Mr. Council has always been so nice and professional, which is why we always rent with UHaul !!

Judy HThis is our second time going to Larry, and he treats us horrible, and always giving us a hard time. He over charge because he feel he can even if we told him we're going 30 minutes away he over charged us. He not only overcharged us but the first time we rented with him he told customers in my face that we had to leave and come back because we didn't have the money !!! Absolutely NOT OKAY !!! I wouldn't recommend anyone to him !!!

naomi rThe following comments are mostly directed at my U-haul rental experience and not all towards Larry Councils Garage. Equipment that I reserved was not available at the location I reserved it (Plymouth, NC). And this not the first time U-haul has done this to me. What good is a reservation it you can't count on it? I was sent to another location to pick up the equipment and after a verbal "fight", was finally granted the option to drop it off at my local U-haul without the One Way charge. It seems to me that when U-haul messes up, they should automatically try to better accommodate you not inconvenience you more, without having to ask/demand. Trailer tire pressure seemed very low on one tire (I did not check it) and I had to go well below 50 mph to avoid excessive sway back and forth. Car was empty and loaded properly.

glenda sDid not get vehicle reserved. Vehicle was not cleaned. Also could not check return of vehicle in after hours. Did not get clear instructions on return requirements and got charged extra $80 for a few gals of gas.

Gary PNot sure they can be improved. I called on Wednesday May 31 to check availability of a 15 foot truck to move some furniture, on Friday, June 3. Mr. Larry checked and told me, that a 15 foot truck would be available, so I went ahead and reserved said vehicle for a total of 24 hours, which meant, when o picked it up Friday, after lunch, I would need to return it 24 hours later. I picked up the vehicle at 11:30, so I had to return it by 11:30 the next day. We got things loaded and delivered much sooner, so we were able to return the truck at around 6:30 on Friday. The office was closed but with the online return link they sent me, I had no problems returning the vehicle. This was not the first time I have rented a UHaul Truck from Mr. Larry, and I am certain it won't be my last.

Nora GMr Council was very friendly and respectful throughout the entire rental process. He was patient and didn't seem to mind taking the time to answer my questions about the difference in the sizes of the trucks. He was so helpful. The truck was ready on time and was clean and had a full tank of gas. I would highly recommend this business.
