher price. Because I had 2 movers waiting, I felt that I had no choice but to upgrade. I am very disappointed in your customer service and was never contacted prior to my arrival. I will never use this U-Haul business again. This experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. Ensure all the marker lights are in working order, I had a couple out. The left roll away fender was dented and kinda hard to close up. Other wise I love these trailers, they pull real well for my 58' Apache. UHaul is my go to trailer rental every year when I go to Hot August Nights in Reno, has been since 2012...RICHARD S.

That was the worst box truck I've ever rented. It had clearly been in a nasty accident as neither door shut properly and the air bag had been poorly replaced after deployment. The alignment was off and the steering had about 30 degrees of play before anything happened. It felt dangerous drive.ROBIN P.

The person who set the initial order, forgot to ask if I wanted insurance and to indicate where I wanted to drop it off, I thought we had done that; she was actually helping me, because I was having difficulty with the online site, so bottom line, the guy that helped me at King's Tires, when I picked up the trailer, was in a rotten mood, and I thought those two issues were already handled, so he just got madder and madder. Customer service is rude at this location. The rental we had reserved was not at our original pick up location because the previous person did not return on time. Had to drive 2hrs away to pick up from another location, which we had to pay the additional mileage for. What should have cost 120 $ended up being nearly 300 $because of the extra miles we had to drive to pick up and drop off. Never again. Horrible service and extremely unreliableJennifer H.

The location was nice and very convenient. The woman that helped us was polite and professional. I don't understand how the system works but we were scheduled to get a 17' truck. We were called a couple of days ahead of time letting us know that the truck we were scheduled to rent was unavailable but we had the option of a 10' truck. We were also supposed to be able to keep the truck for 2 days. We never heard back regarding the 17' truck and when we arrived to pickup the 10' truck we were told that we could only have it for one day. There is your feedback. The woman at the front desk who from what I gather is the daughter of the owner and works there full time, is INSANELY rude and unprofessional. I had heard about her through a few other friends who had rented a uhaul at this location and everything they said was true. Each time I spoke to her on the phone as well as in person she was condescending and extremely unpleasant. She works fast at the expense of good customer service skills. Literally will never rent a uhaul from here ever again and will not recommend it to any friends or family. No effort was made to clean the interiors of the vehicle. Not a good thing during COVID, or any other time. I cleaned it myself. The gas gauge was half full but my paperwork showed it was full. I brought it to the attendant's attention and I was told I needed to dispute it online! I disputed it online and submitted a photo as required. I thought all was good. I gassed up to half full and returned the pickup after hours as instructed. I received my invoice by email the next day and was charged for not filling up the tank. I wasted a trip back to dispute the charges in person. The attendant was rude when I questioned the 33 $surcharge and presented my photo proof. I got my refund but I will use a different location next time I need a pickup truck.ERNESTO O.

My primary complaint was that there were no blankets available to rent. If there's one item that need to be stocked at a place like UHaul it's cardboard boxes and blankets. I got by with cut up cardboard and tape for all my furniture's corners and protruding elements and this was a real pain that could have been avoided with blankets (which were on my online order). Second, the van looked like it had just returned from a week at Burning Man, the exterior was really filthy and the windows were dirty as well so you ended up with poor visibility when the sun was shining and instantly dirty clothes and hands each time you touched the outside of the van.PIERRE P.

When you reserve it tells you the price of rental plus how much per mile you are paying but it never informs you you will also be refilling the gas you use (this should be indicated in the price information when reserving to inform your customers for budgeting purposes.) The customer service was HORRIBLE!!! I asked questions about things that they should have told me without asking and their attitude about answering was terrible. One was on a personal phone call and so annoyed they had to help the other newer employee assisting me. The truck had a problem starting with the key and no one was willing to assist me in learning the trick to starting it. I had a very difficult time starting it- this truck needs to be repaired. No one informed us they wouldn't be open at our drop off time and, when I asked, they were rude and did not ultimately provide me with the necessary information to drop it off at the end of the day which left us needing to make assumptions on how to park it (no parking places), where to put the key, and how to â€œcheck out.â€ So frustrating in a stress full time of moving.AMY M.

Returning the truck after hours was abysmal. No where did the instructions state that I should use the Uhaul App to perform the return. Instead, I used the link texted to me which failed bc it didn't recognize my location, even after allowing location services for n my iPhone and through the Uhaul website on Safari. Terrible instructions and the customer service and phone number required a 30 minute wait. My son suggested using the Uhaul App to do the return, which worked. Terrible experience.CHRISTOPHER P.

We wanted to rent the truck for 8 hours, but the contract said 6. I asked and was told it was not a problem. Later we viewed the printed contract and it said 8 hours. We returned the truck after about 6,5 hours for no extra charge. Some glitch with the computer signup site.FRANCIS H.
