The truck leaked water ruined a whole bunch of stuff they said that they wouldn't replace Anything even though I had insurance to cover for any items damagedRICHARD C.
The truck was in very poor condition. The head lights were pointing at the ground providing very little visibility - attempted to correct but it seems the bracket for them is broken. The gas tank cap was not screwed on when picked up.Nicholas B.

After my reservation had been moved from the Hazelwood Missouri location to the Saint peters Missouri location and then canceled at the Saint Peters (As I was in route! to pick up my reserved Truck on 6/1/21â€¦. Now shorted a day of usage with my truck before having to vacate my former residence on July 31) location/rescheduled to the Fairview Heights â€¦Illinoisâ€¦. location this is what happened: The customer service rep entered the wrong ZIP Code to my debit card and it declined the payment she then turned to me and asked if I had enough money to cover the rental I was thoroughly insulted I told her I had more than that available considering that I'm moving across the country! I then Checked the truck over myself to discover 5-7 damage claim stickers and no furniture dolly and without furniture pads which I reserved .. I double back To inform the customer service agent that my request still has not been fulfilled even though I had been insulted .. now I'm reduced to begging for proper service as well.LAUREN A.

The location is difficult to find. Thankfully I saw the small Uhaul sticker in the window of the furniture place after driving around for 15 minutes. I showed up right on time and I was the first customer. Nobody was in front of me. I waited 30 minutes because their system was down and unable to accept payment. So we stared awkwardly at each other and I wasn't even offered a seat, nor was one available. Finally they ran my card for 100 $as a security deposit because apparently that requires a different internet connection. I couldn't assess the truck for damages because the system was down. There's no way I used 20 $of gas priced at 3,37 $/gal for 20 miles mostly highway, so they're not accurately verifying the gas tank is full upon check in. I won't be back, nor will I recommend the place.Nathan W.

The truck I picked up was making a VERY LOUD RATTLE sound. When I pointed it out to the agent, his response was "the last guy who used this truck didn't have any complaints. It will get you where you are going." The truck broke down 30 mins later.PAMELA B.

I only drove this vehicle 6 miles, the gas Guage was not accurate on the final calculation when I returned it. I took a picture of it and my picture is different from what the final paperwork showed. I was charged 4 gallons of gas for 6 miles of useage...unacceptable.ELISA M.

The checkin using the app was a disaster. First I tried the website as the email link took me there and could never get it to connect to location awareness. Called support and eventually just downloaded the app. That started to work until the person was verifying me. Apparently I needed a passport of contact info of another person. Would have been nice to know this before hand. The person I put in as contact never picked up the phone because the incoming number showed "unknown". Then I was just disconnected and tried to start over but it would never connect. Thankfully someone that worked at the location arrived early and was able to get me going. It was a total waste of 45 minutes and I will never use U-Haul again.Pat B.

Not the location fault I'm sure .... but the truck was a death trap ... transmission sounded like it was about to blow .... couldn't take it over 55 miles per hour on the highway and moving to another state ... that made this move extremely difficult... also it felt like the cab was going to continue in one direction as the rest of the truck followed every turn we made ...JESSICA B.

The problem was not really with the location, it was with the U-Haul 24/7 app and the incredibly awful service provided by U-Haul team members on chat. However, the staff at this location also had many problems helping us and didn't even seem to know the combination to their own lock box. We spent nearly an hour at this location trying to pick up the truck.Charles C.

Customers need to be prepared for the online return process, it takes quite a while requiring several photographs. It would be nice to know the process before arriving to drop off the equipment.Brian M.

Make sure not to confuse the customer on drop off times. U-Haul had 10am return then I had to wait along with 2 others until the location opened late, stating that they did not open until 11. This was grossly inconvenient. I believe that we deserve a credit and will be contacting customer serviceZANE S.
