I returned the U-Haul with more gas than what it had, and they said I returned it with only 1/8 of a tank and charged me 70$ for fuel.

ROBERT H.I called and made my reservation at a location near me. However, 2 days before my rental, I received an email telling me the equipment I rented is in a completely different location miles away from the location I thought I was renting from. This is not OK. If a reservation is made and confirmed at one location, the equipment should be at that location, not a different location.

Jordan Y.We were not able to use the online check in at this location. My sister had the same issue last spring. It must be an internet issue? Does the business need to consider investing in better technology? At any rate, we were not able to rent the extra items requested so had to contact customer service to reverse those charges and customer service over the phone was terrific.
Grant E.My original reservation got cancelled while I was there to pick up my truck then had to make a new reservation. The online app for getting a uhaul is not user friendly at all I had issues with my original reservation trying to get the truck then it said it was cancelled then I had even more issues with the new reservation trying to fill out the information for the second reservation then when I was trying to get the $50 back for the guarantee pick up I was told that I wouldn't be able to get it cause they said their system said my first reservation was cancelled an hour and 45 mins after I made the second reservation. On top of the fact I paid over $200 for this truck. I finally talked with Christopher and I was able to get the guarantee $50 but only after explaining my situation and finding out that there were no notes of me talking with someone before. I feel I should be reimbursed for the whole amount as that experience was not necessary at all. The customer services was not good at all. And I work in customer service I know what it's like and that was not good. I will not be going through uhaul ever again. I was made to feel like I was a liar about the whole experience.

Shannon B.Renting from U Haul was a messed up deal. I reserved a 26' truck 3+ weeks before I needed it. The night before my pickup date I received an email saying they have 15' truck available. When I called customer service they found a 26' truck at a different location (which was fine) but the pickup location was closed. Customer service located me another truck 25 miles away!! Sure why not they get paid per mile on top of the daily rental fee! Costumer service reduced my rental rate $10. 10 bucks? What a joke. The whole transaction was a farce. Pickup and drop off process took at least 45 min via smart phone. On top of the hours I spent that day on the phone with customer service. Who has that kind of time on moving day? Besides the actual pickup and drop off location being 20 miles out of my way it was a nice spot & I have zero complaints about that business.

I would say 10 stars all day!!! The icing on the cake is that when I returned he made it just as easy as when I received the trailer.....thank you

My niece rented a truck 2 weeks ago & had to use the online procedure.Took us about 1 1/2 hours to get the truck which did not have the dollies & blankets that were ordered. We had to drive to another location to get. She was to have been reimbursed which she is still dealing with Uhaul. Should have been done in a few days. Then when it was turned in it was another hour online to finally be able to turn vehicle in. My advice is to forget the online checkin. When I rented the trailer I talked with a real person & was gone in 15 minutes, same with the check in. Nothing like real people to deal with. I seriously doubt if I will ever rent if I have to use the online procedure.

Tom J.Getting billed for 100 miles extra that I put on just to pick up and return a trailer, is a very good racket for you. The equipment was ordered ahead of time and you had time to bring the trailer and truck together at one location, or at least forgive the miles I put on to gather the equipment I had reserved. The trailer was not in service before I picked it up, the dealer had 3 auto-haulers sitting buried in snow and it hasn't snowed here for a week. One pick up and return location would be alot handier, but not as profitable for you I suppose.

I am really impressed with the area manager Thomas. He helped me through this whole stressful process and made this a very good experience! He went up and above for us! I can't say Just how appreciative I am for him and his wonderful Customer service skills that he showed me during the whole process.

J E P.Pequot Lakes was nice and the owner was a great help. Merrifield location the lady wasn't there and would not return to rent out the trailer. 1st location in Brainerd showed they had the trailer and it was no where to be found. Took 3 locations just to rent a trailer. Horrible

Mark G.Told us are trailer lights didn't work had to drive 30 min to car dealer to see why are lights dont work. Our lights work just fine the trailer lights dont work. 3 hours behind time then we had to have district manager bring us a working trailer. Very upset that original rental place said he checked trailer lights so that's why he said it was our lights. I dont think he checked them cause had he checked them he would know they weren't working. I am expecting a refund
