I was not given a dolly that I paid for and realized it when I got home with the U-Haul. I spent over an hour on the phone, was transferred to multiple people who insisted on me trying to find another open location instead of just giving me my 7 $back. Eventually, I was transferred to someone who worked in a different region of the United States who said he would put a note in my file that I was not given the equipment and to reimburse me. It was a nightmare. At least the people at the store were nice about everything. My phone experience is what ruined the process for me. The hassle to make sure I wasn't charged for missing equipment I wasn't given in the first place means I will tell people to look for alternative options when possible.ALIXANDRA G.

Service was good, friendly people, but it was pricey, for a 3 hour rental of the smallest truck for 19,95 $ , going from and back to Manhattan to Chapman, it ended up costing me 125 $in rental plus 30 $in gas . So overall good but kinda expensiveDavid B.

Wash the vehicle prior to renting it out again. If it is dirty on the outside it is harder to tell if there are small dents or scratches. Price was very fair and the rental process was very easy. Customer service in the store was very good. Thanks for a smooth transaction.Gilbert B.

My check out process was efficient and the gentleman that helped me was very nice. However, I am not pleased my vehicle did not have cruise control since I was driving 1300 miles in it. Also may have to buy a new TV since I wrapped the furniture pads I rented around it and it all got soaked with rain en route.Keri B.

When you advertise your prices, maybe tell your company that you charge not only the 19,95 $ rental that it was supposed to be, plus all the other bullshit you guys tack on. I spent 100 $on a uhaul that was advertised 19,95 $ for a one- day rental. What a fucking scam and a lieTRE B.

For starters windshield wipers didn't work great. Was rushed to rent, only to return through a bad storm to see several trucks on the lot. Told me I had to be back or get charged double rate. All in all, I was kind of disappointed. Lastly, I understand there is a shortage on trucks, however, the rental process is very vague.CHRISTOPHER C.

It was not their fault but rather UHaul that only allowed 155 miles and I went over because I did not feel comfortable taking the shortest route due to it being a 2 lane highway with drop offs. I feel I should have been allowed the average of the 3 routes plus 15-20 miles for from pick up to drop off.Wanda W.

Actually, what made this site rank highly in my view was how they recovered from an error the U-Haul website madeâ€"they did not have my reservation on their records, although my confirmation email clearly said the truck was to be at there store. They took a few moments to find my online record and discovered that even though my record said â€œMidwest Ace, Manhattan, KSâ€, the truck had been reserved at â€œMidwest Ace, Junction City, KSâ€. They called the Junction City store and made arraignments for me to take one of Manhattan's trucks and they would fix it with the Junction City store.JAMES H.

I'm giving this a poor because I initially wanted this location and then was told I had to drive 25 miles out of the way to another location. I was at the new location at 9 am like I was supposed to and then I am told there is no truck for me and I had to drive another 25 miles back to where I wanted to pick it up in the first place. I cannot express my disappointment in this. I want to be contacted and talk to someone about some sort of reimbursement for this. My time, gas, and wear and tear on my own truck were set aside by the company and I'm very frustrated about it.Quentin F.
