Your after hours return process is not the easiest. The website/app kept locking up on the location part of the return. I was unable to complete the process. Luckily the gentleman who helped me when checking out the trailer warned me this might happen and gave me an alternative. Please make the return website more user friendly. The weather was horrible and I did not want to return the next day as I knew it was only going to get worse.TAMARA H.

The customer service representative talked me out of getting the 17' truck, said I did not need it! He went over my online check list with me. I also told him I had an "over average" amount of belongings due to living in my current apartment for so many years. He was talking in person on the phone, not digital. I ended up leaving A LOT of my furniture, because it would not fit!!! I am not happy about this at all and will not recommend U-Haul to anyone , because of my experience! I have never had this negative experience with you for my 60 years except now! I had not moved in 16 years, but this was an extremely bad U-Haul representation!!!Denise C.

When I returned the vehicle the system had a glitch and would not accept my credit card. Luckily, I had cash and paid the difference. After I paid, the charge went through and I had to be refunded the cash money I had paid. I was even more irritated that I had to receive the refund in singles and coins. Knowing your equipment would help, to start. I was told I needed an auto transport trailer, until my info was being entered into the computer. THEN I was told I had to have a car dolly. Renting a van and car dolly took an excessive amount of time. Turning it in via the app, was a waste of my time. It did not work, I called the 800 number so I could sit on hold for a long time, to be offered a call back, in 58 minutes, which I did. I got a computer call back stating I was #1 in the queue, and haven't heard diddly since then. Went back to the hardware store this morning to find out I had been charged an additional $20 for not turning it in on line. I asked that the charge be removed, I was told the steps I should have taken, I explained I had gone through them all. They did refund the $20, but I can not recommend Uhaul because of their lack of customer concern and websites that just don't work.JAMES P.

So i rented a truck for 1 day with return to same location. I returned truck and was gonna get charged for 3 days even though i picked it up and returned on the same day. If i didnt ask for a receipt i would have been charged double. I was also charged for a dolley that was on the truck but the seal was not broken. Just poor sales to make sure the order was order was correct.JONATHAN B.

Our experience in picking up the truck was a nightmare! The online system is ridiculous, we couldn't get the code to get the key for the truck put us behind an hour and a half. Not pleased with this experience with U-Haul. Ace Hardware employees however were very helpful!JOSEPH Z.

I rented a van with the gas tank on the F (full) on the gage. Returned it the same but after driving only 15 miles I was required to buy 3 gallons of gas to fill the tank or be charged. I will warn people to not accept that the tank is full unless the gage is well passed the full mark. I have been a customer at my local Ace Hardware store for years but will never shop there again. On return, they insisted the gas was at 1/4 tank when it was supposed to be at 5/8. They then charged me $15+ for 1/8 of a tank! - even though I had a multiple issues and bad experience overall, plus, returned the truck to them 2 days early because I was sick of it. No one even attempted to apologize for anything. Very unprofessional company standard and a miserable rental experience. Look elsewhere.MATTHEW L.

There was only one worker who was genuinely happy to help out, I believe his name is Murphy. There is a worker there as well that is incredibly rude and disrespectful names Landon. He accused me of coming in on an earlier day to pick up the refund I had not yet gotten. I had my receipt and my online verification of my rental. He almost charged me for returning the rental in late because he claimed he couldn't find my records. When I offered to show him the verification on my phone, he acted like he couldn't hear me. Overall, the experience was very unorganized and rudeâ€¦ except for the person listed in the first sentence.Desiree M.

Check out person, Merv, was very curt, abrupt. Did his job but I feel he might have too much of military background for this position. Have no idea if he has that background but that's how it felt.
