LEONARDO GA few days before my scheduled pickup, I visited the location to confirm my reservation. I spoke directly with the owner, who instructed me to pick up the truck on Saturday at 2 PM. I arrived at approximately 2:05 PM, but the location was already closed, even though the posted business hours on the door stated they would remain open until 3 PM. I was able to get the keys only because someone happened to still be inside. I was never informed of the earlier holiday closure or that the location would be closed Sunday. I was told that had I not come in earlier that week to double-check, I likely would not have been able to get the truck. Customers should be notified of any changes in hours or policies that can affect reservations. Clear communication is essential. The owner should has informed me of all this. I was really upset and still am. had I not gone in earlier in the week, I would have been left out a truck to move. I am an Army soldier going on deployment and that would of cost me greatly.
Jean AWent in person two days before pickup date to reserve a van. Arrived on pick up date, told office that I was there to pick up van. Instead, was given a 10' truck, even though there was a van sitting in the parking lot. Also, the "check engine" light was on the entire time. Returned the truck 4 hours later - that same day. Two days later, got a call asking if I needed "extra time", since I hadn't returned the truck yet. I explained that I'd only had the truck 4 hours and had personally handed the keys back to the person in the office. Minutes after that call, I received an email with my receipt.
