The dealer is a one man repair shop. His facility is cramped, but he had what we needed and the drop off of the trailer was easy.

There was no place to park the truck and the place was closed. When I went to pull in, I couldn't pull the truck in enough to get off the road. Luckily another customer was returning his truck and was able to guide me back out of the parking lot and helped me park on the side lot. This was so difficult and frustrating. On top of it, I couldn't find a number to call for help from U-Haul.

I received my invoice and found that I was charged for the insurance that I had declined while making the reservation. I dropped the trailer off Sunday and it has it being returned Monday. I will be reaching out to customer service about reversing the charges for insurance  other than the inconvenience of having to reach out to UHaul, the trailer served us well.

Rude staff and very little room to maneuver in parking lot.

The location is small and filled with vehicles. There was barely enough room to pull in our Honda CRV. Our reservation included 6 dozen blankets and when asked about them the owner's response was a sarcastic "good luck". They didn't have a single blanket so we had to find them at another location. Don't recommend this location.

I would not have this person sell UHAUL rentals. Very rude to us and another person there. Not a good business person.

We never interacted with anyone, just used app. We did not go inside but basically it's a garage so no expectations or judgment; it is what it is.

Unfriendly staff. Upon arrival worker was working in the garage with his music playing loud that he did not hear me enter his shop. I tried calling out to him numerous time before entering the garage to locate someone to assist me with the rental. Once finding him he was irritated that I entered his garage work area and told me I should have yelled louder for him. After giving him the information for my rental, I signed the signature page in his phone and he handed me the keys to the uhaul. No walk around the vehicle with him to make sure everything was ok, or to assist if anything was needed. He just walked off back into his garage. The uhaul truck was dirty in the cab with broken hangers, empty spring water bottles and general garbage. The storage compartment area was dirty and not swept with broken screws, shelve clips and more broken hangers. Very disappointed and will not recommend this location for uhaul or for anything else. Never had such a poor experience with uhaul as have had here.

The location owner forgot to leave the key for the truck. We could not get him on the phone and had to wait on hold for 20 minutes to get through to customer service. When I explained the already frustrating situation to the rep she walked me through the instructions on the app like I hadn't just told her there was no key. We wasted almost two hours on a day when we needed to stay on schedule and the owner has yet to reach out and apologize.

Michael was fantastic; although his service center was closed on Labor Day, he still came in and set us up. He had to problem solve some issues, so he was further delayed and still figured things out for us. Great service - great guy.

The website said his hours started at 8:30, but he said he opened at 9:00. He was there at 8:30 anyway.

The drop off location advertised that it would be open, it wasn't. No one to answer a phone. The site was unorganized and gave the impression, externally, that it was a shade tree garage with dilapidated vehicles, car parts strued all over and did NOT give the visual references that it was a safe and viable return or drop off location for the U - Haul franchise. And then I was charged 30 bucks to leave the motorcycle trailer. Ridiculous.

Mike shop was closed by the time I got there plus it was on a Sunday so didn’t interact with anybody but drop off was super easy.

Small auto repair shop, but the owner is very knowledgeable and packs a ton of Uhaul trucks and trailers into his location. If you need anything Uhaul related...he's got it!

Not only was the location not staffed, but U-Haul attempted to charge me for an additional day. Fortunately, I don't trust any company except the one I work for and took a time-stamped photo of the truck when I dropped it off (which was before the agreed-upon drop off time). What a racket! Won't do that again...I'll rent from Penske next time.

No one was available to process rental for almost an hour after my reservation time. Person who was at the location (not a U-Haul worker but the only person to meet customers) was extremely rude.

Great experience! Michael was very helpful by quickly attending to the reservation and the trailer's attachment to the vehicle. Drop off was also quick and the paperless processing was problem free. Overall, an outstanding service result from start to finish! I'll certainly be back! Thank you!! Thomas

Mike was great and super helpful. When the original truck I had reserved turned out to be too small to fit what I had to move, Mike was able to get me the next bigger truck.

This was an easy rental. The truck was available when needed and the reservation was quick and easy. The only issue we had was that somehow the rental got canceled after we returned the truck and I was not billed. I contact MIchael at the shop and he was able to easily and quickly resubmit and bill me. It was very easy and friendly. Merci.

Very confusing location and little or no area to pull in. Location was not organized or clean. However the rep was very helpful and immediately came over and took care of the drop off.

Location was dingy at best, and the guy who runs the place doesn't really care about customer service (it's a garage that rents out U-Haul trucks. Just imagine an oil rig worker staffing the front desk of a Hampton Inn). Also, I DID NOT sign up for the "Safe Move" coverage, but I guess it 'snuck in' when I was signing the form on a small tiny screen of an iPhone. It was SOO hard to see the screen that you just wanted to get out of there. That was an extra $15 that I wasn't planning on spending. (The total mileage used was less than 5 miles!).

The location looks like a junkyard, there is absolutely no parking, and the trailer smelled like oil and grease and was dirty. I had to broom out and air out the trailer before using it. The trailer itself was fine. The business owner also damaged the bumper on my brand new, 1 300 mile vehicle while attaching it. If I thought I could actually get anything done about it, I would have contacted someone to have my car fixed. Uhaul's trailer was great, but they might want to rethink their relationship with this business.

It was a mechanic shop and the man seemed annoyed that I interrupted him. He didn't have much to say except that I'd get a receipt from uhaul in my email.

Get better locks or use some wd40 on them! Took nearly 1/2 hour to pry it open. Lot so full nowhere to park. My truck was at an old Cumberland farms across the street in an unmarked parking lot. Visually the place was real run down & no covered area to work on opening lock. It was torrentially raining & I got completely soaked. It was awful. Broke 2 fingers nails trying to open it. Lock was like cemented shut. I thought I was given the wrong code. Lost service. Just awful experience & will never self check in again.

We had problems with using the app to return our trailer. Our cell phone reception was poor, and it was Sunday so there was no one there to help. But it seems that U-Haul was understanding about this issue and did not charge us $20 for being late.

Mike (he never said ?) at Portland Street Service Center has very poor communication skills - barely speaks. Location is dingy and run down. After a few brisk grunts for information, he handed me the keys and pointed to the truck. After seeing there was evidence of previous damage, I returned inside within 2 minutes to show it to him, but he was nowhere to be found - he had driven off on an errand. His helper was nice, and we both took photos.

At this location, ONLY ONE PERSON was able to process our UHaul pickup, and he was absent for over 45 minutes when we were trying to get the truck, and had a schedule to keep. We have used three other UHaul outlets relatively near to us, and they each seemed to have someone at the desk who could process the pickup, so waiting was minimal. Of course, if this is the only outlet with the equipment available, I would use it again, and recommend to others. Other than this issue, I have no complaints with them.

When I reserved at my location, which I picked there but gat a call to puck up further away and wasn't impressed with that. But all worked out.

Truck was mechanically not fit for use. Started hard and fan belt screeching. Unable to use AC on 88 f day. Customer Service unfriendly and not helpful.

Allow you to upload a picture not require you to take a pic in real time when you drop off. It will have a timestamp so you can see it's legit even if it's an upload. I had gone around and done all the pics required and then had to do them again because app did not allow uploads. Just a pain. But not the end of the world.

Fix your website/app! Please!! Sometimes drop off is nice and easy, take my pics, submit things, and its done - other times I have to try the app a few times, spend time on the phone, call in, and talk to someone... and it takes a lot longer than just dropping it off.
