I was over charged I moved from 45th and Kipling to 51st and Kipling and the drop off is at Sinclair on 49th and Kipling all within one mile we did 2 trips back & forth and they are charging me 3045 when we left n 3097 when we dropped it off the man was busy so we never checked what it was we figured we didn't drive far at all and got charged for 57 miles ?? No way in he'll did we drive that far no one will respond and I'm passed I could payed someone all that money to help me n uhaul was cheaper but I got ripped offSEAN M.
The first truck was a hazard to drive -front tire almost flat was told to drive it anyway could hardly keep the truck on the road- shouldn't have been charged!LISA S.

After I got a huge runaround and a wrong address from the W Jewell UHaul Store, the kindest man in the world at 4901 Kipling had me moving with a fixed light in about 10 minutes. Moving is stressful enough to have a reservation, confirmed once we were there..... go wrong. The Jewell office is sadly underemployed. The person there tried to be helpful.Carolyn L.
We had scheduled pick-up at 1pm. We called at noon and were told it would not be ready until 2pm. We did not get a truck until 3:30 and it was a 20' rather than 26'. We paid for 2 days. On Sat evening we got a check engine light and I could not get anyone to answer at the location (I tried until 8:30am). We dropped the truck back off and reported the check engine light but the man there seemed confused that we were "checking in" the truck. I did not clarify as I was tired of the entire experience.Brian B.

The guy working here gave no instructions or printed material. Didn't discuss gas's gauge whatsoever and gas was below half. Also the car was dirty. Crumbs and trash in the cup holder including a used dental flosser. Which I took a picture of.Amy D.

I will do everything in my power to avoid using Uhaul again. Provide the equipment that is original reserved, when it is reserved. When that can't be honored do not continually change the reservation details while lying to the guest about the details. Then on the day of no key is present when the truck should be picked up and a measly 50 $is reduced from the bill, which simply got the guest back to the originally agreed upon price.matthew H.

While I was pleased with this specific location my overall experience was awful. I initially reserved 3 separate pieces of equipment. Days before my out of state move I got a call saying that 1 piece of equipment would require a 4 hour round trip on my end. I asked to reserve a bigger truck as a replacement. The representative was less than helpful and pretty rude. Then my reserved price for my 3rd piece of equipment was not honored. I had to make additional, costly arrangements at the last minute. Then the window to my uhaul truck exploded as I was driving down the interstate. I am so displeased with uhaul. My experience was a constant juggling act and was very stressful. I will go out of my way to avoid using Uhaul for any future moves.Jessica C.

I booked the vehicle for 7:30 am. The store didn't open until 8 am. I had to wait until 8 to get the keys. This put me behind on my pickups. There was also a 7 am booking option. This would have meant an hour wait.SCOTT G.

Attendant had to call police because of a disruptive customer, while trying help me with my rental. My daughter and I had to talk to police and give description of malicious customer. The attendant had too much going on to help us well and had trouble finding keys for locked truck....I got charged 20 $more than I should have and it was a difficult transaction!Lisa V.

The gas station attendant was great, except he was the only person there, which meant he could not help us attach the trailer, which I was a little worried about doing it myself to the 20' UHaul. But it all worked out fine. He may need help in the future for UHaul customers.Kim C.

Vehicle check in issues with uhaul.com Your app couldn't get a gps location from Chrome browser on my Samsung Galaxy Note8. It DID work with the phone's built in browser. Took me some time troubleshooting to figure that out. Write more code, support chrome on android please!Christopher W.

I reached out about the unsafe conditions that I rented this vehicle under. There were 2 men sleeping in the vehicle upon pickup, and the vehicle was filthy. I submitted a complaint but never heard back, and on top of that was charged more than double my quote today. We were disappointed in U-Haul because after confirming our reservation 4 days in-advance, we were then contacted via text less than 24 hours before we were scheduled to pick up the truck informing us that there was â€œtrouble completing the reservation.â€ After waiting on hold and being transferred from one person to the next so that someone could figure out why I was calling the number the text told me to call, I was given no other option but to accept a smaller truck at a location 25 minutes away from where we were moving from. I don't understand the purpose of making a reservation if not for assurance that it will be fulfilled as stated in the numerous email confirmations I received between making the reservation and being called to tell me it was no longer valid. On top of this unprofessional inconvenience, I was called in the middle of the afternoon on the day we had the truck (while busy moving, as you can imagine) so that someone could discuss our drop-off location. I expected this representative to tell me there had been some change with that as well, but instead they were just confirming the location we already had in written, text, and verbal form. I did not think that call was necessary at all and it felt excessive. Perhaps the people making those phone calls could be utilized to drive the trucks to the locations where people have reserved pick-up? Then when we went to drop our truck off, the website was unable to detect our location regardless of our repeated attempts and after confirming location was set to ON on both of our phones. I am still waiting to hear back about whether or not we were charged the â€œconvenience feeâ€ for having someone else check it in the next morning since our automated version was ineffective. Next time I might just rent from Enterprise. They can be more expensive, but at least they are straightforward and reliable.Fred R.
