A dolly and shipping blankets were inside the truck when I picked it up. I did not pay for a dolly and shipping blankets to be provided by Uhaul. I had to work around the dolly to not break the tamper seal and it took up space in the truck I could've used.

UHaul representative added Safe Move without authorization when reservation explicitly waived Safe Move. She did not return two voicemails requesting refund of Safe Move. She provided only 11 furniture blankets with reservation of 12. When I returned for additional blanket, she gave me look of being put-out and disgusted with me. Highly recommend you avoid this location.

Fix the leak in the roof of the truck. It rained and some boxes were ruined and some clothes got wet. In addition, the lady that works and handles the U-Haul trucks at Peacock was very rude and not professional. This was not my choice of pickup locations. You changed it.

Truck broke down after and we had to wait for service a long time running oir travel plans and doubling our costs. The prepaid equipment was not in the truck at pickup and when we to return the next day to get it from an office worker the furniture dolly was still not given to us. Hi rates, bad maintenance, ZERO customer service and no discount or apology for the breakdown.

I reserved this truck amd trailer at one price and by the time I went it to get the equipment it was way higher than quoted and I couldn't afford to walk away because I needed to move that day. They had me drive to multiple locations for the truck and trailer even though I booked over a month in advance they didn't have anything I needed at the location I requested and have to drive back and forth over an hour to get the truck from one location, go home and load it, get my car from the first location and take my car and the truck to another location to get it loaded. They tacked on extra fees out of no where and was just a horrible experience. Will never use them again.

Do not recommend. The attendant spoke to me horribly. A paying customer shouldn't be spoken to in such a manner. Had I just put key in drop box I would not have been charged. She added a cleaning fee of $ 25 and the truck was returned in the same condition I found it. Terrible people on both ends. You should waive late & cleaning fees to redeem yourself. Called UHaul and they wouldn't. Seniors have no place in the UHaul world. Bah humbug.

Chevron staff completely refused to assist in any way with my drop off. Very rude. In addition, staff closed store 10 minutes before advertised closing time.

This location is a gas station/convenience store. I found the experience of dealing with them to be much less professional than when dealing directly with a U-Haul facility. Also frustrating that they did not have a utility cart that I had ordered and had less than the number of blankets I had ordered. I had to go to another U-Haul facility to get the utility cart.

Flat dolly was missing. Glad staff person was there to help as parking can be a bit tricky. But overall worked out fine.

Peacock Chevron is an excellent location for our drop off site. They are knowledgeable and helpful in many ways. Discussing prices with us. Where to park. Dropping off keys etc. This location serves as a drop off and pick up. Ut is not a full service location.

Excellent, professional service. Easy to use and filling up the return was easy since the location is a gas station. I also use Peacock Chevron for my Uhaul needs in Covington LA. You should also.

Back of the truck was dirty lady I rented it from had a attitude problem it may seem minor I messaged her can I park my truck in your parking lot while I rent the truck for 5-6 hours she reply's no sir you can park it in the back with the other trucks which is fine just dont need the back talk im asking a very direct question I want a respectful response not someone trying to lure me into a argument. I do not like doing business with people like this I go to pick up the truck she's angry I'm late saying uhaul would cancel a rental this late. I had paid for the truck why does it matter if im late i explained I needed for less than one day.

I would call this a tale of two employees… the Manager Corinna was absolutely AWESOME! She did a great job assisting me and trying to make the best of a poor U-Haul App experience. However, the drop off employee that night was disrespectfully rude and acted as though it was a total inconvenience to get up from the curbside smoke break and assist me with returning the rental; then when asked what his name was, he stated "I'm the closing person" in a very condescendingly tone. Then after having to ask him three more times for my records, he reluctantly told me Jay. Comment for Jay… After such a long day moving, the last thing your customers want is to deal with an arrogant, rude individual. It would have taken no effort at all to say "thank you", how was your experience and have a great day… and my name is Jay. Then this review would have been Exceeding Expectations instead of 50/50!

Worker in this location was very short with us whenever we needed help. Made the experience uncomfortable for us, and overall just made the already stressful day of moving much more stressful.

Drop off location on side of Peacock Chevron was overgrown with grass and weeds and low tree branches, drop off box not easily identifiable, but overall not horrible, it is what it is, a truck drop off station.

I could not get the keys in the uhaul. There was a lock on the back that they gave me a code for to gain access. I wasted close to 2 hours making calls and trying to get in. The owner finally came and unlocked it with a different code. She said it was changed and no body told me. It scewed up the entire process.

Easy to get truck; truck in great shape; location itself not well maintained; appears to be closed warehouse/car service location; trash, broken glass, and old cooler laying around; I got truck through self service portal so didn’t interact with anyone

Don't take me wrong I like U-Haul a lot. I use your service quite often but this location is really bad . The creek at the store were nice is just I guess the person in charge of your business is never available for anything.

Had no parking...was told to just park it anywhere, just don't block the street & then give them the key. When I asked for receipt that I turned it in I was told I didn't get one. I rented the truck on a Saturday morning, drove 72 miles unloaded it & turned it in on same day....that following Tuesday I get a call from main Uhaul asking me if I needed the truck for another day or would I be turning it in. I explained I turned it in on same day, the lady said she would call them & have them check the truck in. I later got a email with receipt where I was charged for extra 15 miles.

It was not attended. It has broken glass and trash laying all over the place. It is in a decent part of town but it is so poorly maintained that it feels like the ghetto. It feels unsafe. The pizza guy at the gas station runs it, but he can't help. The process to pick it up was unholy with how brutal it was. I'll NEVER rent from here again and I will shout to the rooftops for all who can hear me not to either.

I rented my U-Haul for 24 hours on January 20th, starting at 9am. I then returned the U-Haul at 5:30pm on January 20th, well before my 24 hours were over. Then on January 21st at 4:30pm, I get an additional charge from uhaul saying I rented it for an additional day, which is not true. When I call U-Haul to dispute they just tell me all they can do is put in a ticket. I will not be using U-Haul again and would appreciate if my money would be returned since I was wrongfully charged.

I was miss lead on the pricing . The manager is more focus on the males. She focus on every male that comes into the store. She actually was talking to a customer in the other line, that wasn't renting a Uhaul. She didn't go over the contract. She gave me the keys and pretty much told me . The number matches the truck. Fill up the van on return. Just very misleading. Please if you never rented a Uhaul don't go to this location. They have very poor customer service . When I called back she still wasn't a bit concerned how she mislead me.

Have equipment reserved by customers & when you don't have it don't throw your hands up & say oh that's just the way it is. I would have expected a call to let me know sonI could make other arrangements. They probably had one but didn't want to lose it for a one way rental. When I called UHAUL corporate to report I got transferred to the local traffic dept & was told a manager would call. Still waiting on that call. It's evident that UHAUL doesn't care about the client experience. I would like all money spent to be reimbursed.

Have the rep meet the customer at the location and or have the representative properly set up the rental correctly to be able to share with the gas station attendant. I wasted 2 hours at this location before I could get my move started.

There was no one there to help, had to call numerous times just to get in the vehicle and it wound up taking between 45min to an hour just get everything fixed.

Depending on where you are coming from to pick up truck. I had to drive from New Orleans to Covington to pick up the truck, then to Baton Rouge to pick up move and drive to New Orleans. Cost a little more for gas for my private vehicle. Made reservations 10 days prior and I was told 2 days prior that their were no 26' available within 100 mile radius.

Insurance was placed on my bill of $56 which I did not elect online. I did not notice this until after I looked in my email when I got home. No one asked me about it or reviewed my bill with me nor did I sign anything. When I tried to get a refund it has been a hassle with everyone passing me to the next person. A previous U-haul location that we used prior to this was much more professional. I also asked if I could change my method of payment and was refused but did that with the previous U-Haul vendor without problems. Not a good experience this time.
