I retned a cargo van. the van was fine. I told the attendant I may drop off after closing. He said hat was no problem. I returned the van around 5:45, 15 min after closing. I parked the van exactly where i picked it up and dropped the key in the drop box. the following morning I phoned to make sure the saw the van and to let them know that someone had left their IL Ipass transmitter, keys and a Rx in the vehicle. they didn't really seem to care. Late in the afternoon I got a call from Uhaul wanting to know when I would be dropping off the van. I missed the call so I called back the number they said. I waited about 40 minutes to speak to someone who again, didn't really care and didn't ask my name or contract number. They just said it was all good and hung up. in short, picking up and use of the rental was fine. the return process was terrible.

brought vehicle back with more gas than I started with, and still got charged 25 for gas I don't know if this is the location or U-Haul overall but I wouldn't use this service again.

I didn't know I rented a Dolly and blankets as well, so that's on Uhaul for not making that clearer, but when I tried to get the Dolly and blankets they said they didn't have them. Both would have been very helpful to have. Uhaul's $19,95 is terribly false advertising.

There was still garbage in the car (crumpled paper and a Maltese water bottle with liquid in it when I picked it up). I also didn't have the furniture pads that I had ordered in the truck and the truck had a dolly in it that I didn't order. This caused me time to call uhaul to figure out what to do with the dolly since it took up needed room. Somewhere there was a miscommunication and it impacted me negatively.

Uhaul made the move easier than I thought, The site manager Mr. Regas was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely rent from that location again.

The blankets and dolly we ordered with our van were not included, so we had to go home and pick up these items, which added to the miles and usage time.

Your customrt service was easy & sress free. The only thing I would recommend is a bigger sign.

I have returned the vehicle on same day, don't know why they charged me 3 days rent. The person at the desk was not a professional , he is like mechanic and don't know how to print contract doc. He didn't give any contact doc and I didn't sign anything. vehicle was dirty not even clean snow on windsheeld. Gas was only half tank when I return and filled more than half tank millage was only 15 and filled 3 gallons . still they charged me 10 for gas I don't know why? As I said not a good place to rent and I don't recommend to that place.

The outside of the van was dirty, looks like it's been in warehouse for years. Second I ordered a dolly and there was no dolly. Sad next time I'll go to enterprise.

1. The uhaul was too dirty from inside. (The steering wheel was sticky, drivers cabin was smelly.) 2. The AC didn't work. 3. The uhaul had a very bad suspension. 4. Even though I had booked in advance and arrived to pick up the truck on time, I was kept waiting for 30 minutes.

It was pretty straight forward process. Maybe have more garanteed locations with 24/7 service trucks. Maybe have rewards program for frequent customer discounts

The app was great, and easy to use. When I went to pick up the truck, the U-Haul signage was not prominent and I didn't know that the Maaco dealer was a U-Haul provider. Paul

Great experience! I had to rent an extra day and another customer reserved it the day my truck was due back. I got a call from U-haul about it and the associate was very helpful despite my misunderstanding from my previous phone call.

1. Sales person sold our driver insurance that was already prepaid. When calling for a refund, customer service could not find record of the sale, even with a credit card number. 2. Our original reserved truck wasn't available on the day, so they gave us a bigger one at a farther away location. We got charged the extra mileage, even tho they said they were removing the extra charges. 3. The equipment (dollies and blankets) we ordered and prepaid weren't given to our driver, so we had to waste an hour trying to get a customer service agent (gave up after a half hour) and then drive to another U-Haul store to pick up. We had eight annoyed movers sitting around for an hour during this time.

When returning the truck using the lock box, please explain that a picture of the gas gauge and odometer need to be taken before the keys are turned in. This is not explained in the contract.

The earliest I could pick up the truck was 11:30 and the location closed at noon Saturday. The truck I had reserved was not checked in prior, so a call was made to a regional office (I assume) to check it in. The wait ended up being 25 minutes and was a bit rushed. Luckily there was little prior damage to catalog. Good overall, but that was a bit of a frustration.

Vehicle rear right light was out, so was unable to signal while driving. Vehicle interior was covered in glitter and food crumbs, kind of gross.

I had ordered mattress bags from your website and it did not appear on my contract. The gas tank was marked on the contract as full but a quarter tank was used when I receive the vehicle. Also the Uhaul dealer did not have bags to sell. Not a great experience

There some technological issues that cause a delay to rent the cargo van. In turn, I was not able to remove all the items out of my condo in a timely manner. This has caused issues with the association. The technological issues were that my screen shots of my license were not being uploaded to the third party vendor's computer.

The location needs to know when trucks will be arriving. The man I talked to here seemed to have no idea what was going on and then I get contacted by U-Haul saying it never arrived there! Really need to have better communication there!

The truck that I reserved the owner needed it for himself So then they gave me a smaller tuck with zero a/c and it was 92 in Chicago today

They forgot to supply the dolly I ordered. This infuriated me as I found out when I was packing the. Truck That it wasn't fastened to the wall

They were not very friendly or helpful. I had reserved a hand cart and some furniture pads. There was no mention of it and when I asked they simply said they didn't have them. They seemed perturbed that I would even ask. This is not the location's fault: I turned the vehicle in after the location had closed for the day. The website was difficult to navigate and I ended up being on the phone for quite some time trying to get the transaction finished.

The U-Haul online reservation app was not very good. Half-way through the process, it experienced an 'error'. While customer service was quick to answer the phone, they transferred me to the IT department, where I had to tell my entire story again. They advised me to go into the office for assistance....what's the point on the app?? Rep inside the store said this happens all the time. He was great, and completed the process in a few minutes. I'm always keen on trying new technology....this one didn't work.

After hours drop off was a pain. I was told to call U-Hauls 800 number to let them know I was dropping off, but no-one answered the phone on Sat at 5:40 pm. The app needed to verify my location, but my phone's location service was not on. It was miserable and frustrating trying to figure out how to verify I was dropping off on time. My husbands phone had its location service on so he was finally able to use the app.

I've used this location twice now and both times have received exceptional service. This was a last minute move and how quickly I was in and out saved the day and made the whole experience going very smooth. Thank you! -Graham

Brought truck back and employee said he would check it in, by the time he did I owed another day rent. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company.
