Horrible service , uhaul website barley worked , wouldn't give me actual charges , returned vehicle a few hours after rented didn't get any money back and was charged another 1,43 $ for I don't know why! I rent often and this is such bad service and overcharging people without notice is very unprofessional and shady to be polite! The uhaul locate said they don't deal with charges call uhaul ðŸ¤·ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸ They check them out and in don't they?WALLY S.

Truck was dirty In cab and back-end. The seals for both doors were coming off immediately after leaving the parking lot. Very quick service getting out of the place. Expensive. What I see on my bill is jacked up. 2 days 260,00 $. I have 4 other same u-Hauls I rented for same amount of time for 180 $- 200 $. Nice people but it's a Rip off.KOREY M.

First of all, when I made the reservation I chose a location that was closer to my home. I also opted for Mobile pick up. On my way to pick up the truck I looked at the app & discovered my pick up location was changed. When I arrived at the pick up location chosen for me I discovered mobile pick up was unavailable. Why offer a customer to choose a convenient location & pick up method then just change it without notifying them.? This is unacceptable customer service. Next time I will go to Home Depot & rent their equipment. I also did not appreciate not being able to get a receipt and being rudely told to wait for an electronic one to be emailed to me.mary L.

When calling this place which was supposed to be my formal drop location they told me if I drop off they would charge me 300 $! For an error that was not my fault. They told me I had to go to Gary IN which was too far from literally down the street. They completely where of no help. Worst experience. I had to call U-Haul customer service to be approved to drop off there. Which should have never happened because I authorized no changes for this!! I already had to pick up from another location which was even further for me. It was a complete mess with pick up and drop off. I cannot believe the way I was treated from uhaul. 0/10 for my experience!! Neither store was of help for me!madison S.

Kind of a pain, the location said to drop off at the ace hardware location.. I pulled into the parking lot, and went inside to tell the people I need to return it.. I ended up have to go across the street into some church parking lot which is not the address listed.. glad I didn't drop the trailer first before going inside to tell them, because if I had, I would NOT have moved it to the unlisted address...kyle W.

Equipment (Appliance dolly) needed was not available. Truck was given to me not completely cleaned. It smelled HORRIBLE on the inside. Previous renter must of had a dog in the truck, it was a repulsive dog smell to the point of gagging. Had to drive with windows completely down. Furthermore, there truck was completely covered in dog hair- cup holders lined in dog hair picked up drink to be covered in hair. I mentioned this to employee and he stated the truck was much worse that the windows had been cleaned because they were covered in dog saliva. Windshield still had it on it. Seriously My thought was someone had sheltered a dog in this vehicle. Very dissatisfied.Stacy C.
When you reserve a location to pick up at a certain location it would be helpful to keep that location and not changed to another. I understand the equipment changes locations but don't set it up for the location if it isn't available there.CLINTON K.

The customer service could be improved. Even though we had a reservation and checked in ahead of time, we were told to wait until the 3 ppl "ahead" of us were served, the facility opened late, did not have supplies and the counter staff was rude.Maya P.

I rented the U-Haul I told them I was picking up a refrigerator and I needed a appliance dolly to go with it. they asked me what kind of Dolly I needed after I told him what kind of Dolly I needed then I get to the place to get my items there's no ramp on the truck there's no tie straps in the truck so needless to say we had a real good time trying to get a refrigerator up in the back of that U-Haul with the dolly and no ramp got caught on tow ball on the back of the truck had to lay the refrigerator down. A definitely do not recommend going to rent a U-Haul from the place in lake station on Central. Top it off they were very rude and very slow I had to ask for a receipt and it took him 15 minutes to get me a receipt when I took the U-Haul backkelly B.

First of all not one of the workers had a mask on. The person who was present (Greg) was rude and very disrespectful! This is the worst U-Haul experience I have ever had in 64 years of my life. I will not use this location again and moving further U-Haul will be my last choice.James B.
Very friendly and accommodating! The only thing I would suggest is that something be clear on the website that moving help is available. Our rental manager mentioned it but it was too late for us. it would have been great to book helpers along with the truck.Kerry S.
