The "24 Hour Truck Share" option turned out to be terribly inconvenient. I received an email confirmation with my reservation but it wouldnt show up on my app. I even went by this Uhaul location in person the night before my rental b/c I wanted to make sure that everything was OK and set for the correct time- and they assured me it was. The morning of my reservation, I was unable to check-in via your Uhaul app, I had to ask for assistance and call your corporate number who finally said theres a "glitch in the system" I was an hour late for my work day because of this app glitch.

I was desperately searching for a rental and the attendant at this location managed to get me a list minute reservation. I booked the cargo van originally for 2 days, but then extended it again, then again, then again. Each time I spoke to someone on the phone they were friendly, informative, and courteous. They always emailed me promptly after we'd hang up the phone. I really enjoy the customer service and attention to detail this location provides.

The internet at this location was so bad they couldn't get the reservation system to load on their computer. So to try and speed things up they used their phone but the connection was bad. The entire check-in process took about 40 minutes.

Please get rid of the stupid and barely functioning online checkin and check out system. It takes like 40 minutes and discriminates against people who don’t own smart phones (minorities).

Due to slow systems it took 15min to process and get the keys for the truck. I arrived back at my apartment to load for my move when I got a call telling me that I was given the wrong truck. I go back and was given new keys, again to the wrong vehicle. Finally I get the correct truck I ordered and start my move a full hour behind schedule. Terrible experience.

The only thing I can say that should be done different is for them to have more dollies on hand because I needed one for my reservation and they were out. With that being said, I was running behind because of weekend train issues and they held my reservation for nearly an hour. They were also kind, explained everything in detail and efficient with getting me set up and out the door in under 10 minutes (without me inputting any express checkout information online). I was supposed to have a four hour reservation and return it by 12 noon. I didn’t return until a little after 1pm because I was moving alone and didn’t have a furniture dolly, and they were very understanding and didn’t give me a hard time or charge me any late fees. If you’re going to rent a Uhual, do it from this location. 5 stars across the board. More dollies would be appreciated but that doesn’t take away from the experience.

I used the app to rent the truck. There are quite a few steps to go through. The location was helpful and made it easier with the pickup and drop off. If you decide to go through app/website be sure to have a two forms of identification

No dollies available at the location though I rented them via the online form. Attendant said he would remove from reservation, but did not and I was charged for it. Please refund me the $14+tax. Thanks.

They don’t know how to speak to people . Original when I made a reservation I told them 6 hours however when I got there I told the guy to make it 12 hours I don’t know what happened. The next morning someone call saying I need to bring back the truck so I was tying to explain the guy he kept cutting me off and wouldn’t listen to what I have to say this is not how a business is supposed to be run I am working in customers services for 5 years I know mistake can be made and customer can be rude but if a customer is explaining to you what happened take your customer into consideration cause we let your business run no matter what then they charge me $98 dollars again this is ridiculous never ever I will go to this location again and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this location am sorry but this is crazy.

Wtf is up with the after hours fee in a 24 hr location? I went to return a van 15 hours early at 9pm but there was a fee so I ended up returning it in the morning and you didn't get your van back early. Isn't having a van back early at a busy location worth more than $20 to you...? Plus it is open 24 hours....

Where to begin... My experience was a total nightmare from start to finish. Will NEVER EVER use any UHAUL EVER AGAIN. Want to know why? Reserved vehicle wasn't available at local location ON hold for 40 min to send me to this location over an hour to get there and back (2 hours in the day spent driving there and back with $50 cab ride) No truck so had to get van (couldn't do in one trip but didn't have time to do two trips) Didn't have dolly, hand truck or blankets. Reponse was... oh well? Had to spend $160 on new equipment Was a total disaster. A 4 hour move took 14hr and cost $250 more than expected. Total Dis as ter..... NEVER AGAIN!

This was such a horrible experience, I was supposed to pick up at atlantic ave, and couldn’t find my truck (it was parked far away from where you said it was). Then I finally found it and was told on the app to get the key from the service agent, but my reservation was at 6 and this location closed at 4. Why would you let me make a reservation at this time at this location if there wouldn’t be anyone there? You need to update your algorithm so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else because that was ridiculous and so stupid on your end. Or, you should install a lock box at this location so that I could have gotten my key without an attendant present. I called the number and was told to go to the malcom x location. Again, due to poor communication on your end, that attendant had no record of my reservation or that I was transferred there. By the time I finally got the truck, it was an hour later than the time I was supposed to get it. This was very frustrating. This is a horribly managed company. I will NOT be using uhaul in the future when I need to move.

It did not appear that anyone had checked and cleaned out the truck before presenting it to us for pickup. We had to wait for someone to sweep out the back of the truck and there was an almost-empty beverage container on the floor under the passenger seat. The truck was particularly noisy at times sounding like something was dragging behind it so someone might want to give it a good look-over before renting to another mover.

Low-keyed, congenial reps who answered all my questions and were not at all pushy about adding things to what I wanted. The van I rented was practically brand-new. Great service! I checked out moving costs to move my daughter a few blocks. Most companies wanted $800-$1500. I purchased a round-trip ticket from Chicago for $150, rented the U-Haul 9' van for about $35 total, and got the job done for under $300, including food, airport parking, etc.

The staff at this location were so nice and helpful! However, using your app to pick up the vehicle was a HORRIBLE experience. If it were not for the nice staff at the location the experience would have been completely unacceptable.
