It wasn't in the best part of Dallas, but the gentleman that helped was great in helping me getting the trailer hooked up to my car. I think it was the only trailer available in Dallas or Austin.

Location is in a more industrial area, so not a lot of people around but high traffic on the main street it faces. It's a car detail shop with a U-Haul business attached. When I arrived and tried to enter through the front door, a the door was locked and a gentleman inside motioned for me to enter through the garage. I walked through the garage and into the room where the checkout desk is located, and the same man said "not in here -- talk to that guy," pointing at a man cleaning a car and chatting with a friend. I waited about (outside) five minutes until he was done cleaning the car until he approached me. I showed him my app and that keys should be waiting for me, and he ran inside to get them and just handed them over with no instructions. The truck was pretty dirty, but I didn't have the energy to deal with that at the time. Also the drivers side door didn't shut all the way. Later, I would learn that the passenger side door didn't open from the outside, requiring the driver to go back to the truck to open the door from the inside handle. Once the truck was loaded and I was driving, I noticed that the suspension was absolutely terrible. Everything was bouncing and sliding around. I've rented dozens of U-Haul's before, and this one had the worse suspension I've experienced. Overall, I'd say most of the problems experienced were due to lack of care to the vehicle and lack of professionalism at the rental place. I would never recommend this location to a friend.

no one there. no blankets as ordered. remote checkout is a real pain so be prepared with a fully charged phone as UHaul states on their website.

The truck had obviously not been cleaned and when we opened the back at our home, it was filled with broken glass from a picture frame. The whole truck wreaked of smoke also. The location itself was very strange as well. It wasn't even recognizable as a Uhaul store and the front shop was closed.

The gentleman who helped me was very polite and professional. The truck, however was dirty and had an unknown odor. Also, the windshield was very dirty and there was not any window washer fluid to wash it with. On another note, the after-hours drop off process was not easy to use and long.

Turned in and told me I would get a receipt later when he checked in. I left and knew I should have waited but I was late for something. Got a receipt later and hit with $25 cleaning fee. There was nothing wrong with truck other than I may have left a bottle water in truck. Pretty sure it was a revenue opportunity

Truck had bugs everywhere in the back. The neighborhood was in the worst part of town. Also the movers your website recommended left me half way through the job. Worst moving experience EVER!

This was way out of my way to take back. It took me over the mileage . I passed 3 to 4 places to drop off and when I called another one closer to me. They said you all charge 700. which I think is dumb as hell. It used the gas as well. I didnt want to have no more gas than I left with.

Provide the order the customer requested. I ask for 1/2 dozen furniture pads and a furniture dolly upon inspecting the truck the equipment wasn't in there. So I shouldn't see those items on my receipt but they were. Please adjust those charges I would appreciate it.

Area seems unsafe no lights no parking illegal activity in back parking lot. Will not return to this location again for any service. Your app should notify the customer if the drop off location also accepts rented trailers.

Double check your orders, make sure all supplies a customer orders is there!! Moving is already stressful, when you don't have the things you need but you ordered it makes things twice as hard. And communication!!! If you leave your location let someone know ASAP! You have customers relying on you.

I rented a U-Haul truck from this location on 11/19/20 for 3 hours to move a set of couches. The location charged me for 98 miles when I only drove 11 I rented a U-Haul truck from this location on 11/19/2020. When I arrived there were already red flags. The location was filthy and employee could not figure out how to work the rental software and took a very long time to figure it out. Even though my reservation included furniture dollies the employee told me that they do not have any. I considered cancelling my reservation then but it was by far the closest location to my home and I was already there so I decided to continue. That was a big mistake. I had the vehicle for 3 hours to move two couches from down the street at a friends house to my house. In total I drive 11 miles. When I returned to the location at 5:45 to return the truck the location was closed and the lights were off even though the sign said they were open until 6pm. I had no choice but to use the drop box for keys to return the vehicle. When I received the bill stating that I had driven 98 miles I called the location immediately. I explained that was not possible and let them know I had proof of where I was in the vehicle for every minute I had it. The employee told me they didn't know how to fix that kind of issue there and I would have to call the corporate number. I called that and explained the situation again. They told me I should have been sent a walkthrough before renting the truck to confirm the miles. I tried to explain the poor service at the location and that I was not told this by the location. The rep informed me that this would need to be escalated to a Manager who would be in contact by phone within 3 business days. This did not happen. Instead I revived an email reading, "We send you a link to verify the fuel and miles along with the condition of the equipment you did not do your walk around before you left with the equipment. I will follow up with the location to see if there was an error." with no signature or other text in the email. I let him know that none of that was explained to me, that I was very unsatisfied with this, and that would have to speak with my credit card company since if was unable to assist me. .He did not respond

Pickup location was closed when I arrived at my appointment time of 10:30 a.m. Another tenant in the same building had to call the U-Haul operator to get them to open. This delayed me by a full hour despite checking in online. They were friendly & apologetic though, so I'll give credit there.

I should've taken a picture but when I got my final bill they had the gas gauge at a quarter tank indicating that I had used 3/4 of a tank. In fact when I returned the van the gas gauge read that there was 3/4 of a tank left because I only used a quarter of a tank of gas.
