Paying nearly $100 just to use a truck in town is ridiculous. I'll never use this service again, unless this shit changes. Complete fucking rip-off. I'm furious
TYQUAN BMidway auto care was very patient, kind, and efficient. They walked over everything with me about the truck and even offered an auto transport when we mentioned we had to go to a different location for our auto transport. Uhaul as a franchise gave us the biggest run around with the equipment and left me with mixed feelings about using them again. I made a reservation for a 26 foot truck on June 18 stating I would need the equipment on August 2. On July 25th, I received a text message from uhaul stating my original pickup location in Hinesville was moved to a location 52 miles away. I called them and they stated that 26 foot truck was not available at the Hinesville location anymore and the representative mentioned to me that reservations change all the time and with it being a heavy moving season someone else must have reserved the truck. I understand situations arise, however what was the point of making a reservation more than a month out if it doesn't secure the truck you need at that location. The representative I spoke with on June 18 said making a reservation was a good idea so I can lock in that price and that truck for that day. If I knew the reservation wasn't going to actually secure the truck I needed I wouldn't have called June 18 and would have waited until the week of. They moved my pickup to midway auto care and the staff there were wonderful. Then the auto transport in Hinesville didn't have the auto transport because the customer before us never returned it. This was at a storage unit location in Hinesville. I called uhaul because there was no staff member at this storage location even thought I asked the representative who I booked with on the phone that I needed a location with a customer service station or a staff member there. They gave me a new location at Panama motors and the staff there were super kind and helpful. Then we start to make the trip to our destination and I requested 2 movers for 2 hours to help unload the truck and uhaul gave me a company that doesn't have access to a military base after I stated I need someone with access. Working uhaul as a franchise has been a complete nightmare, however working with all of the small businesses through them have been wonderful and the only reason I would consider using uhaul again.

KELLY NWe were stranded on 95 after leaving Florida and I booked a tow. Unfortunately for me, we had to pick up at this address. The manager was very rude and rude to my husband, making fun of him for not speaking English fluently. I would never recommend this place, I thank the ladies from costumer service for helping us, they were very kind
Yanori FI was supposed to recieve a refund for $50 and instead was given a bogus $50 credit for the next time I need a uhaul after having two different problematic rental experiences with Uhaul. I'll never rent with them again.

Clinton DReturning was Impossible!! Wouldn't take the 6x12 tow behind (said they don't deal with trailers). Had to try three other places to return it. Had trouble with on line return for the truck and go "0" help from anyone!
Paul TWe did a no contact drop off. After downloading the app to get our location, the server was not working properly, for some reason could not pick up our location. I did call the 800 number and customer service was excellent. I was able to take care of everything over the phone. Overall great U-Haul experience.

tracy mSend customers to a larger modern service center in Savannah. This location may techically been closer to 31324 zip code but it is very rural and is just an auto repair garage doing H-Haul in the side. Surely there is a better facility in the Savannah metro area

Gregory BWe reserved a trailer weeks before our trip, drove all the way there, and there was no trailer for us. We had to go to another location to get a trailer. Thankfully we got the $50 refund, but overall, very disappointing.

Elizabeth PThey do not help you attach the trailer to your vehicle and I was not aware until I arrived. I had to attach a 6x12 trailer by myself on the side of the highway. Luckily a passerby saw me struggling and offered assistance.

Jorge BThe manager called me and said that a few of the blankets I rented were not folded after I drove the truck 30 minutes out of the way from the nearest location to my final destination. So during the drive some must have shifted. Needless to say there was over 5 dozen still wrapped in plastic that were never even used. I told him the truck had more then the half a tank of fuel and that they were folded when I left. He told me he was not my cleaner and it was not his issue to send someone there right now to fold the blankets that were no longer perfect. Then he charged me to have them folded at his shop. This guy was not only rude but should never treat a customer with such disrespect if he wants to stay in business

Ramsey SPrice was incredibly high, not much less to rent car hauler than our 26' Penske truck. And actually more than quotes we received to have our car shipped to the destination. Next time we will either buy our own trailer or use a transporter. However the service person provided an extra day at no cost to account for potential weather delay.
Varnel DThe vehicle was clean when I picked up and I assumed since it was at a mechanics shop, that it would be well taken care of. But 3 hours into my road trip, the oil maintenance light came on. Also, the radio didn't work and the cigarette lighters to charge my devices didn't work.
