We returned on a Sunday, and the location was closed - there was almost no parking left for returns, and text I got on returns did not have Uhaul.com/share as the URL and did not have the instructions for unattended returns.Robert D.

If you want customers to have to go through a complex process for turning in a truck after hours (or face a 20 $fee), let them know ahead of time. The current practice is ridiculous. I locked the truck and turned in the keys to a a lock box before being told by a text message that I had to take a picture of the odometer and fuel gauge (by which time the truck was locked, and I had no key to open it).Alan B.
It was confirmed that my Truck rental was due at Nicks at 6pm. The shop closed at 5 so I didn't have any is staff nterface; that said, I really can't answer these questions fairly. While thete seemed an easy process to follow on U-Haul's website to return the Key after hours seemed easy, the UHaul portal had a glitch; that is, when needing to change a password, the OTP code security wise was never sent to me. I needed to call Customer Service. It took an inordinate amount of time to reach them. While, when reached they were great, my wife and I were to have dinner; as I just got home with the truck, this was inconvenient.Thomas C.

I returned the truck and auto transport to the designated location. I waited 5 minutes to speak to an employee who told me to leave the auto transport attached, then walked away. I left the truck where they indicated and returned the keys. I now have a fee for returning the auto transport late. This is impossible considering the truck was attached to the auto transport when I dropped it off. I have to say this is quite possibly the worst experience I have had with any company, ever. I cannot think of another thing you could have done wrong. The lack of organization is staggering. I am almost impressed by the incompetence of your system. Employees are rude, unorganized, and unknowledgeable. The truck was dirty when I received it. You managed to improperly charge me both before I received the truck AND after I returned it.Ryan K.
There was a leak in one of the tires that was not addressed by the shop and one of the guide railings for the door to trailer was in poor condition when I got it and was completely unusable before the end of the rental periodEric P.

All of the Uhaul personnel I dealt with were great. But the reservation system leaves much to be desired. I reserved a month in advance and was rerouted to a location an hour away on a day's notice, and then got a call to say I had to pick up even earlier than planned because the system had the wrong hours for the pickup location. I had no problem with the U haul itself or with the pickup location. I've been really happy with the service so far and it's a lifesaver for moving. But on Wednesday when I was picking up my U haul, my app crashed during the check in process, and once I opened it back up, I wasn't able to keep going with the checkin and said that the U Haul was already checked in by me. This was a problem because the U haul was lower than the 3/4th line in the fuel meter, and I wasn't able to show that in the app. I did take pictures of it before riding though. I ended up spending over 50 $to fill the truck up even though I had only driven 25 miles. That basically doubled my moving cost and was definitely a disappointment with the whole process, and an extra stressor during this crazy moving period.TAREK Y.

Love the location and the truck. The mobile check in and mobile return of truck took forever. I spent at least 40 min to check in and another 20 min to return the truck. That was a terrible experience.Heesook P.

The location is convenient but it is very unclear where rentals can be left safely without blocking roadways or other equipment access. There are signs threatening to charge extra if you do something wrong, but no guidance as to the right ways to park equipment.Christopher L.

The truck cabin was a bit dirty, with mud streaks on the inside door panels, and some sort of dry spilled drink all over the center console. In addition, the roof over the driver was stained with another sloshed liquid. It wasn't THAT bad, though. It was usable for a pickup, but it showed that they didn't care to prep the vehicle nicely for the next customer. The location was really bad at night, with just one lonely exposed light bulb to light the whole outer parking lot, and lots of mudholes with water in them, which was not pleasant to step in in the dark while trying to check out the vehicle. It kind of spoiled the experience, to have one 150 $hiking shoe filled with muddy water from the puddle. (The replacement will cost me just about the same as the rental!) The lack of light made taking the required photos almost impossible in that dark, lonely environment, and it took me a half hour just to pick up the truck, because they kept saying the photos were not adequate. I've rented at various places and returned at night, and never had I experienced such darkness, mudholes and water puddled all over in the dark areas, uneven pavement, cement curbs to trip over, etc. This place might be just fine in the daytime, but at night it was a very dark and unpleasant experience for me when having to take all the pictures and trying to see the defects in the body of the truck in the absolute darkness.Richard V.
