First I was scheduled to pick up at Central Park plantation Fl at 10:45am when I got there they were closed and had a sign to use the app. The app was not working for me so I called customer service they told me my reservation was Switched to another location and the store should have notified me. It was 3,5 miles out of my way. By the time I got my U-Haul it was 12:30 due to the app not working and me calling up multiple times. I know no one here really cares but it was a huge inconvenience also I had to use more miles on my U-Haul due to me driving to a different location which cost me more money. Will never use U-Haul again!!!

I was charged twice how can I get a refund
Garvendy JMake sure they know there is no check-in at a counter. You have to do all the information in advance otherwise you're standing in the parking lot trying to get it all done for 15 minutes. Extra add-ons probably won't be in the vehicle. Single women don't go by yourself...

MATEEN KThere were some people that looked like vagrants seating on the edge of the back of the truck when I got there. I tried to do the self pick up, with my phone, when I got to the key part, the lock key box did not have the key. I had to go inside and asked the convinience store shop attendant for it.

Alejandro HI chose in-store check-in, yet it wasn't available there. I went through the share process, but the key wasn't in the box, so I had to call customer service and went back into the store where they had the key behind the counter. I took about 45 minutes to get the truck. Secondly, the cargo area had black dirt on the floor, which is not ideal for furniture to be place there. There were papers in the cabin console - one was a landscaping invoice. Last, when I returned the truck, it was pouring rain. There was no option to skip the exterior photos to return by mobile phone, so I had to stand in the rain taking photos. Terrible experience.

Nelson VThere were two homeless looking guys at the side of the parking lot with bicycles along with an endless flow of cars parking, staying a few minutes and leaving them. Seemed to clearly be drug dealing and while I was waiting for my LATE arriving van for 40 minutes on the phone with U-Haul on HOLD AS THE STORE SAID THEY COULD NOT HELP ME, so I was on my own. I watched as these cars were spooked by me and some slow rolled by and just left. The inside of the store was lined with heavy plexi-glass and a little hole for servicing customers.... felt very unsafe at any other time than midday light. The check in process was the most horrific I have ever seen..... refused to let me use the app.... snuck a picture of my license on his personal phone when I turned my head which he said went to his 'manager' who then checked me in..... THEY STOLE MY LICENSE PICTURE!!!!!..... the van had NO MOVING BLANKETS as ordered and I was told there was nothing they could do about it... YET I WAS STILL BILLED FOR THEM AFER CALLING UHAUL AND HAVE TO YET AGAIN GET ON THE PHONE TO SORT IT OUT..... made this series of complaints to U-Haul after a ton of time wasted on the phone... was TOLD A MANAGER WOULD CALL ME BACK IN A FEW DAYS.... IT'S OVER A WEEK RUNNING WITH NO CALL BACK ON MY IDENTITY THEFT.... I WILL BE SUING UHAUL IF MY LICENSE INFORMATION IS NOW LEAKED AS I HAVE IDENTITY TRACKING AND NEVER HAD A LICENSE INFO ISSUE BEFORE. I could go on, but really not worth the point. Worst experience ever with zero customer service response.
JEROME RMy reservation was 8am-1pm. The key for the van was NOT in the key box. I had to wait until 9am for the Loren Food Mart store owner to provide me with the key. During the return process, another member of the store began harassing me by walking right up to me with 0 introduction and asking me questions about the state of the van. I felt rushed and began to get upset. I explained that he shouldn't walk up behind people and bombard them with questions ESPECIALLY if you're a complete strangers. Overall, I didn't have a problem with U-Haul per se, I just have a problem with the location of the van.

Shamika BThe van was at a food mart so we had to get the code to lock box online but the key wasn't in there. It was in the drop box. The food mart was closed and we had to wait for someone to get there to get the key for us. (I am charing a client hourly for this U-haul so it was a little inconvenient). Once we got the key, 5 cop cars came racing into the parking lot and got out of their cars with guns drawn. Apparently parked behind us there was a guy who tried to rob a bank and they caught him there. I called Uhaul as we left and advised them that the 2 dolly's I had reserved were not in the van. I was still charged for them both and then even charged $100 fee for not returning them. (When I had already told a lady on the phone in the morning that they weren't in the van. I'm just waiting for my reimbursement for the dollys and the $100 charge.
Kristine WWhy am I being charged even more money? Additional $40+??? Took no tolls, refilled the gas, left in the condition I received it with photographic evidence when I picked it up. Resolve this or my future business is going elsewhere forever. Web reviews will follow.
Phillip Pit took me over an hour and a half to get into the truck. Customer service rep was fantastic.

Curtis ROwner is not there. Have to rely on the store cashier who calls him on the phone . Van came with very low pressure in one tire and no air conditioning.
Michael MUhaul was EXTREMELY dirty and smelled HORRIBLE. The A/C did not work and staff was not friendly.
