online check in process is a step in the right direction but could be made even better. put the key in some kind of lockbox outside the store so we don't have to go into the store....otherwise it defeats the purpose of online check in.

The truck I rented was not clean, when it is empty (no load) it vibrates and moves sideways a lot. When it's loaded it doesn't feel bad. The attention in the store is first class.

Booked my reservation at sunshine self storage in Miramar, and completed an online check in prior which stated I would go to sunshine self storage. When I arrived at sunshine self storage I was told that the location did not have uhauls, despite me having reserved a truck at that location. I went to check online and my reservation said to go to sunshine self storage, and after reloading the page twice then it said to go to pack n ship, which is completely out of the way. So I wasted many miles having to drive over to this other location, and am still beyond confused as to how I was able to book a reservation at a location that does not have uhauls. I also reserved furniture pads and never received them. Safe to say I absolutely will not be using uhaul again.

I honestly got bad service. Everything was bad about the truck I got. For starters, it kept shaking. It also, had bad brakes and I do not recommend anyone to get a Uhaul. It was absolutely the worst truck I've ever drove. You guys should hire mechanics to fix the truck.

I went to first u haul on Sheridan the person was great. She found a 10 ft truck at Miramar and reserved it for me. The stores rented from was great. The first truck AC was not working the person quickly checked it out and gave me another vehicle. All representives where curteous and helpful a good experience thank you

The cargo area of the truck was dirty and had things from the previous renter. Also the passenger airbag panel appeared to be damaged. The clerk who helped us was excellent. Extremely helpful and friendly.

The link on my cell phone wouldn't work for the drop off. Had to call the 1-800 number and talked to 3 people before getting the help needed to drop off.

The initial local where i reserved the uhaul did not have the uhaul when I arrived. I ended up call the 1800 number to get assistance and I was sent to another, larger uhaul location. They had they truck I needed but not the tow dolly. Once again, I had to drive to another location, this time with the truck, to get the tow dolly attached. Overall, my experience with uhaul was not favorable and I will consider another moving company in the future.

Returning after hours is a total disaster! The system could not recognize my location from my phone, nor from my wife's cell phone, both cell phones had the locator enabled. I had to return the next day and it didn't work either ... it was a mess !!!

Customer service sucked i was stucked outside for hours waiting to drop off the truck because the website was down. Then charge me extra because they said i went over the mileage. But I have a photo that says other wise. So not only did I not get refunded for such poor customer service but also a extra charge. Never using this place again.

I had to call customer service to change my pickup location to this location because it was 5 minutes from my location instead of the 30 minutes location that I was originally assigned to. When I arrived on at Saturday before 8:30 expecting to do a mobile check-in, I discovered that my mobile app wouldn't allow me to do a mobile check-in. Also, I didn't see a 26' truck in the parking lot so I thought customer servide made a mistake sending me to that location. After making 2 phone calls and 30 minutes later, they called the owner directly who came and opened up her office a few minutes earlier than 10:00 am which is her scheduled opening hours. She quickly realized that their computer system had been down the whole morning so I couldn't have checked in using the mobile app so she proceeded to physically check me in. Therefore, the fault lies with Uhaul's corporate office's customer service who failed to recognize that their software was down (the part that allows for mobile check-in) which caused this aggravation. The problem with Uhaul's guarantee is that they only pay you $50 if they can't find you a truck that day so you're left scrambling to find another truck if they can't get you a truck on your requested reservation day. However, Uhaul has always been able to deliver a truck on the day that I requested.

Thank you very much for all your support. When I was returning the van I totally forgot to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level upon picking up the van. One of the most important pieces of advice that the staff of this store has shared with me is to avoid extra charges, so I went to the gas station put the gas and came back to this uhaul dealer and they could close the contract properly. They are very honest people, I am so glad they mentioned the situation with the gas level. I will definitely come back to this place. Thank you Jaime!

Young man was extremely helpful. The system was not functioning however he was able to figure a way to make it happen for me to execute the rental of the truck. Teach the folks in Charleston, SC how important customer service is. Lost 1100 dollars using a rental spot in Charleston, SC. This young man need to train those folks.

Billing thru web site double charged I had to make trip back to PackN ship location . The attendedent was very helpful tried to fix billing online finally had to call uhaul and go over invoice ,They told her it was fixed and billing would be 1 day rental . Then today Wednesday recieved bill from uhaul still double charging my card recalled Packn ship emailed attendent recept she said she would call uhaul to get fixed so far spent over 3 hours returning this unit due to billing errors, Uhaul needs to fix their web site to make renturns better .
