Was charged for equipment and they never had it. Reached out to customer services, but said, it was supposed to be taken care of at the store. - then what's the point of the app and having options to dispute charges? And where was the curiosity call when reporting those charges (I.e rented equipment, which the location was not able to provide, yet still charged me for it)

julie jacobsonpresIt was clear that the van had not been cleaned since the last user. There was straw and twigs in the back as if hay had been being hauled. The outside of the van was dirty also. I was asked when I turned it in if I had left it clean. I replied: "No, I am returning it in the condition in which I picked it up. I cleaned all of my part out, but the van was dirty inside and out when I got it." The gentleman was apologetic, and said he would make sure it got cleaned. But this location is a Mini Mart, and U-hauls, are not their main business, so I wouldn't expect it to be much different. I appreciate that it was in a location convenient for me, and that I probably didn't have to wait as long as I would have in a uHaul location, so for this, I would re-rent from them.

Nima NekouiI had the padlock that locked the box on the bed was licked. after sevral calls and 3 failed combonations and 3 hours of my time i had to cut off the lock. I belive i should be reimbursted for my time at least a $50 refund to my credit card

Jeffrey JohnsonThis was a store liquor store drop off location. The parking lot was small and no room for the truck I was returning. The person running the store prioritized everyone else in the store buying things from his shop over me even though I was there first. Did nothing on the inspections sheet and seemed genuinely just disinterested in anything to do with Uhaul, you should remove this as a drop off location.

Katina LaneThe driver side mirror collapsed and would not stay in a fixed position. This made it extremely hard and dangerous drive on the highways, let alone merge. This is unacceptable when it comes to rental equipment as this could have caused a fatal crash/ a lot of money in damages to no fault of the driver.
Michael HazlettI would not have accepted this rental except for that fact it was the only location that had the van I needed. As soon as I opened the door, I was hit with the stench of stale cigarettes. I'm a former smoker so that smell usually doesn't bother me, but this was terrible. Inspecting the car further, there was actual tobacco in one of the cup holders. The vehicle clearly hadn't been opened and inspected since it had been returned. I noticed a few dents on the sliding door and I'm glad I documented the pictures during my walk around because the last day of my rental, I let the door slide closed and the black panel along the bottom just fell off. I got stopped by another driver on Sunday night telling me that I had no lights in the back. The one thing that I should have said forget and not took the truck was the malfunctioning parking break. When I would engage it, the system said it wasn't engaged and when I would release it, the panel would say it wasn't released. I had to locate parking where there was literally zero incline because I had no idea if the van would be there when I got back. If I could give this experience no stars, I would. Will definitely be rethinking my continued use of this company.
STEVEN BLOCKERI returned vehicle and walked around with uhaul employee. I was asked to sweep out van as he walked the vehicle doing inspection. I then left and was later charged for damages to vehicle. The company never called me to confirm the charges they applied to my card totaling I've $2000. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received. And now i am short on money due to this company making false allegations of damage after taking the van back out of my possession.
Justin CurranHave reserved parking for the trucks when returning. I had to go into the mini mart to ask if the truck can be parked at the front. There was ketchup in the passenger seat, candy wrapper on the door pocket, and the cargo area was very dusty before using. The mobile pick up should be easy but instead was time consuming. I would have rather just gone to Home Depot in the morning vs having that hassle. The person who called the verify my identity didn't even introduce themselves properly or accurately stated the reason for the call. Sketchy if you ask me.

Monet MccordFilled out the all of the pre check out items online to expedite the check out process only for the merchant to walk me through the entire process again at the store. Was charged for 2 days when I return the truck the same night. I have pictures and video to support. Mileage was increased to over charge me as well. I surely will not use uhaul or the mini mart again

GLENN CROSSFirst, we weren't told that gas needed to be filled up. The employee just said to take picture of the mileage. Therefore when we got to the location the employee said we can fill up the gas or pay $44. Of course we took the truck and filled up the gas ourselves. When we returned there was no parking available for truck. The employee told us we can park at the lot by the recycling bin. When we went to park there we were told by someone else we couldn't park there. It took us an hour to drop this truck off and checkout. The employee made it difficult with the parking situation. My husband went into the truck 4 times because of it. The employee was not helpful . This location was terrible and I would not recommend renting from here.

JOSEPH DEANGELISGood Morning, I used a UHaul from the Minit Mart Market the other day. I had a few issues. 1st issues is they had a lock with a code fro the truck. When I arrived they did not know the code so I had to wait 20min until they could figure out the code. When I returned the vehicle I had an issue as well. I was quote $5 to use 6 pads and I was charge $10. Also I was charge for the hand truck and I did bit use this as well. The last issue I had was when I first called I tried calling the Point Loma Uhaul. Since they did not have the truck in stock they said the closes one is 3 miles away. The Minit Mart Market was. It 3 miles away. I would like to file a complaint and would like a refund on the items I did not use. I also feel like I should be compensated for my time and stress.

Jacqueline GriffithI drove 20 miles and paid 18 dollars to fill the gas tank.I paid 4,17 per Gallon... not sure how I used over 4 Gallons of gasoline in 20 miles. I mean 5 miles per gallon is kind of unheard of. Overall service was good, the customer service was good, just a bit expensive for me. Merci.
ROBERTO LUCEROMaria was very sweet! She got us in and out in no time. They didn't try and sneak in extra fees. They were very black and white. When we returned the vehicle they just asked for mileage and a picture of the gas tank and that was it! Was nervous about dealing with a shady Uhaul renter but they were awesome and would 100 % go back!
REID NICHOLLThe UHaul experience I had was truly terrible. I booked the UHaul Tuesday, five days before I needed it, to be picked up at the PB location. I was moving and had something to pick up at 5pm. When I got there the cargo van UHaul I had booked wasn't there. The only ones available were larger ones that wouldn't fit in my parking port. I waited an hour while the attendant called UHaul customer service. The woman on the line was incredibly rude, told me she wasn't here to help me, was in a different department and hung up on me. The gas station attendant can verify this. After a considerable amount of time, the only option given to me was to uber - again- as I had ubered to the PB location to pick it up - to the Linda Vista location which is miles away. Once I ubered there I picked it up but had missed my 5pm pick up, so lost out on that completely, which was one of the reasons I had booked the UHaul in the first place. I was also told that to drop off the UHaul at the PB location would cost me extra, so I had to go out of my way, add miles - which put me over 100 miles- and took tile out of my contract to drop it back, and get another uber all the way home. When I went to pay the balance there was a $50 charge ADDED to the bill. The attendant at Linda Vista had to override this charge, as I had been told it was to be deducted as the van I ordered wasn't available. I had such a terrible experience I would absolutely not recommend UHaul to anyone.
