Improve?? Here's a few tips, Confirm the ACTUAL pick up location so the customer doesn't have to freak out while being told their reservation doesn't exist, and the truck they reserved is not available to rent at said location. It should not be your customers job to track down their "confirmed"needed equipment the day of pick up. Make sure the Uhaul vendor has their phone system set up so the transaction is done in a timely manner. The clerk was using her personal cell phone to contact a Uhaul representative. It was a long process to get the reservation finalized. Make sure the truck is fully inspected for damages, clean and " road worthy" at time of pick up. Don't inconvenience your paying and loyal customers by making them wait nearly 4 hours into their scheduled "moving day" after your company sends roadside assistance to change a tire that has a screw in the sidewall AT YOUR PICk UP LOCATION! Instead of providing them a replacement truck which was available at other locations nearby, you lock them in to waiting for a tire replacement only to mention after the fact that you can't get them a different truck because roadside assistance was dispatched and the reservation cannot be cancelled or modified. If a vehicle can't be driven off of YOUR lot, find your customer a replacement truck instead of inconveniencing them with their one way, out of state rental!! Make sure the reserved moving blankets are available with their rental AS RESERVED so your paying customer doesn't have to drive to another location after being inconvenienced and put behind schedule for nearly 4 hours by YOUR company! A repair that could have been easily remedied by providing a CONFIRMED available rental truck that could be driven off another Uhaul vendor lot in a matter of minutes vs hours! Make sure your field managers actually contact your disappointed customers who want some kind of compensation for bad experiences such as mine was handled. Instead of saying they called, left a voicemail, and shockingly CLOSED your customers report without actually speaking to the customer! Thanks FRANCISCO! Your call is NOT in my calls list or my voicemail. Had I possibly been out of phone service range, you decided to close a complaint without speaking to me. You represent UHAUL, is this protocol?I've reopened my case with Uhaul and am still waiting to speak to you. I was told by customer service that a report number would be emailed to me regarding my complaint. Unfortunately, by end of day, I've yet to receive that email. Your company needs to prioritize your customers needs and respect their time. My experience could have been handled so much better, and more than likely would have been by a few other rental companies.
Marcella GMy movers that I hired canceled last minute and I was able to rent the vehicle I needed day of and make my move happen still. Renting the u haul was easy and everyone was friendly. I am glad they were here for me in a pinch! Merci encore!
Joshua CMy pick up location was changed 3 times. The last change being an hour before pick up. At one point when the lady called me we got disconnected and she literally cancelled my reservation. Thankfully I called back and rectified the situation. When we did pick up the U-Haul there were no signs showing us where to go. Once inside it was very uncomfortable that it was also a sex shop. So the overall experience was not great.
Steven BMore on uhaul then this location, I had to go to 3 different location to even pick up a trailer. A time consuming and frustrating way to start.

Rena RDrop off site was easy And was. basically an empty lot. I did not interact with staff. I use the app to drop off The trailer. I don't think I'd rent (pickup) from this place, but it was very easy to drop off. Thanks to the app.

Lisa HThe truck was filthy the windshield the mirrors, no matter how many times I said, can you please clean the windshield the gentleman just laughed at me. I would not recommend this location at all they were not prepared nor were they ready for us to pick up the truck wasn't ready at all. It was still attached to a trailer which the gentleman did not have the key to had to go. Have somebody cut the lock off for us to take the truck?
Julie SNice people, but I had to hook up without any help. For me, I have to drive by a closer location to get to Quick Stop. I gave U-Haul plenty of notice when and where I wanted to pick up the trailer. This is twice you all have done this to me.

Elora OIt's what you expect renting a trailer from a liquor store, so trying to get the trailer was a headache because the clerk had to close the whole store down so he could go out and get the trailer. I don't blame him, he did offer me a soda on him due to the wait but just not the best business practice. When I got the trailer it was not the one that was previously intended but the clerk said he would change it in the system because the one I was suppose to get was all the way in the back. Makes sense okay and when I returned the trailer at my destination it was not changed so that was a big ordeal and caused unnecessary confusion for the UHaul I people.

Paige CI scheduled a drop off location close to where I moved and got a call the day before saying they couldn't take the trailer at the original location and only had one other location to drop off at. It was 30 minutes in the opposite direction I needed to be even though there are numerous locations in town.
Seth SIt is a liquor store in an unsafe neighborhood, the person in charge had no experience and had to be receiving support from someone else on the phone. I explained to him about the poor condition of the truck and he did nothing. That's why I had to call the 800 number, that truck could cause an accident.

Christine QWe had a lot of issues. First we had issues with the uhaul regarding service lights appearing, "service advancetrac", and "Hill start assist not available". The original drop location wasn't accepting any more uhaul drop-off. When we called to get assistance in finding a new location no one was nice to us. Every person we talked to on the phone was rude. There was no assistance in the fact that we had to drive extra miles to get the uhaul amd we tried to bring it to a full tank when got there but the extra distance traveled made it harder to ensure the correct level was returned. If we were close to going over miles for something we had no control over, I10 being closed in both San Antonio and El Paso. The reps on the phone wouldn't help at all and just made it not their problem. Stating you signed the contract we can't help you if you go over miles. We had already requested some extra because for thr pickup location it was 20 miles each way out of the way from where we were loading it. Last rep I talked to just hung up on us when trying to ask for help in getting the new drop off location. None of these problems were a result of our fault and we got treated so badly. I've used uhaual before and I wasn't expecting this type of treatment to be possible. The only people that were ever nice to us was the people at the locations. Road side assistance also took over 30 mins on hold to even answer.
Kenneth PI had an amazing experience with U-Haul's customer service! The representative was helpful and got me the perfect truck. The staff at the location were friendly and made the pickup quick and easy. When I needed to make changes, their team was accommodating and understanding. Thank you, U-Haul, for the outstanding service! I highly recommend them for a hassle-free move.

Awesome customer service!!!! ***Nancy , Eugene , Patty , Raj .*** I rented a uhaul a few times this month , had a loss and lost help moving ..this staff goes above and beyond. ..I would recommend my colleagues , family and friends . I am a permanent customer !! Thank you !! It's nice to know that you can walk in a store be welcomed ,greated with a smile and walk out with one !!

Nakeysha WThis has nothing to do with the liquor store...they were very helpful and Nice! But, the U Haul people on the phone.... omg.. Never Ever Will I Rent A U -Haul Again!! Never! Gueneve was the first Agent I Spoke To, First she was very rude at the begining... then she started to be a bit nicer, once she understood my concern... It was about the pricing, when I calculated it, i come out with it being like $25 off, My Bank Account didnt really have enough money in the Account...after about an hour of calculating... she comes back saying its correct...then she says "its just an estimate" im like, well, its a wrong estimate, the only way to know the exact amount was to send my card through to pay... (Stupidest thing I have ever heard!) But, they did it, and I had to scramble and try to borrow $25 from somewhere in the universe. Then, I texted and spoke to Richard, (the robot) Told him, I needed my Credit Card Info deleted from thier system... . He asked me "Are you sure you want to delete your info? Once we do, there is no way of getting it back? I said, "Thats a wierd Question".. i said, " Richard, I just need my Credit Card deleted from U-Hauls system, now! Thank You!" He said, The system keeps records for 7yrs after that 7yrs it is automatically deleted" By this time, I am pissed off, I was about to ask for his Manager, wgen he said, your request has been forwarded to our Privacy Team, An Agent will be reaching out to you soon..etc. ok, so, why didnt you do that in the first place? Smh Now, back to my payment...still has not been taken ftom my account, im just so done with this!!! Done!

Karly OAbsolutely the worst Uhaul location that I have ever been to. Uhaul directed me to the location after switching my drop off location. I arrived to turn my rental truck in prior to the 8am turn in time per my contract. However, the location is in a liquor store and does not open till 9;30 am and they do not have a key drop box. After multiple frustrating calls to Uhaul, I left the key on the tire of the rental truck and departed the location. The location is also not secured--there are open gaps in the fence. Will never visit this location again and will probably never use Uhaul again.
