I requested 12 blankets with my reservation. When I arrived, there was only 7 blankets in the truck and the location was unable to provide any additional. I had to call a local Uhaul number to have them adjust the contract to indicate the the full complement of 12 blankets was not provided. This should have been done by the location I was dealing with.

There are serious issues with uhaul, first they let me know only one day ahead that instead of picking up my equipment not at the location I requested thats 2.6 miles from where I live they had me drive 26 miles to pick up, Thats fuel and miles on my car and the rental truck fuel and miles xtra

I went there and I rented a van for which I was supposed to pay about 50 and the next day my card showed I owed (actually I was charged 183 ) after paying roughly 50. So my total was about 240 for 2hrs and less than 10 miles drive. WTF??? the staff I must say was super friendly and once I showed them what the problem was they resolved it immediately BUT, no one wants to lose 2 extra hours to go back and claim back 183 ( I was charged that amount extra) for nothing. I hope this was just a mistake. Once again, when I went back there the staff resolved the issue for me very swiftly and smoothly.

While reserving online it says it is fast and easy to do it over the internet instead of going inside. They do not say the process is not done and they have to call 2 references to be able to rent.

The least they can do is to have the equipment in working condition. The truck assigned to me had a punctured tire!! ... I had to wait for them to fix it because they refused to assign me a new one. It will also be beneficial if they don't close the Uhaul reception desk before normal hours of operations!!

The trailer I initially requested did not have working tail lights. They upgraded me to another trailer with working lights.

This location is in a gas station which is not too bad, except there is no one solely dedicated to UHAUL. There is only a tiny window on a small little shop that sells gas, food, take-out fast food, etc. There is no way to maintain social distance as everyone is on top of each other. There is enough room in the back lot where they keep the UHAUL trucks to have a dedicated office without having to enter the gas station tiny shop.

Not have some guy assisting you to pump gas and put the trucks away while smoking a cigar! He was quite rude and needed a shower, maybe hire someone a little more professional and with a cleaner appearance.

It's simple enough to get the truck and return it but they made me pay for insurance I didn't want saying it was mandatory. I've rented at other locations and have never been told this so I submitted a customer complaint to Corporate and currently waiting on refund. I hope they change their business practices to not lie to their clients.

No me puedo quejar, buena atención, el vehiculo en buen estado y conveniente ubicación. Lo único que no me pareció bien fue que obligado hay que colocar el seguro al vehiculo cuando en la pagina para hacer la reservacion dice que no es obligatorio. De resto todo bien.

The gas station should make a point to have a separate line identification. There is no indication when you walk into the store to use a separate window from the service station customers. Otherwise the check out process went smoothly. The tech who hitched the trailer for me was very precise and checked his work with safety in mind.

My reservation was for a 15' Truck to be picked up on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at 9:30 AM from G&B Standard Inc 190 SW 8th St Miami, FL 33130. Upon showing up at this Gas station location the lady at the facility asked me for the "Key Number" after I told her the confirmation number, I could not find any information on a "Key Number" in my confirmation emails or even when I logged into My Uhaul Account. While struggling to find the number she was asking for I was put on hold for over 40 minutes before getting disconnected from "Customer Service". At this point, I was an hour behind schedule and desperately needed a truck therefore I drove 15 mins to the Downtown Miami Uhaul Facility where I had hopes that I could have the problem solved. Unfortunately, the man at the desk did not know how to access the key number I was looking for, he told me that he was not "trained" to do this. My question to U-Haul is why do you put someone at the front desk interacting with customers that is under qualified and not properly trained? Additionally, he noted that the Uhaul Neighborhood facility in which I originally planned to get the truck from has nothing got to do with them. Furthermore, I was unable to rent a truck from the Downtown location as there were no trucks available (Only Pickup and Vans, which were not sufficient size). Then I demanded him to ask his supervisor/boss for assistance in resolving my issue; over the phone, the "manager" explained that the reason I could not pick up from my original reservation location is that they were closed on Sunday, August 30, 2020, if that were the case, why would Uhaul allow me to reserve in that location in the first place?! The manager then claimed that he would transfer my reservation to another location but they would have a larger truck available for the same price as my original reservation, this location was an additional 20 minute drive each way from my vicinity of the move which was from 201 SE 2ND AVE (My apartment) to 1103 Sw 3rd Ave, Miami, FL 33130 (My Storage). This whole ordeal cost me to lose my elevator allocated slot of 10 am-12 pm as I ended up showing up at the Unit at 11:45 am therefore had to wait till 2 pm for the next available elevator slot. This also cost me to compensate for the moving helpers' additional time!

I do not recommend this place to anyone because the employees at this place treat customers as if they are doing the customer a favor rather than providing customer service. But they are not courteous to customers they are despotic and disrespectful to the customer and they represent U-Haul and give a bad image to U-Haul.

I files a complaint with UHaul about this rental. The atendant was by far the rudest I have ever encountered ever with U-Haul. The truck was without a dolly and the the interior smelled like dog shit. I had to wash out the entire inside of the cab and spray deodorant for fear that I would be blamed for the horrific odor upon the return of this truck. I would not recommend this location to anyone after the rude behavior mores on behalf of the female named MARAYAI. It would seem the woman has zero manners and is not fit to deal with customers.

In the midst of a pandemic where cleanliness is so important, the truck was filthy. Trash from previous renters in the truck, front left tire was low on air and staff was not helpful.

Waited in line for 30 minutes in a tiny gas station where the area was so small that no one could socially distance. Uhaul rentals need to have a separate counter from other gas station purchases.

Not try to overcharge them. I tried to return the truck through the App and it tried to charge me 5 dollars extra gas, when I clearly left the truck with more gas than when I picked it up. Incredible. Never thought I was going to be ripped off like that. 0 Stars for Until ! Pickup location was OK

Without realizing it, I was given a quote for HALF my trip. Because I trusted U-Haul, I relied on me supplying the miles I'd be using, and receiving an estimate that would reflect this in return. In my specific case, I told the rep I was going on a 300 mile trip, and given an estimated price. After my trip, I found out the estimate was for only 150 miles.… HALF of what my documented trip was to be. Every customer service rep I spoke to about this, understood this for the mistake it was. The regional manager though and follow up disputes dept rep both disagreed and told me that only the amount used is what matters and that I was charged correctly. I'm heartbroken over this transaction.

A lot of time was lost on the pick up process through the app so we had to rush to avoid additional fees. The time period should start from when the vehicle has been inspected and taken off the lot.

This location is deplorable! It is very small, "mandatory" COVID-19 PPE signs posted but no one adheres. The gas Station inwhich the one small window and only one attendant serves U-Haul customers is crowded with gas station customers and no social distancing is followed. This location is a logistical nightmare! After waiting my turn for ~40 mins, the attendant barely speaks english, is slow as molasses, gives me my rental agreement and told me to give it to one of the men "outside." Well I walked around from the gas station to another lot behind the location to where I saw some U-Haul vehicles. There were no attendants, so I had to walk back to the gas station where I waited for almost 15 mins before a man, not in uniform was pushing a dolly. I asked and showed him my rental agreement and he took me to my vehicle. Note, he also does not speak english. I will NEVER return to this. Location. The return process was equally a logistical nightmare!

It's likely I will never rent U-Haul again. I didn't get the equipment I requested yet was charged for it, was told different instructions for drop-off by different people at the location, it was miserable.
