Location was not clean. Gentlemen's running it was not respectful in the slightest. Did not have customer service at all. Was belittling and and rude. Talked to me like I was stupid. Do not recommend to anyone ! Overpriced and not worth the bullshit I had to go thru with this man.

The gentleman was very polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. This was an absolute no stress, problem free transaction and pick-up. Any negative reviews should be overlooked as false or misleading. I've used U-haul several times in the past 3 years and he was by fair the friendliest and helpful for the best overall deal.

Picked up truck and it had low tire sensor going off. Then we also had an awful time trying to drop it off. The app kept crashing every step we did. Then it disappeared so we weren't even sure if we finished it. It was definitely more stressful than it needed to be.

I would highly recommend Lincoln Self Storage. I have never rented a Uhaul before, but he made it very easy. He answered all of my questions and was friendly and polite. I needed two extra days and all it took was a quick phone call and he was happy to help extend the rental for me.

Lloyd goes above and beyond to help his customers so, if you want to improve, hire more people like him. I've been his customer for years and he has always done a fabulous job. If I can't rent my U-Haul from him(or Roger from Easley's in West Plains), I will use my own trailer.

The rental location was staffed by 1 person who was only there some of the time or by appointment. It was an older man who did not seem capable of doing all of the maintenance on all of those trucks by himself. He was very knowledgeable and helpful though. He entered all of the rental information into a tablet and freaked me out when he said that the tablet skipped a couple of pages that he was expecting to be displayed in the rental process. It was during the part where I was getting insurance for various things like roadside assistance or for vehicle coverage for my car that was being towed on the dolly. I was worried that some important piece of insurance may have been left out. Then I was taken outside and given the keys to a 15 foot moving van. I backed up to a tow dolly and helped hitch it up. Then he explained numerous things to be careful of. Chief among those was the 11' hight of the truck that I needed to keep in mind. After getting on the road, I got an email that explained everything I needed to know about the rental truck. It said to inspect the truck before leaving and check the mileage, gas levels, air in the tires, and other things. I had verified the gas level, but the employee had not told me or given me time to inspect the vehicle before leaving. I figured after the fact that the milage was probably right. But I found out that the tires on the truck were supposed to be inflated to 90psi cold. I checked them further down the road and both of the tires on the rear driver's side were 4-5 lbs low. I tried a couple different gas stations along the way and none of them had an air pump stong enough to inflate the tires. I actually lost a few more lbs out of one tire trying to air it up. I tried a truck stop, but they didn't have an air pump available. So it rode the whole way to Joplin with those two tires low. Lastly, after about an hour on the road, I hit a bumpy place in the road and the passenger wheel came completely off the tow dolly. I put in a roadside assistance request and a tow truck arrived from Alton after 3 hours. The tow truck loaded up the dolly and took us back to Springfield to get another tow dolly. I wonder if a tow truck from Springfield wouldn't have gotten there sooner, but they may have all been busy. But that dolly was clearly not road worthy since the wheel came off after an hour of driving. I don't know if that guy at the facility overlooked it or it it just could not have been determined from looking at it. After we got a new dolly, we drove 3-4 more hours and stopped for the night. In the morning, I found the driver side tail light hanging by the wires from the tow dolly and the metal reflective ring was gone. I thought someone may have stolen it, but later that day, I found one or two of the pins holding the metal ring and the tail light on the other side had loosened up and were halfway out after another hour or two of driving. I think the pins rattled loose during the drive and came out on the driver's side. So I taped up the tail lighr with duck tape to hold it on the rest of the trip. Those tail lights on the dollies need to be fastened more securely. Overall, my experience was ok. I made it to the destination in one piece, but losing that wheel cost me a bunch of extra time (about 4 1/2 hours) and the suspension system in my car may have been damaged when the wheel came off. It was riding funny and it would bounce rhythmically for a few seconds every time we hit a bump coming back. The guy that worked there was a nice guy who was helpful and gave us several useful tips about the drive and operating the truck and dolly, but he neglected to have us inspect the vehicle, and he gave us a dolly that was dew to break. The truck was clean and well maintained. His tip about checking the straps holding my car on the dolly was extremely useful since they started to loosen up several times during the trip. So I am left not sure exactly how to summarize everything. If I had to recommend a friend, I would send them to that location, but warn them to be careful and double check everything.

The app wasn't working properly and I couldn't fill out any of the pre-rental info, though I took my own pictures (especially because the truck came damaged AND dirty). The man that my girlfriend and I spoke with (separately) was condescending and rude. I was chastised for checking the parking brake by the renter and after speaking with him, he stood outside the truck and stared at me until I left. My experiences with U-Haul as a company have overall been pretty awful and after 4 separate rentals, I can't justify renting again.

I use this location whenever possible! The selection is the biggest in the area and he usually has what I need. The owner is really nice and has gone out of his way to help me several times already. If you need something, check here first!

I purposefully waited until later in the morning so I would not have to mess with all the online stuff (taking photo etc) when returning the auto transport trailer. I got there on Monday abou 8:25 Am it was closed (Website says its open at 8:00 am) I waited for a while thinking someone would show up shortly... It didn't happen, so I was stuck with messing with the online return, left at around 9:30. still no one there. I drove past the other location in Lincoln on Woodlawn road, appears to be a much more inviting location, and it was at least open.

I was charged for a Dolly that was not placed inside truck… service is very well maintained but just make sure everything that someone is charged and payed for is also put together where it’s needed.

Owner of the uhaul I think is starting to lose it mentally sad to say. Guns, accessories, and ammunition all around the shop. Then called my cell phone to tell me I'm "intentionally fucking him" because I accidentally had the snow brush in the truck cab. Note- I had to clean off all the snow and ice and help get the tailgate open even though the snow and ice had passed through 48 hours later. I don't care if he's met me before or knows my parents from years ago. I'm a paying customer, act as such. Does uhaul pay me directly for the manual labor to clean the truck prior to my rental, or reimburse me for my chiropractor for pulling my neck muscle while doing it?

Inside the building was very dirty, smelled and was a mess. I had to hook the trailer up myself and had to correct him bc he wanted to hook it up wrong. Had to reference the U-Haul website. Someone needs to pop in and inspect the place. Glad they had the trailer i needed but place is a wreck.

Clean up the hallway and office area. Older man was super helpful and nice. The younger guy should find another job. Overall, it was great to deal with older man, he was so nice and helpful. Not a big fan of doing it online. I like customer service.

He charged me for gas when I filled it PAST what was in it when I got it! He charged me an extra 20 for after hours fee when I returned it a day early!!! I only went 36 miles and got charged 1,19 a mile! Yet he told both the customers a head of me they got 40 miles free and 0,89 after !!! So was I ripped off because I'm a woman and they were men?? I'm behind angry and will tell everyone I know NOT to rent from this guy!!!!!

Wrong size of truck assigned with none of the rented equipment. Service engine light if wrong truck was wrong and pics for remote pickup did not match actual truck. Had to call and reserve an additional truck (which was the size I initially wanted as he had 5 sitting on the lot). Until refund shows up, it shows I am paying for both plus the utility cart that was not given.

First off the gentleman that checked me in would make comments that were extremely sexist. When walking in there was no direction as to where to go. Once in the office it smelt horrible. What I could only describe as dog piss, mold, and something dying. Once checked in we went to load the trailer and the sexist comments continued. Like wow you young lady really can drive. I was very offended at the thought that a woman couldn't drive a truck and pull a trailer specifically a large one.

The truck window was covered with bugs and could barely see out. The radio didn't work . The truck smelled. I have used UHAUL a lot and this was the worst experience by far.

My only complaint was that when I dropped off the uhaul I wanted to be contacted by a representative to make sure I wasn't getting over charges I had 49 something being held by the company and then it said I needed to pay 99 I'm fine if it's 90 something including the money on hold but I'm not paying 150 for 3 days 40 miles especially when I made sure to put extra gas in. I was never contacted and if I was they didn't leave a proper voicemail
