Robert LinscottI called ahead to confirm, and the rep at this location told me my reservation was not mobile 24/7 and I needed to change it to get the key left out for me. My reso WAS already mobile. I called home office and they confirmed the same, and called the gentleman while I was on hold. The rep Manuela then came back and told me that he planned to iust stay until 9:15 pm so no need for a lockbox. When I arrived to pick up the truck no one was there. Doors locked. No info about lockbox or codes. Night time and cold outside. Had to call home office again and went through hoops before I finally spoke to someone who fixed the reso in the system and gave me the lockbox number and code to access the vehicle. Overall terrible customer experience that nearly had me stranded and unable to move my belongings. Additionally once I turned the heat on in the truck there was a faint cigarette smell which was unpleasant.

Yes, I would recommend to my family and friends if they need to move. Thank you very much for an excellent service.

Cathy UnderwoodLittle, if any, improvement is possible. The gentleman who processed my reservation was extremely friendly, polite and professional. He was very accommodating when I requested to delay my pickup time by a couple of hours due to the heavy snowfall and provided me with the newest of his vehicles so that I had the best opportunity to successfully deal with the difficult conditions. His assistant was also very helpful and friendly. All in all a very pleasant experience.
Brian TychieAgent was friendly but abrupt and could not explain that the process for photographing my license does not hold the image on file, in memory or in the cloud. There should be some clear explanation of this procedure. On return he asked me to drop the keys and leave. I told him I wanted a receipt but he was reluctant to do so. After I insisted he experienced an error on the app and suggested I call customer service because he did not know what to do. I said I shouldn't have so hr called. Turns out he was inputting some details wrong but finally sorted it out. This u-haul outlet is very unkempt and not appealing. It is not a good representation of the u-haul brand. Makes it look, at best, second rate.

I wish the trucks came with a full tank of gas so it would be easier to know how much to fill the tank when returning the truck. Truck was not equipped with a snow brush and the windshield was completely frosted over so I had to spend my time ensuring the truck was ready to drive, would have been nice if it was fully ready to go when i got there. the strap to pull down the back door of the truck to shut it was frozen at a strange angle so it go stuck between the roof and the door which made it difficult to close the door.

TED BARKUNExcellent value for money and convenient location for pick up and drop off. Rental blankets weren't super clean, but served our purpose. A bit of a hiccup with the equipment, but it was quickly fixed. I would rent here again.

Martha RobinsonI was to pick-up my truck at the Carp rd location. They did not have the truck but there was one at the Merivale location. I even received my confirmation for Carp rd. Wasted my time and money having to drive to the Merivale location. Merivale guy very nice.

ABDELKEBIR BOUHAKKOU2 days prior, I had my reservation relocated across the city because my normal location didn't have it. Although the short notice of the change was a little inconvient, the person who helped me, called me at 7:30 AM in the morning to inform me of the change. Would have prefered a later call. Other then that, the alternate location was great.

Ahmed Monzer Abou ShaabanLocation was hard to access the first time, telling customers to turn at the light before the location and come in the back way would have saved time. Not everyone lives on their iphone and telling customers that they must use their phone to conclude the rental would have helped. I checked my phone once I got home and found out that I had to check-in once on site. Overall, good experience with U-Haul and would recommend it to friends.
