CHRIS S.I called U-Haul about the return date. I was scheduled to return the truck on June 26, but I needed it through the 27th. I called U-Haul and talked to someone who said I could return it on the 28th. When I brought it back, I had to pay for an extra day because that location didn't have any record of that which ended up costing me an additional 57.00.

Sachin P.I feel the cost per day after the mileage fee made it pretty expensive. Hertz offers a cargo van for a flat fee w/ unlimited mileage for half of what I paid. I believe I will use their service if needed from now on.

JOAN B.Turning on the AC there was a smoke and vomit smell. After driving and blowing out the ac the smell went away. I fixed it Also I was charged an extra ten dollars a day for insurance when I was told I didn't have to pay the extra ten dollars
jill J.I returned the truck same day. I was charged for 2 days but the location was quick to get the difference refunded to me. In the future if they could be sure to process the return correctly, that would be fantastic! I've never had any other troubles with them prior to this one incident.
Gildo B.My only issue was that when I went to turn in the equipment the same person that I spoke with earlier and was taking care of Uhaul was the same person who told me Uhaul was closed later when I got back.

Pierre L.Nothing! The drop off location was an Ace Hardware store, in Brooksville FL, to where I just moved. The staff was wonderful: helpful, kind, knowledgeable and welcomed me to the neighborhood!
JOYCE O.Store had no idea how the rental process worked, as it was my first time with it also, it was quite confusing, but thankfully I got to store just before they closed because idk wh we re the key would have been. The truck floorboard was dirty with sand, which wasn't a big deal for me because I was moving stuff in the back of the truck, but when I parked it after my travels I had ants I had to vacuum out and spray as if there was food in it somewhere. Other than holding for 26 mins for the store to answer me as to whether or not the truck was ready that afternoon before I drove down to pick it up that evening, and then finding 6-8 employees were inside the store when I got there just hanging out, it was ok.

SUE J.truck was unsafe. almost caught on fire. called multipe times to anyone involved with uhaul to address the problems i had with nothing resolved. i was able to reach Becky from customer service payments on 6/29/21 and she started a customer action and Ryan Hagerup,field manager was to call me within 3 days but did not. linda S.Employees have no idea how to attach or detach trailers. 1hr for them to hook it up and 30 mins at the drop off before I got out of the truck and unhooked it myself because the kid working said we bent the chain and he needed boltcutters... I just shook it and it came untangled for removal, no bolt cutters needed. Kid manhandled the trailer instead of using a jack, he's a liability trying to lift a 12 ft trailer himself.

Brenda K.Both times no where to drop the trailer. On hold for 30 minutes to reach a representative on the phone to confirm. Once dropped I was charged two extra days because it was four hours late. I'd been told one day two hours earlier. Used Uhaul because it was a covered trailer. Will probably use my own and tarp next time. Don't appreciate the extra day for four hours without being informed.
