Clean the truck couldn't see it the front window with all the bugs. Don't tell us we have to be at the location at a certain time and not be able to get the truck. Why should you have to fill out all the information again if it's done online. Not a smooth experience for us instead of being ready at 745 like we were told had to wait until 8 am when the store opened to have the employee not be in the store because he was outside doing something else. Had to wait 15 minutes in the store. Didn't get the truck until 830. Was disappointed for sure.Michael N.

Got the uhaul with a quarter tank of gas, check engine light on and flat tires, needed to have uhaul back by 3pm. Returned at 3pm and was okay with paying the gas needed to fill back but was charged an absurd amount plus to find out anything lower than a quarter was an automatic surplus on top of what was being paid. Incredibly surprised and not what I expected. Would rather just hire a moving team with what I paid.Spencer N.

Make sure to check tire pressure in the vehicles on the checkin. I had to fill my tires up with my own money because they weren't filled before.Anissa C.
Sandra had attitude. She could've told me WHERE the numbers were on the truck, but didn't. Also, the numbers on the key tag were ILLEGIBLE. There was a small exhaust leak in the cab, the shocks, struts or leaf springs were failing. The brakes needed replacement. Awful experience.Kendall F.

Both the pick up and drop off locations were fine. I was very suprised to find that the truck didn't have cruse control. I was glad that I only had a 2hr drive; but highway driving in 2022 without cruse is like using a land line telephone.CARSON W.
Get your Computer system an app to work properly. It took an hour and a half to get checked out of the Ace Hardware. I had a message to that it was a different location and then my bill was 10 times the original price. When I went out to check on the vehicle it had a major scratch and then it would not allow me to load a proper photo updated photo. The truck was fine the whole process was one hot mess.James B.

easy to get to and pickup/drop off. The rental agent was great to work with and knowledgeable but the store staff were not invited and helpful to get me to the right person. The truck had a coolant leak that we noticed in the driveway overnight after packing it up the first day. We had a service tech come out which was great but had to empty the truck, take it back, pick up another truck about 30 mins away, and then reload everything. This lost us about a full day and had additional costs with unloading and reloading. When I checked the coolant level i was surprised it was so low and not sure how it was missed in preparing the vehicle for my pickup. Glad we caught it as we had a 1200 mile move to make.JOHN S.

Why are you so focused on the location when U haul itself is a hot mess. I rent fairly often and you are continuing to go downhill. Get your online check in process together or add more customer service reps. Your app is known to be horrible yet you have to call in for help and wait 50min. Done with renting Uhaul . This last experience was final straw. If I could give a negative 10 review I would. Meanwhile Ace is a great store and you make them look bad for renting U-Haul. SadJason S.
The truck I picked up was an incredibly old vehicle. It also had not been cleaned, and there was still trash left in the cabin. I documented this using the Uhaul app on pickup, but was still charged a $25 cleaning fee for someone else's trash after my rental. Poor experience!NATHAN R.

I reserved a 10 ft truck a week in advance. When I arrived they did not have it. Ended up getting a 16 ft. Was way bigger than needed and hard to manuver. I was told I would only be charged for 10 ft but was charged for 16ft. I had this same problem 10 years ago using U haul.Kathy B.

The employee had to call the manager at home to learn how to rent the vehicle. They didn't have the vehicle I reserved. The one I received had check engine light on ran horrible. I spoke to the manager who advised me to tell the employee who handles the rentals and he didn't seem concern about my issues with the truck and told me the Uhaul is responsible for maintaining the vehicle. The only person who knew what they were doing and appreciative of my business was the manager Christine.Jason P.

Clean the truck! Cargo area was sticky from something that visibly spilled, jack was loose in the back, garbage in the center compartment, crumbs all over passenger seat, steering wheel was sticky. Gross! Clean the truck!Ethan K.

The maintenance panel above gas tank in back of truck was wedge into place and not bolts back on. I stepped on it not noticing it was not put on properly and my foot fell through scrapping the side of the gas tank cause extreme swelling and cut. Was forced to get a tetnis shot and x-ray donepaul T.
