Not professional set up at all. no signs marking it is in the gas station, clerk at the gas station didn't know what he was doing. Had to wait like 30 minutes for the other guy to come. Couldn't add another driver. The whole experience was terrible. The location was very convenient to where I was though.Stephen K.
This place rented us a truck with a clearly ailing engine (with a loud knock), and a check engine light on. The truck was unsafe to drive and would sometimes downshift at inopportune moments for no discernible reason, creating unsafe driving situations. The truck's back was open with a bunch of litter in it -- it was clearly not cleaned. The truck was not safe to take on the freeway. I ordered the truck through the U-haul website, and it completely got all my selections wrong. It thought I selected self-checkout, and rented a van, but I did neither -- I wanted to check out with th attendant and wanted to rent a 10' truck. This is, by far, the worst rental truck experience I ever had. I will never do business with U-haul again, and will be sure to steer my friends clear of U-haul, as well.Ilya S.

I requested a 15 ft Uhaul at a location very close to my home, when they called to confirm, they said I had to go to a different location. When I asked why, they advised it was because the location by my house did not have any 15 ft trucks available that day, only 10 ft trucks. 10 ft was too small, so I said OK, I will go to the other location. The day came, I drove out of the way to the Uhaul location I was told to go to, I got there and waited 20 minutes, the owner then came over and said they didnt have a 15ft truck only a 10 ft. So I went out of my way, waited around and then got the truck I didnt want. Had I known I could have only got a 10ft truck, I would have just gone to the place 3 minutes from my house. I made the reservation for 7am pick up and location was not opened when the app allowed me to make the reservation. This made me late for the time I need to be. Then the prepaid was charged and after bring the van back the charge was only $42,89 but only credit my husband card $6,73 and did not credit it the other $28.85. So where is our refund?Andrea C.
The 25th street location was absolutely fine and the guys I dealt with were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the alignment on the 26' truck we rented was significantly off, so I had to have the wheel turned slightly left pretty much all the time. This was clearly a known problem, as there were white lines drawn on the steering column to show where the actual "neutral" area was.Tyler P.

It's in the hood. Furniture blankets were just laying in a random shopping cart. No hand trucks available. Customer service was a little sub par. Air conditioning didn't work in the truck. This was also my second attempt at getting a truck, since my â€œguaranteed reservationâ€ on Hanover wasn't honored and the truck I â€œreservedâ€ wasn't available.John P.
I've used this location before but this time the customer service was below average. The waiting time was too long as one person was handling uhaul transactions and other kiosk and I was asked to download the app to "speed up" the process. But alas, this didn't expedite the process as the gentleman wasn't able to walk me through how to use the said app. Should I avoid this location next time?? Thanks!MILOS T.

App was not loading properly for check in process. Customer service rep was not very helpful. Even though I signed up for self check out, I still had to go inside and get the key at the gas station where I had to wait 20 mins for a cashier to provide me with a key with the van cause he was too busy selling lottery tickets. I want my money back. I couldn't even use the truck, I tried to change the reservation for a larger truck and the online platform was extremely difficult and summits two reservations instead of one. The second truck that we got had no gas, we went to a gas station to put some gas in it because I had movers waiting for me at my place and one of the tires were blowing air out. The gas station was close, so we were able to go back. But then, when trying to return the truck through the online platform the link of the contract was showing the miles of the first truck instead of the second and we couldn't close the return. The person inside the gas station that runs the uhaul ended up helping me to close the reservation manually because not the highway assistance nor sales department on the customer service phone line were clarifying me which way I needed to proceed to cancel the reservation and get a refund.Irving P.

This site the truck transmission was bad and when I notified them in person about the problems with the truck they just looked at each other as if they already knew and then looked at me. Then they turned around and charged me over $300 for the rental when the initial fee was $156 not to top of I had to use there gas station to put gas in the truck that was empty. Then the sent me a email of receipt with one amount but charged me a different amount and look like someone tried to sign where I didn't. Also they had it had gas in it but it was completely empty and the truck was damaged. I would not recommend. Still trying to get me extra money back..Donurique E.

I had booked the van for 7pm, however the process of picking up the van via the mobile account took us an hour. We were given the wrong keys to our van and were unable to get through to any u-haul representative when we tried to call. This delayed our moving plans and caused a lot of inconvenience to us. Please improve the online pickup process and make it easier for a customer to reach a representative when things don't go as planned so that they are not left stranded not knowing what to do.Vamsi R.

I was charged for for over 12 miles of usage when I only drive 10,7 miles a picture was taken before leaving the facility and when returning. Dear Sirs: The check engine light came on while driving. I also believe the customer service representative is dishonest. I asked twice what was the cost for returning the truck two (2) hours late. I was told on both occasions $20.00. However I was charged $33.95. Had I been told $33,95 I would've kept the truck until 3:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. July 4 I picked up my Usual Van. This location did not have enough people to run the store and service a Reservation. There was one person and took him over 20min to check me out. When I returned the Van there were now two people working the store at first there was one. It still took me 20min to get out. I traveled from that location near lake Clifton to cold spring and back to the location. The man tried to bill me for 39 miles. I only used about 15. 39miles is like Baltimore to Columbia or Arundel miles. He did my receipt over for me to check two days later he still bill me 89,04 in two different amounts instead of 64.05. Also, he put refund in cash when he said it'll go back to my card. He cannot multitask and he is a crook. Find another place to go.Sasha F.

The low tire pressure light was on when I got the truck. I don't think they do much to maintain the truck between rentals because the tire pressure was really really low. I made certain to return the truck with more fuel than it had when I picked it up, but they lied about it on the return paper work and charged me the $30 fuel service fee. The place is a gas station, so I bought gas from them and then the gouged me by saying that I didn't, filled the truck back up with their own gas, and charged me again for it. What a ripoff.Max R.
