I reserved a 20 footer and was called and told that they only had a 26 footer and they would charge me the same price for the 20 upon pickup i was given the price of the 26 footer and a drop off time of saturday at 5. I was beyond irritated at that point because not only was i paying more than promised i was also now rushing my move. i dropped it off saturday at 540 pm and got charged a whole extra day and a late fee and it was basically the same price i had already paid once im not happy with the way you money grabbed from me and my family im not happy with the lack of communication in your company and im demanding a refund of this 'extra day' charge because last i checked a day is 24 hrs i had it for 40 minutes after i was supposed to drop it off and that would just be considered late.

The staff is more then happy to help whenever you have questions or forget your passcode :) I held a 10x15x10 for over two years without any issues from weather or critters. If I ever need a storage unit again I know where to go.

Went over each page , filled in the highlighted areas and before I left the site I had an email show up with a copy of every page attached for my records. Fast accurate & friendly support. The only complaint I have with the storage unit I rented is the roller garage door needs to be replaced. It was very old and hard to open and close, as it felt like it wanted to come off the track. Seems like someone could have pushed the bottom of the door in if they really wanted to get in my storage unit. I liked that there is a security gate/cameras and I could access my storage unit any time, so the rest of my experience with the rental was great, especially Jenna.

Paul M.This facility was poorly run. The only time anyone came outside to meet me was when they needed something signed. Otherwise I stood outside on a 95 degree day registering on my phone! This office could not even print me a receipt. They told me to call the 800 number and to add insult to injury they called me back with a receipt after I already had it from National 800 number. I wouldn't ever use U-Haul again!!!

JEFF L. | Expérience généraleEmployee was helpful and able to get our reservation done. They did not have the furniture dollys I paid to rent, got a refund for those but NEEDED them. Online checking was not working for myself or the couple ahead of us. Office isn't actually open to walk into so we stood out in the heat. Thankfully drop off online worked because the employee closed up shop at 3pm, locking the door just as we were parking. We would have been charged fees of online drop off hadn't been working. We used this location due to another in town not having a large enough truck. Probably wouldn't return to this location unless absolutely necessary.

Terry L.I was auto pay so never late on payments, I accessed the unit very rarely and abided by every rule. I live next door to the business and i have dogs. The Manager of the unit brings her dogs to work with her and my dogs bark at her dogs. I was told once my dog wandered over to the unfenced area of the property (since then I put up a chain link fence) the Manager labeled my dog as viscous ( she is NOT ) for no other reason I was evicted by the Manager with no explanation so I can only assume the reason was personal. The Manager even went into my file and got my phone number to call me on a personal matter I never gave her my phone number to use as a personal contact number. She had it only because I was renting a unit. Yes the place is clean and well maintained but the Manager is power hungry. I have heard many stories of her power abuse but won't share because those were not my experience.

DAVID C.Had difficulty making reservations, girl at office finally came out and used her phone to complete, went and hooked up trailer and came back to office seeking guidance on the trailer. The person at the office then chained the hooks in a manner I had not seen before but she worked there so I left them, but when I questioned what the chains in the middle of the trailer in the front and back were for I was told to leave those alone and just use the tire webbing tie down. I thought that was strange and left. I later called my nephew and asked his as he had used Uhaul to haul his car many times and he said that the chains are to be used to tie down the vehicle, he lives several hundred miles from me so I could not go and have him show me and check the chains to make sure there was nothing wrong with them and thats why the employee said to not use them. I call this morning when returning the trailer and the ;person said to be sure to put the trailer back in the same spot and when I went back to the area I saw that there were two open spots and another space that had diagonal lines painted across the pavement. I called again because I didnt want to put it in the wrong spot and have to be charged 30 for placing it incorrectly and the person on the phone said to put it in the area with the diagonal lines painted, I would have thought that someone would be available to show a new renter the ins and outs of the use of the trailer so no mishaps will occur, ultimately I was not comfortable trying to haul a car on it not knowing why I was told to not use the chains so I returned it the next morning as stated. When I finally parked the trailer I went back to the area near the office and called again to ensure that there was nothing else that was needed and that the trailer was indeed in the right spot, got an answering service and was never called back.

DAVID C.I will never rent from this location again. because they were closing early, they are normally open until 5PM but were closing at 3 that day and I returned the trailer at 4:30 the next day they charged me for an entire extra day. Had they not closed early I would not have been deemed late. when asked about this they absolutely refused a refund for that extra day I was charged. I had to take it up with corporate U-Haul. which I did and finally got a refund.

Michelle K.I would never recommend this place to anyone. I was told to move out no exceptions no reason and on top of that Jenna put us on a do not rent list which is slander and is Illegal. This location is a joke and none of the employees are nice they're rude and don't ever get off their butts to help or manage anything. What this place did to us was completely unacceptable unprofessional.

Shelley D.Last day of contract: November 4, 2021 I was notified on November 1st that I was no longer welcome and will not be allowed to rent a space there next year because I did not communicate with the office. When I paid invoice on October 4 they did request I notify them when I was removing boat for the season. On October 20th they called upset and spoke with my wife that I had removed my boat and didn't notify them. I hadn't removed it, I was out in the river with my boat fishing. I did remove the boat on Wednesday, October 27, and didn't remember until Friday night that I needed to call. Believing the office was closed on the weekend, I was going to call on Monday. Before I made that call, they called me with the notification I was no longer welcome. My wife called back to try and understand what happened. She was informed that the contract entitles them to do that because i didn't communicate with them and the space had been emptied for more than 8 days. My wife tried to correct that information that it was only 4 days, 2 of them the weekend and was told the call would be ended if she didn't stop talking over the storage facility representative. I don't know the name of the person making the telephone calls on October 20th and November 1st but the number is 810-385-7110. In a final attempt to try and understand what happened my wife called the location office 810-985-5300 to speak with Jenna, who set up the contract with me. The person who made the original calls answered the phone and said Jenna does not want to or have to talk to her and she hung up. I still don't understand how or why I was treated this way and my wife spoken to so rudely. I was within my rental period. I paid my bill every month on time. I didn't cause any trouble. What happened? By the way, there is not 24 hour access as advertised and printed on my uhaul order confirmation. I had to wait until 6 AM to get through the gate. Thank you. Fred Reiter

I have no problem filling up the gas (which I did above even the level it started with) and obeying all the other rules but the mileage stopped me from doing some things I needed to do. Other then that tho excellent customer service and equipment.

Full tank of gas, cleaned to the exact was in which I picked it up. Also, I ordered the van to pick up in Saint Clair, and drove there and the store was closed, so I had to drive back from St.Clair and to to Port Huron, which Put me behind on my schedule.
