DIANE O.I left a previous review for my last experience and noted that I never received an email invoice for my rental. The good people at Mini Max Storage (455 Victoria Rd, Woodstock GA 30189) saw this, called me, obtained a copy of my invoice from UHaul, and emailed it to me! I don't know what caused the failure in the UHaul inventory system, but the Mini Max staff made sure I got my invoice. I can't recommend this UHaul facility enough. I've rented from them several times over many years and they are the most professional and helpful staff you'll find at any UHaul facility anywhere.

Tony D.The equipment was clean but not well maintained. This is not the fault of the neighbor dealer, Uhaul's corporate management is responsible for failure to maintain the equipment. Hire a traveling maintenance and repair tech to address repair issues related to the rental equipment on the neighborhood dealer's lots. The rear door of the trailer I rented required strong upward lifting in order to get the latch to line up. The hinges need to be adjusted. The coupler needs work; it is difficult to get the ball locked in tight enough to prevent up-and-down movement. I had to use a pipe wrench to get it screwed down tight enough to prevent annoying banging noises. I don't expect the rental employee at the local dealers to know how to fix Uhaul's equipment or to know workarounds when the equipment has functionality issues. I have rented 100+ Uhaul trailers in my lifetime and I have a high mechanical aptitude. I know how to correct many of the problems on trailers I rent but I shouldn't need to and most people can't and shouldn't for safety and liability reasons.

Warinda S.Please be aware of this storage facility my unit was broken into twice in 8 months the first time they installed the cameras because until then there was none when they did install these cameras they were not placed to where you could see the doors so I was moved to a different storage unit in which 8 months later I was broken into again and not only was I victimized twice at this facility by an unknown assailant then they had the audacity to auto pay my account $1 200 for a door that I did not damage and then they evicted me saying maybe it was an insurance job I think it was an inside job and I hope that no one ever rents from this facility ever again because I will see them in court you cannot auto pay an account for a different amount than what was authorized in the agreement so having said that please be advised that this is an unsecure facility facility that victimized me after I had been victimized already not an unknown person and their response to me was why did I tell anybody where my storage building was wow the worst experience I've ever had just the moral the humanity of it was unreal I'm still dealing with the consequences of that the money they took for my account was all I had and I am on a fixed income I paid my rent on time every month and because I was victimized there they evicted me then made me pay $100 more just to get my things out unreal God don't like ugly

Jerry R.I was told to return the gas tank full, and observed that the meter was approximately on full, so filled the tank on the way back. It took 8 gallons which vastly exceeded the amount of gas I used after driving only 15 miles. I was told by the agent that they would work with me on the difference.

Also the rate raised 85 in one year, who does that. We had 2 units here, moved both of them! We had 2,10x15, units climate control for $150 a month, that was clean. I will have to go through my item's see what kind of damage I incurred?

Jason C.The rachet on the drivers side was not holding untill I zip tied it. Basic wear and tear. I reported it at drop off and it was taken out of service untill fixed. I did not have a problem as I was checking it enroute. Other wise the pick up location was great.

Michael H.The equipment was poorly maintained, the passenger side view mirror was loose and would move, so you would not be able to use it to change lanes. Which is a safety hazard. The radio would occasionally come on for a minute or two, and would then cut off again. The gas cap sensor was on and would not go off. If you used the parking brakes, it would take several minutes to actually release.

When we collected our things, there was evidence that a mouse/rat had gotten into our unit. This is the only negative experience we had.

SUSAN B.The guy at the rental location kept emphasizing I need to bring the truck back clean, since it was raining and it would be muddy. He should have been more concerned with the fact that the windshield wiper blades should have been replaced six months ago. Also, the truck had a warning message that kept Coming up about the tires. That's not exactly what I was wanting to see.

EUEL G.The location we dropped off was closest to our home so we chose it. The owner or employee seemed unfriendly and unwilling to help. The parking area was incredibly small and full of vehicles. It was all we could do to park a full size Ram 1500 with the cargo trailer attached without hitting anything. The guy then asked us to back it up right to the spot he wanted but that would have been difficult to do again without hitting the vehicle next to us or one of the parked trailers. When we told him no we couldn't he seemed a tad put out that he actually had to do a little work. We dropped off at 9:30 am. Got our emailed receipt saying it was checked in at 4 or 4:30pm. Wouldn't have changed our price but that's not cool since he was NOT even busy and should have entered our return immediately.

DONNA D. | Expérience généraleMove in was great. Staff was helpful and kind. Rodents became a big issue. Ceiling was falling down, major signs of pests, there was mold on my wood. The unit door did not shut well. The inability to access the unit when needed was a big issue. The price increase was unacceptable as well. Move out, the response time was slow and I literally moved out before my next payment date and was still charged because they needed a notice in writing. Would not recommend this facility.
