With little notice (a day prior) to collection of the van, I received a call that the pick up time and size of the van changed. Hence forcing me to change our plans as we had booked a ferry, that we had already booked giving the correct booked 10’ van dimensions. I had to travel to Calgary, spend more money on travel and gas to get the u-haul and the lady I spoke to upon collection of the van had limited English, making the customer exchange harder. All bare one customer service staff member was either rude, unclear or confused with our simple questions and provided little help. The app was okay, but the prices kept changing and instructions to call after wanting to change the pick up time made me seem stupid, even though the price increased dramatically by changing the time by 30 minutes. The method of return of the damage deposit money was unclear and now I am waiting for a cheque in the mail. Assess all options before proceeding with U-Haul. And expect poor customer service.

Adrian KBest uhaul pick up I've experienced. Staff was helpful and proactively helped brush the snow of the truck. Would definitely use that location again.
Lindsay Pgreat customer service, i called uhaul calgary for a quote issue and they were very rude but the service location lady was very nice.
