Customer service was terrible. Don't tell us to do your job and move the truck to the back of the lot yourself. There was no sign to indicate where the trucks were to be dropped off. There was a sign to indicate no trucks in the parking lot which made it very confusing.Ann J.

The person setting me up has a dismissive attitude but I almost expected that as I walked in. The van had a tire pressure system that was faulty. I wasted money trying to fill air. The indicators were dead. It clicked fast meaning one of them was not working. I checked and they all blinked. It clicked normally for the first couple of clicks and then started clicking faster to indicate a fused indicator light. Also I was charged for gas and I fueled it at the Canadian tire gas station right beside that location. I'm disputing that charge. I wanna see the photo by the employee during check in.Haroon K.

employee was horrible and rude and started yelling at us for pointing out that the tire was flat. when we started driving there was a warning for it. he also forgot to give us the rental contract at pickup and then tried to say that we didn't fill enough gas, even though we returned the van with more gas than required. he was really rude and didn't know anything about customer service. should get fired in my opinionNiharika S.

It was my first time picking up a U Haul The location was not appropriate. No one to help, however when I called U haul 3 days prior I was told someone will be there to help. The process of mobile pickup was very difficult, I was told to call a number (647) 258-9573, no one answered, and U haul customer service has a 52 minutes wait time.Saurabh K.

Location was not opened until 9:20 by which time there were several people waiting for 9:00 pickups. No apology or explanation was offered. Original booking was for an 8:00 pickup but location called the afternoon before to change it to 9:00ROBERT D.

The lockbox was apparently stolen so I was unable to pick up the truck as scheduled in the evening and instead had to drive to Mississauga from Vaughan disrupting my work day just to collect the key. I was unable to drive the truck back at that time and when I returned in the evening I was unable to use the link to confirm the condition of the truck. It was a very difficult feat to contact someone from uhaul at that time and ultimately I didn't receive much help. Truly did not meet the expectations I had and was a very inconvenient experience.Bushra A.

I am not happy with the charges made on my truck pickup. I picked at 11,1 am today and dropped at 12,15 pm today , drove 10 KM's, filled the gas and i was charged 30 $for the fuel. They gave me 3/4 Quarters and I returned with 3/4 but the bill says 1/2. It's an insane and bad customer experience with this company. I called 20 times and to the number 905-272-3860 and no one picked it. I want my money back, otherwise I am going to take this to your CEO office further. Lucky that I had all the proofs, which are attached, before pickup and after pickup with exact mileage. How come a 3/4 becomes 1/2 in your inspection? Awkward busy location, unable to get supplies needed/ rented prior. Why offer the equipment if you don't even carry it? Blunt, unapologetic staff (definitely overworked can't even blame her). Witnessed multiple other people being denied equipment while there (me a dolly, another boxes and a third the wrong size truck from what was reserved.)SARAHJANE R.
I will never rent from this location again. It took half an hour to get our reserved truck. When we dropped off the truck we had no instructions on how to do so. Never once in the many times that I have dropped off a U-Haul after hours have I had to go through a lengthy process to drop it off as well as go on a scavenger hunt to find the box to drop off the key.Edgar L.
They gave me the wrong size truck and person at the desk insisted I ordered a truck when I definitely ordered a van. Then I couldn't complete the truck return on the app because of this. U-haul promised to charge me for the van and not the truck, so hopefully that's the case.OLAJIRE L.

There was a huge line up and only staff working on the reservations, lineups, new reservations and what not. Plus the system was slow and the staff was not able to perform their job in timely manner. During the drop off there's no dedicated parking spot listed. Like no board or sign that says that you can park here if you are returning after 5pm. The location of the storefront was in a flea market. It was very difficult to find. Although the line was short, each interaction took long. There weren't any proper signage, direction. We followed what the app said to locate the truck which we did but then it said to still see the uhaul rep which we left the line and came back to a larger line. Very disappointing first experience. We were 1 hour late to actually obtain the truck and the rep was confused why we were late. We indicated that there was a line and the app was not clear in direction. He still looked confused although he could clearly see there was a line outside the store. Oh also, there were flies everywhere inside. Disgusting experience.SAHIL J.
Had a pick up schedule at 8 am, office opens at 9. Door locked. Guys come out and no good morning or how can I help you.... Just simple : you have to wait till 9.... He was inside with keys, making me wait till 9. What a crappy service.Zbigniew W.
I was charged for the insurance without asking for it, which was a waste of 15 $. Secondly, I saw numerous cube vans at the location and was told the only thing they had was a 20 ft. truck.....and the person behind me who didn't have a reservation came out and got a cube van, so I was forced into paying a 40 $rental fee instead of 20 $. The worker himself was nice, but the tactics were not what I expect from Uhaul.Andrew T.
Clean the cab of the vehicle before the next guest picks up the rental. I found clear signs of drug use and general filth, and minor damages all over the inside of the cab including cigarette resin. It also stunk of cigarette smoke. Most surfaces were somewhat sticky. The floor was covered in food debris. Zero effort given to hand over a clean vehicle to a paying customer. Answer calls better at stores was gonna be late for pick up called about 10 times no answer, seems all stores same was calling another location to set up for truck called bout 4 times finally got through only to get cut off tried calling back no answer called another few times then just called the on line number for I haul to finally get something. Nothing explained right I was told if drop off will be same as pick up so much mileage would be free well guess that was not the case at all as for if I will use again not sure.MARK E.

I had to wait for 25 mins for the attendant and didn't show up. So I decided to go to the parking lot and look for her, took her another 20 mins to do the work there and another 20 mins to get to the office to give me the truck. On top of that I rented a dolly and on my website when I was checking out got charged a dolly and a cloth thing (extra 5 dollars).HENRY H.

You need more people to process pickups and returns. Also, I'd come on time to pick up the truck and had to wait 50 mins to get the keys which I was ok with. I get a call at 4 asking me when I would be returning and when I said I'll be there in an hour the lady said I would be charged for an additional day for â€œholding up pick up for other customerâ€. If you guys are not competent enough to give the truck on than you should not be charging me for it. I got it an hour late, I returned it an hour late.Dipen S.

The customer service of this location needs to be improved. I came in the morning to pick up a truck rental that I booked online. I was the only one in the line and I waited for 5 minutes to be assisted as the guy was on the phone texting. I have not assisted accordingly as the guy did not explain anything and I needed to prompt the questions. This is the first time I availed Uhaul rentals. The guy just let me sign the form without even going through the contract. Upon the return of the rental, around 4 pm, the guy said he's worked was done for the day and just asked me to hand the key to him. I just felt but to wonder if that's the right thing to do. Moving is a very stressful life occurrence and people do not deserve to experience bad customer service skill especially from a Moving company. Overall, i had a bad experience with this location and i wished not to avail their service.CHRISTOPHER-EDD G.

The equipment had an odor and was not satisfied with the service. The 800 number had an extreme wait time. I waited 2,5hrs on the phone to get a hold of someone. After many debate with the employee, finally managed to change the equipment which was much cleaner and odor free. I dont recommend anyone to pickup equipment before the store hours since there will not be anyone available to help.SAHIBD M.

It seems that you rented a truck to someone named Taran and then sent four emails to me letting me know that my truck was ready, I could check in, my receipt and this survey. Apparently, your software doesn't check to make sure that the same email is not being used by two different customers, or that the staff can select random email addresses from your database of previous customers like me.
