patricio valderrama nunezDo businesses get vetted before uhaul approves them as a suitable/appropriate location? A run down convenience store that has a tiny parking lot doesn't seem like a great location to me. When we returned the trailer we let him know about a couple of issues we had. First, the fender over the tire was bent and was rubbing against the tire. We noticed this before we had loaded anything into it. Hubby bent it back so we could continue to use it. Second, aren't these trailers supposed to have an actual trailer plate on it? Ours had a worn out and torn temporary plate. When we returned the trailer we let the clerk in the store know and he just shrugged his shoulders as if to indicate this was not his problem.
OTTO WAIZENHOFERThe front counter where we checked in was right next to the main door of the convenience store, and customers were constantly going in and out. Wish they would deal with u-haul customers in a different area (further down the counter where it is less in the way of the foot traffic).
Michelle WatsonThe guy at the convenience store ( key holder of the uhaul vans) was rude for no reason including speaking to my mother and losing his patience when my mother didnt hear him a couple times but overall the truck was fine and got the job done
Coral CormackI arrived at 9:50, 10 minutes earlier than the pickup time to get the vehicle. The Convivence guy kept taking clients at his store and he made me wait on the side. He gave me the keys at 10:15 and told me I needed to get the van back at 1. I told him he caused a 15-minute delay and then he said that does not matter, if I didn't wanna pay extra I should bring the van back by 1. Plus the van smelt like somebody pooped in it.
Neeraj BhagiaI was charged extra because the fuel needle was not exactly as indicated on rental contract, I was charged extra because I was an hour late , and I was charged extra because I was over mileage, when I was told I had extra miles provided.. I had to rent the truck because U haul could not provide the covered trailer I had reserved in the first place I had the unit I wanted in the first place I would not have incurred gas charges, late fees, or mileage fees.
Syd RobsonTrailer tongue weight is very heavy and was dropped to the ground. I had to lift it myself onto my hitch. Quite difficult.
Mark WhiteThis was a last minute location change forced on me by U-Haul due to someone not returning the truck I booked. Added several kilometres, additional fees and inconvenience to my day. The truck itself was fine.

Duane FeeleyI was told all your moving vans came with ramps and Dollie's. that was not the case for my rental. Something amiss with the gas gauge on thir van I rented. It showed approximately 1/4 tank full. I drove it for 65 miles When I returned the van and put gas in it to bring it back to 1/4. When I returned the van the operator told me I had to pay to fill up the tank because it was less than 1/4. I took the van to the local gas station and put in another $20 worth of gas. I don't see how to go 65 miles and no idling would cost $50 in gas The outside of the van was extremely dirty. When I drive it there was a definite theme as if there was a bulge or shifted tread in one of the tires. The transmission was also acting up. Lastly this was an American truck with mileage instead of kilometres. So you had to mentally keep converting miles to kilometres to stay within speed limits. Never again

Roman KiprenkoIncompetent "staff" - convienience store clerk more interested in the store customers than anyone needing to pick up a u-haul. Was continuously on the phone during the more than 1/2 hour pick up time required to pick up a reserved trailer. Then, once the paperwork was done, no help with the trailer whatsoever as he was "busy" with store customers buying cigarettes and sodas, etc.

Heather MacLeanThe business' closing time of 5:00pm may make it tough for some customers to do a same day rental. The van that I rented was clean but had a musky smell to it and should have been aired out prior to rental. The gentleman who I interacted with was very friendly and professional. He was very quick with the check in and check out procedure
Eric WatsonWe booked a 15' truck for Norwood and got a call 2 days before that it wasn't available. What is the point of booking a truck online if you don't make it available - we didn't get the proper size or the location. We had to take car loads the day before because we knew we couldn't get everything in the 10' truck but the 20' truck was too big.
cameron LawThere was garbage in the vehicle when I started and had to dispose of some of it there was a 5 foot sheet of cardboard in the back of the vehicle that I left on the floor and I believe charged extra for it also the gas was very expensive and is very bad for thr environment. I don't know why electric vehicles are not used for uhaul options.

Kevin ParryThe back of the truck had been left very dirty by the previous person. The attendant at Mister Convenience very kindly came out and swept it out. The truck had been left virtually empty of gas. That's very annoying and frustrating to get into a vehicle and have to get gas. U-haul charges a premium fee if gas is not put back in, this money should be used to always keep gas in these vehicles.
