LIETTE LSeat belt didn't work. 1/4 tank of gas. Quote was for 162$, redone at locale to 172$ and ends up being 223$ total for a 15 foot truck used for 4 hours ( brought back 2 hours earlier than on contract ) and 132km driven
ROBERT MBad experience with the uhaul application to pickup the truck wasnt working and to return the truck same thing but at least the custumer service was there and fixed the problem.
Ricardo CThe staff was polite but I had to drive to the next city to pick up a truck that was supposed to be at a location in my city. The staff tried to help but I would have appreciated someone driving it over to me instead of me having to get it. It delayed my move by over an hour and it was more stressful.
WARREN GWe did our booking 2 weeks before our moving out. Last minute on Friday night I reveived and read email that they cancel myu reservation which is less than 24 hours when they did the cancellation. Its really problematic since they did not called me and luckily I check the email because if not I am not aware that my reservation was cancelled. The reason they cancelled is that there is no truck available in Mintreal. And it took me more than 1 hour to rech the customer service and customer service cannot help us on the issue since it is Friday night and office our closed and there are reallyu no trucks available. They asked me to call again morning of the next day but I dont feel better that they might say that there are really no trucks available and they cannot do anything. The fact that this is Uhaul faul you should reach out to me to do arrangement and find solutions but that is not wshat happened. I called the customer service until 11:00 pm just to secure a truck and even myself check if there are availablke unit even outside Montreal. Then the customer service always told me that they will transfer me to the right person but it is still same options given by the machine operator. Then I advise the customer service to hold a second if they give me same options from machine operator when they gave me a differenct number and thats it its the same thing again luckilyu I used other phoe to check and did not end the call with the customer support. I dont want toi sleep and end the call without getting assurance from them that I have a truck to be use early in the morning becauce I already booked helper and driver which I dont want to pay extra because of Uhaul delay. They found a truck but its 20' and my reservation is 15' so I told them that its not my problem if it is not the 15' as long as they provide me a truck because we really need to move out since there will be a new tenant on the same date of our moving out in the apartment that we are renting. Ro cut story short I made all the arrangement to pick up the truck which is 3 hours drive from our place and they dont want to move the unit to the nearest location to our place which where we did our reservation. They give us 15 % discount for the truck since it is not the 15' that I reserved and I insist that they need to pay the uber just to pick up the unit and I dont agree to $50 discount only I wanted Uhaul tp shoulder the Uber. ANd its not the end of suffering. The equipments I rented out is also not available in the location where the unit is picked up so I reallhy get mad and disappointed about that. And because of the delay I need to pay the driver extra and I need to rebook the flight of the driver going back to Montreal. Its really a bad expereince for us and I wont recommend Uhaul to all my friends and family. This is a really bad and traumatic experience.

CLAUDE AThis was not my original location choice as it was an hour outside of where I lived. Uhaul changed my reservation, which I had made more then 6 weeks prior, less then 24 hours in advance of my move. Nothing against this location, just was not at all easy for me to get to.
Amber HI was charged 25$ for cleaning fees ? They inspect the truck after we were gone.
PHILIPPE MNo issues with the location. But the self pick up thing needs to be waaaay improved. The app doesn't recognize the location setting in my phone right away, I had to it in the browser which was also full of glitches. It also took a while for someone to validate my identity with my contact. Please improve those features so you can call your service efficient. It took me almost 30 minutes to pick up the truck, delaying my whole schedule. Thanks

Daniel DAsk two questions instead of combining your second question because the van I rented was well maintained but the inside bed was not clean at all. But the service was excellent even when I had to speak to your 24 hr phone service. They were friendly, fast and efficient. Her name was Marilyn.
Jean HEn français s.v.p.! Le manque de professionnalisme du petit propriétaire plaignard à mener à une situation où uhaul a raison sur toute la ligne et où "moi" le client a un problème d'attitude. Je regrette, mais je ne laisserai jamais qui que ce soit me faire la leçon (surtout pas une garagiste qui se plaint de sa petite existence). Contactez-moi si vous voulez plus de détails (ce que je doute).

Nancy cI topped my truck with fuel before returning. While initiating the self return, the truck failed last minute and i had hard time just to remove the keys. I called the support and ask me to drop the keys and don't worry. On the bill i was surprised for Extra 70$ for fuel and service instead of coming compensation for hardship. First If the truck didn't fail, i would had finished the return and wouldn't had to pay any extra $. Second the charged fuel exceeds the distance i traveled by far (based on the average distance per L of the truck). I m still expecting a return call from the manager.

Andrea GTook over 50 minutes to secure my keys for the reservation I made online. The only knowledgeable person literally left at noon and left me standing with no keys because "he had to leave" The present staff tried valiantly to complete my reservation for 45 minutes. They do close from 1200 until 100pm, but the website did not reflect this. Needless to say, I will rent elsewhere after losing a solid hour of my day.
