DELANO MQuick return very professional very satisfied. Thank you!
NORA AI received box truck with 9/16 of a tank of gas. When I went to return it, I stopped and added fuel hoping to get it back to 9/16 of a tank. Well I wound up getting it up to 3/4 of a tank. When I asked if I get compensated or credit, she said unfortunately not and thank you for the 3/4 tank of gas. Shitty business practices and I won’t use or recommend your company again. This is 2025. Every penny counts. Bye
JAMES MRented me a tow dolly that had rusted and non functioning tire ratchets. I drove the dolly back to Midwest Clearance and instead of giving me a new one, the man worked on it and got it ratchet down, but he could not lock it. He said UHaul main service said that would be fine. It was not a snug fit and I was told by the UHaul rep who I turned the equipment in that that should never have been driven like that. Second item was the dolly they gave me was a pivot dolly and I was never told that I could not back up with it. Because I had rented tow dolly's in the past, I never thought anything about it. I drove into a hotel parking lot that night and was trying to back out and was unable to. Because I had no idea and a female traveling alone in 24 degree icy weather, I called and Midwest for help. The woman who rented me the equipment said "You aren't supposed to back up with that dolly" I was shocked and terrified to hear that because now the only way out of my predicament was to unhook my car and the dolly and reposition the 100 pound equipment myself. When I asked why wasn't I told? She said, "That's how they are, I just Googled it, you should have known" I asked her if she realized the situation I was in? She basically said, sorry your out of luck! I hung up on her and got to work before I lost the last bit of daylight I had at 7pm, in freezing weather. I unhooked the equipment, drove the car off and hurt my back unhooking off the 100 pound dolly. Repositioned the truck and equipment so I was facing outward of the hotel parking lot and then proceeded to drive my car back up the ramp alone without help, restrapped the chains to the chassis and started to ratchet down the tire straps and neither side would engage. I was jn tears by this point because I could not get them to engage, just like before when I drove to Midwest and the man worked on for 15 minutes. A man came over and after spraying some WD40 on it and fiddling with was able to start them, but the left side still would not lock. He told me I shouldn't drive that like that!! When I dropped off my equipment, I was hit with another shock that I went over miles. I was never told this was by the mile. Apparently, the lady at Midwest put 50 miles down. If I drove from Midwest to my new home without stopping at the hotel for the night, hence an overnight rental, I would have exceeded the mileage. I was not able to directly move in and I still had to return the truck, she never bothered to ask or mention that to me. So $85 later!!! Don't ever rent from there.
