No one was available to check us in & I continued to receive email saying rental was never returned.!!!
ISABEL KThis was not my original location, not my requested truck size and it was added driving distance. The truck box was had dirt, garbage and leaves in it. I needed to sweep it out. The blankets I had in my order were not available.

Michael MThe backdoor was very difficult to open and close. The guiding rails were rusted, obviously missing regular lubrification. The external mirrors cannot be adjusted I booked a 10 ft truck but was given a 20 ft, in a different location. The 20 ft was way oversized, much less comfortable to drive and much less gas efficient (8 miles per gallon).

tracy CContract and invoice were not accurate. Garbage from previous renter in van and cab, no key drop box, took over a week to get contract closed. Now disputing charges which are triple what they should be.
Maureen CThe Uhaul rep asked us where we would be dropping off the truck and we told them 1810 pharmacy Ave and even though we returned the truck the night before the truck was due was charged an extra $40 daily rate. Also the rep told us we could bring the truck back 1/2 full of gas which we did and yet we were charged for 6 L of gas. This rep needs to be retrained and we would like the additional charges reversed.

MIMA DThis was the location I had requested, however I received a notification to return it to a Princess St Kingston location, which was a considerable distance and time out of my way. I had to call the dispatch office to get the drop off moved back. This took a lot of extra time.

anmol sWith more than 30 days notice, uhaul failed to provide the original 26 ft truck, that was requested and offered a 20 ft truck. On the day of pickup, I arrived at location to find two 26 ft trucks. That made me angry. My reservation included an appliance dolly that was also not on location to fill my reservation. I felt lied to and felt that uhaul did not act in a professional manner. Never again

PHIL HService rep on the phone from the office (not the person at the pickup location) wasn't very good-- she called me the day before and told me that my order couldn't be fulfilled as entered and that I would have to return the truck to my original pickup location, rather than nearer to my move site. She offered no refund or discounts, even after I asked and expressed my disappointment with the service and short notice.

Mike LI showed up and truck was covered in dirt and dirty blankets inside. They stated fuel was 1/2 and was only 3/8. Responded with oh just take a picture of it. Dealer would stop transaction while dealing with people in variety store to purchase pop. I finally said you need to finish my request and not deal with anyone else. There were two others staking shelves. Went to another dealer who provided me with a tarp and was to call regional rep and give my number. This location broke so many of your rules. Should not represent you

Dana BThe 26 foot UHAUL truck only has a 24 foot box. The "granny's attic" does not count into the length of the truck. When people talk about a 26 foot truck, they mean that the floor is 26 feet long. Each foot of length is assumed to contain about 56 cubic feet of space. The tactic of naming a 24 foot long truck as a "26 foot truck" is extremely misleading and downright dishonest. To improve this, I would suggest being honest about the product.

FATIH SEasily the most incompetent, half witted uhaul experience I have ever had the misfortune of being a part of. From the start things were off, and they just kept going down hill. When I arrived to pickup the truck I waited about an hour, while the rep typed away into the uhaul laptop, I then (due to broken pay system paid $100 cash, was handed the keys, no contract signed, no receipt, no rental agreement, no dolly, no insurance. I explained that I need an insurance slip, and rental agreement incase I was pulled over, and was basically told I'm all set, and good to go. I then had to drive to the Princess st location in order to pick up a dolly, of course being billed for extra km, where when I arrived, adding a service dolly to the contract was an impossible task as there was no contract. Then today, when returning the truck, I made it very clear I would not be paying a check in fee, the rep then proceeded to check me in, declared my balance was $136, and was unable to provide an explanation on how the cost was so foolishly high, I was then asked to wait around again for an alleged manager who would arrive eventually, I was refused the option to pay debit, due to a broken machine, and left, I can not stress how unbelievably poor this experience was. If there was any saving grace in this entire experience of renting a truck, being blatantly over charged, having my time wasted, being put on the road with no insurance, contract, anything, an empty tank, and an engine light on, it was the Professional conduct of the Princess St location The Staff, and supervisor who worked quickly to make sure I got road legal, and had offered amazing customer service.
jason sI had booked a location that was closer and convenient for me to pick up a truck for over a month, but at the very last minute, my pick up location was changed to this location. It is far away from town. The rep didn't make an effort to specify which 26' truck I was to make use of. Also, I never got a heads up that the truck had little to no gas (1/8), until I signed the contract. Very disappointing, especially considering I was going to drive to another city. The particular truck I got consumes way more gas than normal. It's not the first time I've driven a 26' truck, so I know what gas consumption should typically be like. The rep never explained to me that I was to get the fuel to 1/4 level as I was given a 'fuel credit'. I saw this in the contract while I returned the truck at another location. I had returned the truck with the same level of gas I picked it up with, and I was charged the so called 'fuel credit'. What a way to rip customers, when it clearly was never me who used up gas. So why charge another customer for a previous customer's issue???

Brigette FLocation was poorly organized and rude, I had ordered the truck and pads a month in advance. I had even dropped in the day prior to picking up the truck to ensure all was organized, only to be told they could do nothing till the day of pickup and that all would be well. On the day of pickup there were no moving pads with the rental, and told I should just take the truck without pads as there was nothing they could do..took over 2 hours to finally get the promised pads and truck.I had even had to call UHaul customer service which also not helpful as the only one that was able to fix the problem was unavailable. I have rented 100's of trucks and have never been treated with such disrespect. Steer clear of this location if you want your move to go smoothly. This location could not even give a printed copy of a receipt as there was no ink in the printer, total Mickey Mouse operation. There incompetence put my whole move into Jeopardy.

MARIONJACLYNN MCould not check engine oil, dipstick designed not too come out ? Picked up with 3/4 tank of fuel and brought back with the same amount, i think U-haul should specify each vehicle to be full of fuel and brought back full of fuel. I needed to refuel before i even arrived at destination.
Robert GMaybe keep an appliance dolly and some moving blankets on hand in case someone needs to add that to their order.
