The guy that runs the uhaul place at 803 north university drive is a scammer. He wrote down incorrect mileage. He said I went 46 miles when the place I took the uhaul was from my house to the storage unit which is not even 2 minutes down the road. He is a terrible person, and I absolutely would never recommend anyone go there again. Worst experienceBRANDON C.

The truck was unclean. It was smelling bad in the car door hair and I found a cockroach inside the car. It was not good condition there were damage and Scratches. I cleaned myself and my wife and I have prove of everything pictures and Video. The rental pick up has another trucks but he doesn't. Want to give me when I ask him the good one. Don't have them waiting. I was so disappointed with the service, but there wasn't anything that I could do except wait. Don't go back and forth with the customer if l say l need a code, that's what l need and they (U-haul) is telltale l don't. I am the one at the locationâ€¦not you.TINA L.

Did not have the dolly or furniture pads I had reserved and paid for. Did not confirm my truck the day before as I had been told they would because the business was closed. I had movers waiting and had to call around and search for a location that had pads, then drive over and get them across town. I don't understand why I was not notified that the location I reserved did not have pads. This delayed my move. The man at Precision Auto Clean did not seem particularly concerned with my problem. The place I found the pads, Blaylock Storage, was far more prepared and well stocked for u-hail customers.Carrie N.

Maintenance of vehicles!! The unit i had the AC was not working. Drove 300 miles one way in the rain with humid temps that caused the windows on inside to fog up. The 300 miles back was miserable in the heat of the day.GILBERT MADRID R.

The trailer I rented had a semi bald tire, but my rental time was at closing time. I didn't mention the tire and the following morning while loaded and driving to Little Rock I had a blow out. I had to change a tire due to poor maintenance in the rain. Also the local service center was over two hours away, so I managed to find another U-haul rental center that pulled a tire from one of their trailers to get me back on the road.MICHAEL R.

When I booked the uhaul the uhaul trailer was 43 $. When I picked it up they charged me 48 $. I had a cooy of my reservation for 43 $for 5Ã-8 trailer but the man in the Nacogdoches store(had to talk on phone from our truck) told me his computer showed 48 $and if we wanted to wait for him to help the 2 people behind us in their cars he would get back with us but couldnt promose he could get the 43 $rate. I had a screenshot on my ipad showing the 43 $. When I booked it to return in Humble it said - save 5 $to return in Kingwood. Way further from our house but I did it to save 5 $and then when we pick it up in Nacogdoches we get charged the 48 $. When I have a copy of my teservation showing 43 $the amount should be honored by the location charging for the rental. Tammy and Robert ParrROBERT P.

COVID19 preventative protocols, staff did not wear mask or gloves when handling equipment. I ask the person about, he still didn't do anything different. So I had my own sanitizer and Lysol to spray and disinfect truck.Rhonda C.

This location is also a carwash and unfortunately gave very poor customer service, especially by the manager of the company. The website allowed me to rent a dolly, when I arrived they said they didn't have one. They have COVID rules which is great; however, in speaking with staff and management they were very disrespectful and rude over the phone causing me to say several times that I didn't understand their attitude when I asked questions to something unknown. When I gave concern about giving my full credit card information over the phone again I pretty much was dismissed and told "we are busy, do you want the rental or not"...very rude for a manger. I work in customer service and at no point in time would I ever be too busy to give good service to every consumer, especially when representing another company! If that location cannot handle servicing the workload without friendliness and answering questions without being rude, they should reconsider being a U-Haul location or get better management who knows how to equally service customers properly. I would never use that location again! Your best U-Haul location so far is on Stallings Drive. It is further out in town but by far a good representation of your company!Daphne C.
