Len DThe truck was filthy full of dried up mud was not clean at all I returned cleaned washed it swept it because I do do not want to be charged the $25 fee

The encounter was so uncomfortable that I ended up handling the return date reschedule,and aby other issues before the drop off with Uhaul Main company number instead of getting disrespect,attitude and threats from the owner of the location I rented from.

David RClean up equipment better Make sure the hitch is more securely tightened on the ball. For the first short while the trailer would lose continuity through the ball connection and the truck indicate the trailer lights were faulty or the trailer was disconnected from the truck. This even persisted after it was loaded. I final took a good size wrench to it and tightened it down. Some of the connectors were dirty too and I had to clean them to improve the connections.
Danny LThe u-haul app is incredibly slow and frustrating. It took me 45 mins to get through the rental and it wouldn't load to do the return at all. Very disappointed.
Suanne AI attempted to pick the truck up after hours using the app which is virtually useless. Finally found support phone number and followed her directions for an hour before finally giving up due to frustration and endless problems such as web site scanner not working, locating the key box, unacceptable face shots, getting the app to work, and more. When I finally did get the code for the key box the next day after speaking with support over another hour. The direction for opening the box was nothing like the box at the location. Would think all of them would be universal. Very poor and frustrating experience. Never again

Dorothy SThis is 2nd time I rented a truck. Both times were aweful trying to do process to retrieve my truck. Service aweful. Had to call customer service both times. 1st one, representative had to complete process by phone. I put gas in to bring gauge back to what it was when picked up. I was charged on top if that $33+ for gas even though I left gas tank exactly at same level as when I picked up. 2nd time, same issue with process, over an hour of my reserved time trying to get the truck. Very frustrating

Robert SI dropped off after hours and did not expect personnelto be there. I received emails through every step of the process but never received one that the trailer was returned. This was extremely frustrating since it was 11pm in an unfamiliar city and I didn't want to just leave it. Once i hit continue it said my transaction was complete and would receive email shortly- never happened.
Erik ASo they close at 1200 every day and have a family sit down meal. They said you guys b know they are closed at 1200 but still schedule people. The one gentleman was very upset I came in and yelled at someone else why didn't you lock the door. So is it possible or not have 1200 available on the schedule?

Dawna AI was scammed by the owner. I reserved online and specifically declined insurance coverage. Location added insurance coverage without authorization and told me it was "taxes and regular charges" and gave me an ink jet printed receipt that was almost unreadable.

Jacob CI had trouble finding the carport with the lockbox. The lockbox should be easier to locate.
Ivan BVan was not swept out prior to my use. Contract said tank was 7/8 but when I got in it was closer to 3/4. I only went 69 miles, put more than $20 in gas. Gauge was clearly 7/8 when returned, but dealer noted less and charged me extra for gas. Returned in 2 days instead of three and still charged for 3. Overall disappointment.

Samuel TI reserved a truck for 8:30am. I tried multiple times through the week to call and confirm my reservation like my automated text had prompted, and the phone either rang with no response, or one time he picked up, told me he was with a customer and told me to call back in 20 minutes. When I reattempted 20 minutes later, he was closed for the day. I got to the store at 8:30am. His store did not open until 9:00am. I was supposed to be able to do mobile pickup, but this unsuccessful after multiple tries, even with uhual dispatch on the phone. It was after 9:00am, and I called uhaul for help since I was now over 30 minutes with my move. They were unable to reach him as well. He finally showed up at 9:15-9:20am and completed my rental. When I returned the truck, I returned it with the 1/4 tank of gas like I supposed to, and he is reporting that I returned it with only an 1/8. I will never use this service again.

cora rI wish I could attach images to this message to show the photos of sighs this guy has taped up about deadbeat Uhaul customers with a list of their names and a pic of a sign that says he will not accept debit cards for Uhaul rentals because of deadbeats. I had to use my credit card because he wouldn't take a debit card. My yerrible experience started when I called the man Monday Morning to confirm my reservation. He told me he had other more pressing matters to deal with, that he wasn't concerned about me or my Uhaul reservation. I told him I just needed to confirm my reservation for a cargo van at noon. He told me he wasn't going to check and that if I needed to rent a Uhaul, that it wouldn't be at noon because he goes to lunch then. He rudely told me I had to be there at 11 or 1 if I wanted you rent from him and hung up on me. When I got there at 11 to pick up my rental he was very rude and had an attitude. This is no way to treat a paying customer. If I wasn't in a bind, I'd not bothered with the rental. Thankfully, there's a new Penske yuck rental just a mile down the road. The next time I require a van or truck rental, I'll use them. This was a horrible experience!
Ruben DI would not rent a Uhaul from Lee's self storage in the future. He was not very accommodating. I reserved a pick up at noon and he said that was his lunchtime. He informed me that I should only rent locally and not use the online Uhaul website. It seemed like I was inconveniencing him to pick my reserved rental. Not good customer service.

Edward HI was very disappointed when I got to the site to pickup my 15 foot truck only to find out it was double booked and they didn't have one for me. I was there for over 1hour while a person was renting another but there was a problem and she could not get it so I was able to get that one. This is the second time this has happened to me and it's very disappointing to get told you don't have a truck to rent when you get to the site.
Donald BThe agent was rude and disrespectful. I had a booking at 9 AM and I called up the location twice to let them know I will be late and they did not pick up the phone. When I arrived at the location they had canceled my reservation. This is very unprofessional in my opinion! They should have called me to confirm if I was going to come and get the rental or not! Once I arrived at the location the office was closed, I called the number provided to me by U haul and the agent blamed me that I must have dialed the wrong number. Again VERY unprofessional. I had also declined the insurance but the agent added that on to my booking without consulting with me. Again VERY unprofessional! I showed the agent that I had called at my pick up time and that I did not dial the wrong number they snatched the keys and threated that they will cancel my reservation and I can go get it from some place else! HOW UNPROFESSIONAL IS THAT U HAUL???? In my opinion this location should be delisted as an authorized U HAUL location. I did not have a pleasant experience.
Karan GThe location had awful customer service. I would not recommend Lee's Self Storage to anyone. They were unhelpful and rude. There was no explanation of what we're paying for ie. insurance was added without asking or explanation. When asked questions he was unable to answer therefore had to call the regional number which added a significant amount of time to travel. Changed our pickup location just so we didn't have to interact with him again.
Austin AVehicle was fine but the guy working the counter at Lees has zero customer service skills. Had to stand there while he was on an obvious personal call telling someone how his brother stole from him. Real gruff demeanor flippant attitude. At the end I'm standing there waiting for him to tell me the process was complete and I could go final he spoke treats ppl like jerks

He didn't seem to care about how much of my time he was taking, what condition the truck was in, and he seemed to see how rude he could be while still having me as a customer. "Do you want the truck or not?"

barbara dClean the vehicle. There was mud everywhere (that I sent before I took it) and they still charged me for cleaning because they left mud. The passenger seat was wet and the van smelled like cigarettes and fabric softener.

Sara WOwner of pickup location was 15 minutes late for my appointment, holding up myself and my moving helpers. The truck bed wasn't clean - it was covered with fabric softener, making it extremely slippery. The truck itself was in good shape and exactly what we needed.
Kevin HWeird vibe. The owner is okay but the customer service tact isn't there. Another worker there seemed angry. I had trouble with the mobile self-check-in process. The owner did say that about 50 % of people have problems with it.

Joseph FCost. 0,99 a mile. I only had the truck for 4 hrs and it cost me $100 including gas I replaced. And to have to rent tie down straps on top. No thanks I had my own. I was just looking to move my daughter 1 town over. I just can't get over 0,99 per mile. Outrageous in my eyes. Single mom trying to move daughter and granddaughter.
