Ask about the vehicle and any maintenance/trouble items. I had to bring it up to the man at the counter, and he didn't note the feedback. Gentleman at the counter, however, was very helpful. He was willing to waive half of the mileage charge caused by equipment unavailability in Iowa.
Transmission going out on truck
I had trouble figuring out that the lockbox on the gate next to the storage units was where keys were held, but that was kind of on me. Maybe be more clear on the mobile site that it's the lockbox in front of the building? Overall super easy to pickup and return.
I don't know how it can get any easier. Did check in/out on the ap. U-haul worker at Queen City helped me get some pads. Extremely courteous and helpful.
Truck reeked of smoke so we febreezed it.

The online check-in does not work effectively and has security questions/needs that are not required when you check-in in the store. This caused a 30 minute delay because I had to wait until the store opened to pickup the truck.

Larger sign for the key drop would be helpful
They were closed when I made the drop off. Also, there was no visible sign stating this was a U-Haul drop off location. I only knew by seeing other trucks there.

Not related to the dropoff location but pertaining to the scheduling department. Initially I had scheduled a dropoff at a location very close to me. When I reviewed the contract at my destination, I saw that the dropoff had been changed to a location across town. I called to change it and spoke with someone named Evan in the scheduling department. I explained the situation and asked if we could change it. He was extremely rude and dismissive, and basically told me that I was out of luck, had to drive it to the new location because there was an booked rental there, and that it wasn't his problem and that I would just have to deal with it (I'm paraphrasing from memory, but the gist and extreme rudeness was there). After much calling around and working with other members of U-Haul, I got it straightened out, thankfully, but my experience with him specifically was terrible. I hope it was just that he was having a bad day, but he didn't even try to help me work it out, and I expressed several times that driving a trailer and 26 foot truck through downtown Cincinnati was not something I was comfortable with. Thankfully other members of the staff were helpful and we're able to work it out.

Very nice and professional. They were very understanding regarding the multiple dollies and used blankets that were left in the truck when we rented. They were quick to send a contract and process the drop off

Customer service was quick and polite
They initially "lost" my reservation, and someone that morning had picked up the truck I reserved. But the rep kindly got me another truck - a larger one but he only charged me the same price as the one I reserved. All in all it worked out really well and the rep was nice and helpful, easy move.
I RESERVED A FURNITURE DOLLY BUT THEY DIDNT HAVE ONE WHEN I WENT TO PICK UP THE TRUCK.tHAT SAID THE LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SERVICE ORIENTED.
Check engine light was on in the van. Didn't bother me and I didn't note any engine problems but it may be concerning to your next customer.

Vehicle was cleaned, dash had low tire pressure warnings on, plus warnings to check air pressure.
Everything about the rental went smoothly. The agent at the U-Haul location was very professional and helpful. The truck was in surprisingly good shape considering it had more than 100k miles on it.
I have no issues with this location. I should have never had to go to this location. I specifically requested a location by my home, I made the reservation there, asked 3 times if I would be picking up my truck there and was assured that was the case. Yet, the day before I was supposed to pick up my truck, Uhaul changed the location of my pickup. When I went to that location #2, they said that they did not have my truck because a truck wasn't dropped off there (even though there were 3 other 10' trucks in the lot). So Uhaul made their problem my problem and sent me to this 3rd location. At location #2, they said that someone from Uhaul should have called me to let me know that my truck wasn't there. I did get the truck I needed, but because Uhaul is incapable of managing their trucks and reservations - the process was complicated from start to finish.
There was no one there despite it being within business hours. The name of the location given was different that the actual building.
Area was poorly marked, with not great signage and google maps took me to a different location. Trucks were parked in a completely different location than night drop slot - took me time to figure out where keys are dropped and more issues with the app and customer service.
Better communication between location and reservation department.
Service was great! Friendly and efficient! My only “issue†was locating the place, since Uhaul is in conjunction with another business it was a little difficult to find the place.
We do not live in the Cincinnati area but found this convenient to our drop off and an efficient process.
My location was changed from what I initially booked, and then less than 24 hours before my move the new location called to push back my rental an hour. When we went to get the truck there was an oil light on. We checked the dipstick and there was literally no oil in the truck. We alerted the attendant, but he didn't have any oil or service ability at all at the location. We tried to ask for another truck but they didn't have another one for us. So we had to take the Unserviced U-Haul to a gas station and take care of it ourselves before going to meet our movers, for which we were then late. Since we booked them for a set amount of hours, I was then charged extra by the movers to cover the time I spent SERVICING A U-HAUL BY MYSELF. I'd never come back to this location.
