Customer service is really big for me, I don't need the red carpet treatment but at least be friendly with your customers. The gentleman that assisted me seemed like he didn't want to be there. The U-Haul is associated with a Storage Unit, I got off my friends car and I didn't know my friend was waiting by the gate that goes to the storage unit. The guy behind the counter says "what is your ride just going to sit there blocking my gate entrance " I said sorry and I went to tell my friend to move. He could have said "can you tell your ride he can't park there because he's blocking the gate" . Then when I went to drop off the U-Haul truck I parked it in an empty space, he came out to inspect the truck and said "why didn't you park the U-Haul in the space you took it from" I said "I'm sorry I didn't known I had to, I found an open space that was easier for me to park in" (2 spaces down from original spot". . He than said "I told you when you left to park it in the same space", lie he never said that. I said "oh I'm sorry I didn't hear you say that" he than proceeded to say "yes you did, I told you at the counter". At that point I got upset and said "well if I must have to than give me the key and I'll move it " … he's stood quiet for like 2 seconds and said "you can leave now, I emailed you your receipt, I'll move the truck" I went to this location because it was down the street from me, next time I'll just drive a little further down so I won't have to deal with people who have no customer service skills

The Truck was too old to drive when press brake, but didn't stop at all. That's why drove very slowly. So, I have bad experience with this Truck at all.

ANSLY BOnly thing I would say is when we were loading our furniture I noticed the front passenger tire was very low. My neighbor has an air compressor and was able to fill it with air. I called the following morning to let someone know of the situation because it was to be used again the following morning and I wanted to be sure it was safe. The whole experience was great. And the attendant at the desk was a great help and very customer friendly. Kudos to him. Thank you so much for making my move a success!
DEBORAH FI selected a different location because I already saw bad reviews on yelp regarding this location bec of their rude worker named Jose. The next day U-Haul informed me that only this location had the equipment so I didn't have a choice. I was hoping not to have a bad experience, but the reviews about this guy was all true. I thought he would be nicer Since I was obviously handicap With my limited movement and oxygen, but He was Still very rude. I don't know why this guy is still employed in that location with all the bad reviews and complains that have been posted about him.

Martin NI told the representative. I want to rent the truck for two days. I guess he thinks I need the truck only for "today". I stop the U-haul around 2:00 PM, and I need to drive from Los Angeles to Palm Springs and back. The receipt says I need to return the truck the same day at 8:00 PM. Please bring your brain when you work here. Need to pay additional fees because the agent doesn't care about this job. Drop the truck in the U-Haul place, the agent told me I needed to park the car where it came from in a very mean way. We come here to pay you to provide the service to me, we don't need that attitude. If you don't like the job, get another job, please. I have been served at this address: U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, 600 S Garfield Ave, Alhambra, CA 91801. Try to get a service in another place, please.

Jimmy GBetter customer service. When I was trying to get a truck they told me to make a reservation online before I could speak with him. When I called to ask if I could keep the truck longer the person who answered Jose was very rude told me no because he guaranteed it to someone else. What excuse I wanted to give the person who made the reservation after being threaten with fees. I told him it's fine I still needed it I will bring it in. When I returned the truck on time the only thing said to me were keys and you can go now.
Rogelio Athe representative at the location did not have great customer service, I would look to replace or reprimand this employee who makes the great U haul company look bad. The employee had a bad attitude the whole time we were there. He was not helpful one bit. I also got charged 21$ for the pads, the employee there could have called and I was going to return the 2 pads but since I was not called this morning to return them I got charged, I actually had to call the location about returning the pads but the employee had already charged me 21$ for the 2 pads I forgot. Very terrible service will not recommend to any of my friends and will look elsewhere for my moving needs. This is for the employee at PSA Self Storage in Alhambra.
cecilio NThe truck " squealed " everything I accelerated immediately after I got it. I brought it back after driving 2 miles and the worker was on break( which I understand) so I called the 800 number and the woman basically said she could book at a different location even though I was looking at another truck and wouldn't help me see if that truck was available and then said I had to wait for the worker in the hot 90 sun, no shade. He thankfully came out at 20 min. He told me if it was causing issues with the engine I could still drive it. I said no because if a belt breaks while I am driving I will be stranded. Then he said just take the other truck but did not give another contract with the mileage written down or look at the gas tank or damage which I did. I insisted he write it down so he put in the back of my contract i. Pencil without initials or his signature. Very loosey goosey. It took an hour and a half for me to get the truck. I was very unimpressed with the entire process. Also when I wanted to add my husband I asked the guy if we could do it online and he said no he had to come in. That was not true and I found that out myself by calling.

ming tHonor your reservation and have the reserved truck available. Wheel wells inside the the truck are extremely impractical. The drop off process is not user friendly. The truck was dirty throughout. The staff at pick up was initially rude and was not helpful. This will be the last time I use U-Haul and will advise anyone to avoid this poorly run, inefficient company. It's clear that truck inventory is kept intentionally low and that there are no trained employees to offer any customer service.

Joshua SI set up reservation as always for the business with one of our drivers as the pickup/driver. Apparently the person was rude to him as he did not have the company card (why would he)? We have never received the final charge bill and they insisted it be all under his name (even though I ordered/paid and my email)???? I am not sure why we have seamless pickup at other locations and this one as they didn't know us were rude? A phone call to me directly could have maybe helped, but if you have problems with the designated driver pick up it should be stated on their site? Anyway rudeness can be avoided we are all stressed.

We have rented with Uhaul numerous times over the years and NEVER had an experience with the Uhaul staff as we did this time. I used this location because it was close. But I would rather drive 50 miles, then go to this location in Alhambra again.! Stay away from this place!

Kin CThis location was terrible. No one was available to assist at 10:45 though they were open at 9. I was able to check in online but had to get the keys from inside. Finally, someone answered the door and stated he could not assist because he was on a conference call. I had to beg him to give me the keys. The Uhaul had an obvious transmission issue, and I was very concerned about driving it. We also rented 3 dollys that were not provided. Upon return, he called me after dropping it off and stated that he was going to charge me $150 because the gas was low. He stated it had a quarter tank but it was very close to E when I picked it up.. He threated that if I do not return to fill the tank, I would be charged a lot of money. Honestly, I felt very uncomfortable with this person and will never return. I plan to file a formal complaint. I did not pick this location and was assigned it without my consent.

Jose HThe young man at the facility was rude, he didn't explain anything to me. I assumed the dolly was in the truck something told me to pull over and check. No dolly and truck I had to drive back to get it. When I looked at the fuel the paperwork said it was a three-quarter tank put the fuel gauge showed me 5/8 of a tank and when I told him. He asked me why didn't you get the text message. Again nothing was explain to me. It was very frustrating and I didn't like being talked to as a child. He could've been a little bit more friendlier. He didn't know my situation and what I was going through. He needs to be more sensitive towards the customers. If I ever need a U-Haul I will definitely not go back there

Zhimin GThe gas gauge is not accurate and I ended up putting a lot more gas than I should have into the tank. I was told to top off. I drove 22 miles and I'm not sure how I ended up needing to put 5,2 gallons of gas into the van.
Vivian GThe person at this location said that he works for the storage and not uhaul and his attitude stinks, and the process to return is he van is a pain in my -- it takes longer to ck in the vehicle other locations do it quickly and they stay open later. The creating an account with a pass word takes too long and we use it maybe once a month. The counter clerk gave us a dirty van and when he said he was going to clean it he yelled out a spray bottle and shot it on the wind shield and a couple of other places and ok now it's clean but the whole vehicle was never washed. The young man attitude sure is a disappointment and will never return there again.

I ordered a 9 feet van at 8am and when I got there 8:30 it I couldn't pick it up on line and had to wait for an hour with my helper. There was a person in the office and refused to help until 9:30 even after the customer serviced talked to him on speaker phone.
