Michael NAgain, the location itself was fine. HOWEVER a big problem came up with trying to actually drop off the trailer. I, once booked this location as my drop off. When I arrived the owner of the store had no idea that I was scheduled to drop off. It turns out that U-Haul had changed my drop off to a location in Albany, NY. I then called U-Haul and went through two representatives before finally being "OK'd" to drop off the trailer. Ridiculous!! This should have been a no-brainer. Instead, it took a solid thirty minutes of phone calls, and email searches, before finally getting the OK from U-Haul to drop off a piece of equipment which I had taken care of days before. Why the drop off I originally listed was removed by U-Haul is a mystery. Really a big time waster and not something I'm looking forward to doing again.
JAMESW GRental process was easy and quick, equipment functioned great and truck was nice and clean. Customer service at the Nassau location was very poor and he argued with me about the price of the damage coverage stating it was more than what was advertised when requesting the rental. Although the location of this Uhaul rental was perfect, I will never refer anyone here nor will I be using this location in the future.

Lyle HInstructions for picking up the truck could be more detailed. The wording of the truck number location was unclear and I had to look all over to find it. The key box was on a building next door and it was only a lucky guess that led up to it. When we picked the truck up, the lot was not well lit, so perhaps there should be better lighting. Better signage and directions would be easier.

Russ MFor this time of year, to make sure everything is fully thawed and/de-iced before customer arrives to pick up truck. I arranged to p/u a few hours after reserving the truck. I was told it was going to be done which it mainly was but before leaving, I asked for the side rearview mirrirs to be cleared of the ice; couldn't see. Also, didn't realize until later that at first, couldn't open the back of the truck due to ice. Other than that, it drove fine, etc..

MAEVETOWNSEND OThis was the absolute worst experience I've had with uhaul. Everything from pick up, to the quality of the truck, to honoring the price I had already locked in. Terrible. I will never use uhaul again.
HAILEY QI love working with the staff at Nassau Merchandising. They are so helpful and flexible when possible. I have a lot of balls in the air right now and some health issues that make moving difficult. I need some flexibility and they are always supportive when they can be. So helpful. I have used this location many times. 100 % approval rating for all levels of customer service.
MICHELLET LI don't think this site does a lot of business. I had a low tire pressure message right after I pulled out. Also didn't have an opportunity to check truck for dings-there was one one-way truck available, and my reservation was switched at the last minute for pick up here.

MARCIAJ SThis location is so important and convenient to me. I can walk to and from my home to get my vehicle and leave my personal vehicle at my residence - a HUGE convenience. Danny is super nice and very good to work with. This lication is an essential part of a moving and shaking culture in the Hamlet of Nassau, New York. I am alwys 100 % satisfied with doing business with Nassau Merchandising Company. They ROCK!!

Dan AOnly issue I had, was credit card machine or whatever wasn't working, tried 3 cards none of them went through. Had to run to an ATM machine and get cash and because I returned it when business was closed we had to go back this morning to pay for additional mileage. Kind of an inconvenience, but other then equipment and blankets were spotless and very good service.
James KWhen I picked up the Uhaul truck we had to jump it with my jumper cables and car because the truck battery was dead. It died again in Albany, and I had to get someone to come jumpstart the truck again before I could take it back. Uhaul estimated it would be between 60 and 90 minutes before the repair person would arrive, but it only took about 20-30 minutes. The location is fine and I didn't have a problem the previous week when I got a truck there.

Larry Bthis location offered good service - the support team offered excellent service - however the original location created a HUGE extra expense from my pocket as Richard Lanphear did not leave the key to truck I originally rented via the internet, in the box nor any other box (we opened ALL of them) - the only box with keys pertained to the truck already rented by another party. THAT was a big disapointment - but as I stated, UHAUL support lady was a solution person - a 10+ .. please thank her on our behalf, she is an asset to UHAUL company.... M.
