Place was clean, no problems with personnel, but parking lot was crowded with cars so we had a hard time parking the trailer by ourselves due to limited space

Soooo convenient. Literally down the block. After talking to the super nice guy at my drop off location and explained that my pick up location was over 20 miles from my starting location where I needed & wanted to pick up truck. Making me automatically over my allowed miles. But, he told me to call Uhaul. So I did. They quickly refunded any extra miles I was over. (My case was 10). I would definitely recommend using Uhaul.

There was a guy that continued to play the lottery when we were trying to return the keys. The clerk kept putting us off to cater to the man. We needed to leave and it took almost half an hour to get for him to check the truck.

Just a weird location to pick up a uhaul. Otherwise everything was good. Only thing weird was I was told I would have to pay all these extra $50 fees if I used their dumpster for garbage, or if I didn't replace a quarter tank of gas.

I did not have any problems with the point of sale establishment. I had problems with the purchasing and return changes. First I ordered from Hauppauge, then I get redirected to Patchogue for pickup. I understand I was comped 30 miles and an additional 5 for a wrong odometer reading to compensate for this. I told by the point of sale store in Patchogue that I was doing one way with drop off in East Moriches. I know there are locations in East Moriches for drop off but I thought maybe they needed a truck in Center Moriches as my sheet said Center Moriches. During my move, the location for return changed and became Manorville which is even farther, but there was no notification of the change other logging into the app. For a move that I was struggling to keep my miles low, this was quite an annoyance.

Drove 2 hours to pick the truck up and the rental place did not have the truck I reserved. Had to go out of my way another 30 minutes to find the truck I needed! I should be compensated for this. And the service personnel when I called was of no help at all!

Charged my credit card twice and now I can’t get a hold of anyone to get the credit. Had to call the credit card company to dispute the duplicate charge. Never received receipt and when I did the reservation on line I estimated 100 miles but I didn’t use 100 miles but still was charged for all of the 100 miles. Would never use this location again. Moving is stressful enough without someone trying to scam you on top of it

The person that supplied the equipment had the trailer halfway up on a curb. He did not have the proper tools to put the trailer on my car and made me lift the trailer onto the hitch. It didn’t feel right driving back to my house. Thankfully, I went to the nearby smithtown locaction and they told me it wasn’t installed properly and fixed it. Then, I got a tire blowout. The person that came out to fix it told me he was amazed I had gotten that far on the tire and the other ones needed air as well to prevent the same thing from happening!

Reservation for 9:30am at Holtsville. Store's hours open at 8:00. No one shows up until 10:52. During the meanwhile customer service sends me to Holbrook location. Show up at location and there is a line of people and with only one person behind the counter servicing customers. Continue calling Holtsville and finally someone answers at roughly 10:52. Then make my way back to the original Holtsville location to pick up truck. By the time I actually get the truck it is close to 2 hours late. This frustrating situation cost me over $250 for paid help that was sitting around while I was getting more and more aggravated. Will look for another rental company for future rentals

I had a horrible horrible horrible experience. First of all the first customer service rep i spoke with got the location wrong so when they called me to pick up the trailer they told me i had to go at least 2 hours away from my home. I called in because I was confused to find out she put the wrong location. After staying on the phone for 3 hours with no help, calls getting disconnected with no return calls from the rep, long wait periods, being transferred all around i finally got someone 3 hours later who told me they could just credit $50 to the card i reserved with and she said she had a location about 8 miles from Queens NY which was supposed to be my pickup point, she stated they had no trailers left so she told me to go to Long Island, I specifically asked how far is it from Queens and she told me 8 miles. When I went there on Friday i drove almost 2 hours. It was terrible. None of the representatives give accurate information and I feel like i was tossed around. It was a horrible horrible horrible experience, even after getting there I had to go to another location to get a wire because the location i picked up gave me a wire with tape on it and he forgot to give me the dolly. the whole experience was nothing but a complete nightmare. I never want to use the service again, and I feel the reps should be trained better and told to give out correct information because everyone gave me the wrong information which led to nothing but a big inconvenience. i expected better service and feel next time I will just go with another company.
