Maintain vehicle. The drivers door kept popping open while driving. No windshield wash in reservoir. Once I got to my location had issues with transmission & reported everything when I returned vehicle. Allow more mileage, got detoured & spent a 1/2 hr on hold to get more mileage.Robert C.
The trailer was infested with ants, but since they close at noon I was stuck with what I got. I had to bleach it clean as I was moving furniture, but I didn't get them all. I now have to sanitize everything I moved. Terrible experience.Alfred B.

Wouldn't answer the door. Went to another Uhaul location, they said just drop off the key. Tried calling Uhaul 3 times for drop off, couldn't get through. But for me the location was great so I didn't care about my other complaints.Kevin C.

worst customer service ever.. not the "digital location" fault. simply no customer service, 30 minutes on hold with U-Haul... 10 minutes on phone to be told I had to upload again my license to get some "code " even though I did all that 4 hours before on U-Haul. com.. Got disconnect 3 times. took 1 hour at the location ... had to pay movers for the 1 hour lost... horribleDean S.

Please please please let renters know IN ADVANCE that you need alternate phone numbers and those people must answer the phone when called --- immediately! That should be listed in the instructions sent to us prior to day-of pickup. Otherwise the mobile phone pickup worked well.Andrew S.

There were 3 "estimated cost" figures listed on my contract ranging from about 64,00 $ to about 84,00 $, despite the fact that the actual rental of the truck was only 19,95 $. I was charged 84,71 $, DESPITE the fact that I returned the truck with more gas than it had when I picked it up AND it was driven fewer miles than I had estimated in the contract!!! Left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding your practices.William B.
The lock on the box where we were supposed to pick up the keys was broken (doesn't open). Fortunately, the keys had been left in the back of the truck. Doesn't seem very secure for one of your trucks!Ken W.

I UNDERSTAND WE'RE IN A PANDEMIC, BUT THERE SHOULD BE SOMEONE ON SITE, I WAITED 2 1/2 HOURS TO PICK UP A TRUCK AND I GOT BACK A LITTLE LATER, MY WHOLE DAY WAS SHOT TO HELL. I DON'T LIKE THE ONLINE SYSTEM WE NEED PEOPLE TO HELP AND THEN RETURNING TRUCK IT CAME WITH A MESSAGE SAYING CARD DECLINED, THAT WAS THE PROBLEM FIRST THING THIS MORNING & THEN ON A RETURN, RIDICULOUS.Robert W.

this was the absolute worst experience ever! Not only was I moved 3 times after I made my reservation when I showed up to the final location they didn't have a truck for me! I had to go to another location completely out of the way. You people need to get on the same page when it comes to reservations. I had hired help because I was moving and they ended up costing me more money because they sat around waiting for me while I went on a wild goose chase while you tried to find me a truck! I would never recommend you to anyone who needs truck rental.Sherri A.

I received the truck in a state that was not clean. I've used U-Haul many times before, and this was the first time I rented a truck that was left dirty in the front seats. I was then charged a cleaning fee by the drop-off location which I did not appreciate.Carolyn R.

There was endless (almost two hours) confusion and delays in getting my vehicle. Finally, when we DID get it, we realized we had found a better moving solution and returned the van less than three hours later with0ut having used it, yet were charged for the full day. The online dropoff was having errors and didn't work. I sat trying to do I for over 30 minutes without completion due to the website. It needs to be fixed or figure out an alternative method. Also, dropoffs after hours when having uhual rented equipment in the truck can cause issues if there are no locks provided. If the customer uses their own lock like it is currently operated, it's their inconvenience to go back and take it off for the uhual dropoff when it is open. Basically the system is flawed and should be more catering to your customer if you actually care about them. I did not have any issues with any of the pickup or dropoffs spots, just software and procedure.Kegan D.

U Haul s computer systems are antiquated and extremely slow. My reservation was relocated to another U Haul site without my knowledge. The original location did have a truck available however. But I would have been forced to another town if this were not the case. I have had this happen in the past as well. I am considering alternatives to U Haul in the futureEDWARD B.

The pickup location and service was excellent. The original order.. a one-way U Haul trailer (two weeks in advance) was not a good experience. The original order.. one way U-Haul to Florida had No Availability locally and the closest was 50 miles away. After a few phone calls to 1-888 U Haul, I was told that the actual pickup location will be within 48 hrs. of pickup and I was lucky to find a trailer locally. An understanding of terms (within 48 hrs. of actual pickup) would have been helpful to understand at the time of the original order, this would have saved me some aggregation, that is the only comment, thanks U Haul.Douglas H.

I returned the van at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and had expected the store to be open. It wasn't. There was no posting of hours. I was able to return the van and keys using the online procedure, but it would have been easier if I had known when the store was going to be open and closed.Susan R.
