I could not get the keys in the uhaul. There was a lock on the back that they gave me a code for to gain access. I wasted close to 2 hours making calls and trying to get in. The owner finally came and unlocked it with a different code. She said it was changed and no body told me. It scewed up the entire process.Timothy R.

Had no parking...was told to just park it anywhere, just don't block the street & then give them the key. When I asked for receipt that I turned it in I was told I didn't get one. I rented the truck on a Saturday morning, drove 72 miles unloaded it & turned it in on same day....that following Tuesday I get a call from main Uhaul asking me if I needed the truck for another day or would I be turning it in. I explained I turned it in on same day, the lady said she would call them & have them check the truck in. I later got a email with receipt where I was charged for extra 15 miles.Sandra H.
It was not attended. It has broken glass and trash laying all over the place. It is in a decent part of town but it is so poorly maintained that it feels like the ghetto. It feels unsafe. The pizza guy at the gas station runs it, but he can't help. The process to pick it up was unholy with how brutal it was. I'll NEVER rent from here again and I will shout to the rooftops for all who can hear me not to either.Lorie D.

Had a problem with the U haul app but store personal quickly fixed the issue.stephen S.
I rented my U-Haul for 24 hours on January 20th, starting at 9am. I then returned the U-Haul at 5:30pm on January 20th, well before my 24 hours were over. Then on January 21st at 4:30pm, I get an additional charge from uhaul saying I rented it for an additional day, which is not true. When I call U-Haul to dispute they just tell me all they can do is put in a ticket. I will not be using U-Haul again and would appreciate if my money would be returned since I was wrongfully charged.Ethan C.
I was miss lead on the pricing . The manager is more focus on the males. She focus on every male that comes into the store. She actually was talking to a customer in the other line, that wasn't renting a Uhaul. She didn't go over the contract. She gave me the keys and pretty much told me . The number matches the truck. Fill up the van on return. Just very misleading. Please if you never rented a Uhaul don't go to this location. They have very poor customer service . When I called back she still wasn't a bit concerned how she mislead me.Jennifer R.

Have equipment reserved by customers & when you don't have it don't throw your hands up & say oh that's just the way it is. I would have expected a call to let me know sonI could make other arrangements. They probably had one but didn't want to lose it for a one way rental. When I called UHAUL corporate to report I got transferred to the local traffic dept & was told a manager would call. Still waiting on that call. It's evident that UHAUL doesn't care about the client experience. I would like all money spent to be reimbursed.Mitchell T.

Have the rep meet the customer at the location and or have the representative properly set up the rental correctly to be able to share with the gas station attendant. I wasted 2 hours at this location before I could get my move started.Web J.

Depending on where you are coming from to pick up truck. I had to drive from New Orleans to Covington to pick up the truck, then to Baton Rouge to pick up move and drive to New Orleans. Cost a little more for gas for my private vehicle. Made reservations 10 days prior and I was told 2 days prior that their were no 26' available within 100 mile radius.rudy L.
Insurance was placed on my bill of $56 which I did not elect online. I did not notice this until after I looked in my email when I got home. No one asked me about it or reviewed my bill with me nor did I sign anything. When I tried to get a refund it has been a hassle with everyone passing me to the next person. A previous U-haul location that we used prior to this was much more professional. I also asked if I could change my method of payment and was refused but did that with the previous U-Haul vendor without problems. Not a good experience this time.Rebecca S.

I ordered the biggest truck with 2 dozen moving blankets and upon getting the truck I was told that they didn't have any blankets to offer me, yet when I checked out online it charged me for this. If I would have known they didn't have blankets, I would have never ordered from this location seeing as blankets were a necessity for moving my furniture and breakable items.Adrian Y.

Make sure customers are taken care of in the order they came in. I got to the store and the uhaul worker wasn't at the store she had to do my reservation over the phone. Finished my reservation over the phone and the cashier had to lock the store to allow me to inspect the truck and get my keys. Customers continued coming in the store so he wasn't able to take me to the truck. About 10-15 minutes passed and another uhaul customer came up the unhaul manager came and took care of the customer that just came in before me. After her was done with the other customer I had to get his attention to come and help me get the keys for my uhaul.Terrence G.

The employees do not care about the uhaul side at all. We brought back our uhaul the day it was due at 9 am. They told my husband they would check it in and we would get an email, I went in and made sure and asked if there was some kind of receipt to prove we brought it back and they said no. I called the next day because we still hadn't received an email and they said they would check it in. I asked about them making sure they put it in for yesterday since we brought it in yesterday. They said they know. We get the receipt and we were charged a late fee, because THEY checked it in late. When I called them they told me it wasn't their problem. That it was our fault we brought it in after hours, how is 9 am after hours? The lady was extremely rude on the phone and blew me off. We got charged a late fee because of their laziness.An N.

The reservation process was extremely difficult. Even with a confirmation that all was in order, at the last minute I was informed that none of the moving aids I had ordered were available. It was suggested to me that I call around to other locations to find these supplies ( dollies and furniture pads). That was totally out of the question on the morning of moving day. The entire process was very trying and I hope that I never have to go through this again.Phillip M.
The process to get the keys for the vehicle is a joke. The only email I received said that I need to go to the location and press pick up my truck. When I did I keep getting kicked out of the website. Then I clicked for help. I then tried to call and was disconnected. Then I did a text chat with and agent when wanted me to verify my identity in this empty parking lot. They wanted me to have a lease or a passport with no prior notice. They called my work,which was closed! It was ridiculous and took me almost an hour ti retrieve the keys.Tracy W.
The entire transaction from receiving a call from a disgruntle manager named Ashley to confirm changing my reservation to the hour and a half issue on pick up day was utterly horrible. I have been using Uhaul for years and I will never use again. I would like. Phone call to discuss this experience asap. It would be helpful to know in advance that you will be leaving your keys with the gas station cashier instead of a Uhaul employee. The gas station employee was very nice, it was just strange that it wasn't after hours, and there wasn't a Uhaul-affiliated person there. He said that person would come in the next day and take care of everything.Marvin L.

Have an appliance dolly and/or furniture dolly available for the customers to use on 15 ft trucks and larger. People are obviously moving heavy items if they need a bigger truck. On the positive side, I was grateful that this location had 'counter service' on a Sunday.MARIE A.

Online reservations NEED to be in conjunction with ALL locations. This is the second time Uhaul screwed up My reservation and it's no fault of the location but the reservation center that continuously doesn't have the correct information of location. I had a 24/7 share reservation at 8am and when I went to check in to pick up the keys, there was an automated response that said I had to wait for location to open at 9. I was meeting movers at 9 and I ended up having to not only pay an extra hour to them but had to wait for them to leave and do another job and then return to finish my move. This was another EXTREME INCONVENIENCE for me and ended up costing me more than I had wanted to pay. Granted, Uhaul gave me the $50 reservation guarantee credit but that didn't cover extra hour I had to pay OR for my lost time!!! Personally I think they should have offered to pay for entire rental, which was less than $100 and pay for the extra hour I had to pay movers because of their inconsistencies. I most likely will not use them in the future.:(Casandra M.
