when I picked up the trailer it was dirty and in order to use it I had to go to a car wash and wash it! Also, the license plate light on the trailer did not work. Due to the lack of license plate illumination, the policeman who stopped me in the dark informed me and recommended that I continue to drive only in the daytime or remove the fault myself.

Indicate on the site what size trailer hitch is needed for the trailer rental as well as the what type of electrical plug in the trailers are equipped with. Had to by a $20 adapter, that I already had in my garage and could have brought with me. The service at this location was outstanding, so friendly and helpful very nice people.

Well i had rented the trailer on a Sat and was going to return it Sunday and with the location being closed Sundays was told i basically could return the trailer by Monday and id only be charged for one day which was great! However, i told the lady that after my 1st load was done the same day that id be dropping off the trailer briefly as we had nowhere else to park because we would be swapping trucks for my 2nd load as my 1st friend was only available for one load! I returned to get the trailer with the other truck and the lock was put on so i could not access the trailer and the closing paperwork had already been put through to my email! This caused me to have to make several extra trips with my friends vehicle instead of one and we did not finish the move till 230 A.m. as with the trailer would have been done at 10 p.m.

My experience with U-Haul, specifically with an employee named Joanna Hang, was not just disappointing but downright appalling. When I arrived to pick up a truck I had reserved, and when I double-checked whether my payment had been processed as I had provided my credit card details by phone, I was met with hostility. Joanna Hang responded by yelling a blunt "Noooo, you didn't pay" at me. This level of rudeness and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. As someone who has been a respectful resident of Canada for nearly seven years, I was embarrassed, especially in front of a guest new to the country. It was an utterly disrespectful encounter that tarnished the reputation of U-Haul for me. I urge potential customers to consider this experience when choosing a rental service, as the treatment I received was unacceptable and indicative of a severe lack of customer service skills.

Was a bit challenging to negotiate the narrow laneway to hook up and drop off given the ice on the road otherwise sales rep was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this location.

Tire tread was extremely low for a 1000km trip. A trim piece covering the wires in the wheel well came flying off 10 mins after picking up the trailer. Luckily the bolt that went flying didn't break anyone's windshield in the highway. Not impressed whatsoever

The wiring harness was broken and i had no tailer lights but the person running the UHaul location had a spare and quickly fixed it.

The after hours check in procedure seemed excessive (asking for numerous contacts and employer phone numbers) the location parking was non existent when dropping it off as there is no designated parking stall for uhaul and the parking lot is small and was full of cars.

The clerk was neither helpful nor unhelpful. They did their job. However, they did not call when they found a personal item that was left in the vehicle. If I hadn't called them I wouldn't have gotten it back.

We took 18' feet truck for 24 hours, and we found that truck front windshield was cracked, truck breaks and steering was not good enough and needs more inspection. Thanks Balvinder Singh Ubhi

Was scheduled to pick up at Okotoks location. After getting there, it was determined there were no trailers to pick up at that location so had to go to Queensland location in Calgary.

The equipment was well maintained, but no clean. Inside is ok, but out side was dirt.

The self sign in and out app is not intuitive and I would NOT recommend to anyone. Fix your app! If you want to know what didn't work have your app guy call me. Also, two wheel dolly that was ordered was not there, why? And I think you charged for it.. I would really like to see that credit please. Really not impressed with the app!

With my last 2 rentals, both times the folks doing the check-in were friendly but just at the most odd location. One was in the middle of nowhere and needed to drive a LOT of extra kilometers to pick up and drop off the truck. The second is in the middle of a dense residential area also needing to drive extra kilometers to pick up and drop off the truck plus getting stuck in that residential area traffic. Being close to a major roadway is kinda of a must.

Convenient location for pickup and return…

The hours advertised at the location are not the hours they are actually open. When I we tried to use the app to return the truck we were not able to do so because the location could not be located. I installed and uninstalled the app several times. I also tried on another persons phone and the location would not show up. I ended up calling the support line and thankfully the agent was able to send me a link and I signed out that way. This was the worst experience and I have been renting uhaul vehicles for 40 years.

The lock on the key box is quite difficult to operate. Instead of sliding open easily with the lever on the lock - the bolt must be manually rotated/moved which was quite difficult especially at return in the dark.

101 dollars for a distribution fee? 19.95. A day. My ass. Maybe. Disclose those added fees beforehand. What a joke. My bill was 145 bucks for a 4 hour rental. However, I was told only like $40 was due when I picked up the truck. Total false advertising. What a scam I'm probably never renting from U-Haul again.

Can if truck was dirty with dried mud on floors, food wrapper on floor drivers side behind seat, windows inside looked like someone attempted to clean them and left the streaky.

The truck we originally rented was stuck in ice so the lady at the store upgraded us to the 15' truck so we could get moving. As this took an extra half hour to sort out

Lady was so extremely disrespectful me and a customer prior to me arriving were very upset . She did struggle with basic English too and I feel like a lot of miscommunication was from that issue. Truck I rented had a misfire and check engine light on. Would never go back to that location (Queensland)

Van had some garbage in it, included a dental pick in the driver-side door wheel well - ewww. The drink holder had frozen coffee in it that of course melted and slopped when the cab heated up. And a few other pieces of debris. The driver-side windshield wiper was in disrepair, sliding off of the holder, so it was scraping the windshield. This will score the glass, distorting the view and possibly leading to cracks or failure. And, as always, the "Check Engine, Oil Replacement" display was on... Ran well otherwise. But am always surprised that U-Haul doesn't invest in winter tires to protect their vehicles.

Cab wasn't clean, engine light was permanently on in the van. Otherwise staff were very helpful!

Truck had and engine light. It was extremely expensive. Location was very dirty and hard to work with.

The staff were rude and uneducated the truck smelled of weed and had garbage all in it. I had to ask for windshield wiper fluid for the truck and there is clearly no maintenance done because the truck needs a wheel alignment.
