Tell the idiot in Addison Golf Carts in Addison , AL to make sure he has a key for his truck. Totally messed me up. Josh suggested to me to drive 60 mile to another town to pick up a truck. He said he would take 10 dollars off. What a piece of trash.

I have used this location several times in the past and never had any problems until this time. When I picked the cargo trailer up the woman was very nice, cordial and helpful so that part of my experience was great. When I returned the cargo trailer it was scheduled for a 10 am return and the woman told me that she wouldn’t be in until noon and stated that I could bring it back then without being charged extra for it and I replied that I would return it then. Unfortunately a family emergency arose early that morning and I had to get the trailer returned to tend to the emergency. Before I left the site there were no instructions on how to return the unit if the facility was closed. The site happens to be a gated entry site with a call box and requires a code for entry. I wasn’t given a code to enter the site before leaving. So I hit the callbox button and no one answered. As I was sitting there waiting in the pouring down rain a light to a window facing the callbox came on from the apartment onsite where the manager lives and then went out again after about 5 minutes. So I called the number on the paperwork and got the answering machine and left a message stating that I had a family emergency and needed to return the unit. After no luck I returned home and waited for about an hour while my frantically wondering when I was going to be leaving to tend to the emergency which was about two hours away. On my second return to the site still no luck with the staff that runs the site I called the 800 help number on my paperwork. The very nice lady Portia couldn’t get in touch with staff either and really couldn’t give me an answer about what to do to return the unit. So after another 45 minutes to an hour of waiting on the phone I returned home again and waited another hour meanwhile calling the site to get answers. Now needing to get going and very upset about the situation with the site I again traveled back to the site and called the callbox, no answer this is now 10/10:30 am. I would also like to mention that this is a 24 hour return site. I again called the 800 help number and finally got someone who could help me. She tried to get me a code for the callbox but the site for some reason didn’t have it in the system so she got in touch with the General Manager of the site and I was told to just drop the unit outside the gate by the building in the parking area. My frustration and reason I will never use this site again after using it quite a few times in the past is the lack of communication with the customer on returning the unit to a gated facility, the staff living onsite and not being available for such emergencies, the lack of knowledge from the call center about returning units to a gated facility and the 4 hours I had to wait and drive back and forth to the facility to get the unit returned. I do understand that the staff cannot be readily available at all times but I also believe that there should be some literature or instructions on where to

Great rental! Karah waited on me and did a super job helping me find what I needed. She filled out my paperwork and I was in and out in about 10 minutes even without a reservation. Very easy and painless transaction.

The agents at this location are excellent! I can make no recommendations because the customer service is outstanding. I would recommend you use this uhaul location as a standard for others to study and follow. The equipment Is well maintained, the facility is remarkably clean, the agents are exceptional in their customer service skills These ladies should be training your other locations!

Our reserved truck was not there. The person who rented it prior to us never brought it back. We ended up having to rent a truck and a trailer to pull behind it. The guy was excellent and did his best to fix the situation. He definitely went above and beyond.

My reservation was made 2 weeks in advance at Secure Storage Shoals. When I arrived my carrier was not there. I was sent to 3 other locations and wasted 2 hrs. before I got a carrier. I could not get a Uhaul customer service representative on phone. I was repeatedly put on hold till it timed out. Very very poor service.

With trailers always changing hands, maintenance must be very difficult. In my case, a tail light was burnt, not sure how to fix that, but I did need a tail light! This is not a negative comment against the vendor I went to, but an programmatic issue.
