I was overcharged on my rental. I rented the 15 Ft truck for one day and was charged for 3 days by Rachels Market because the owner was not in on Sunday when I returned the truck to the store and handed the key to the store clerk. I reached out to the location and was told they could not help me. I called U-Haul and the customer service rep indicated it would be taken care of but still have not received my credit.

Was charged for a dolly. No dolly was on the truck. Even told the cashier that there was no dolly in the said truck. Was then charged $100 for missing equipment. Will never spend money there again.

I rented a 10ft truck from this U-Haul location and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. From start to finish, there were several concerning aspects that left me uneasy. I made reservation days in advance, including a hand truck, and encountered multiple upsell attempts during the checkout process. Upon arrival, the attendant's unprofessional approach raised immediate red flags. She used a damaged mobile phone to photograph my driver's license and credit card, and then casually mentioned it's a regular practice of hers. Waiting for an unspecified number to retrieve the key further delayed the process. I reluctantly went along with it, fearing it would disrupt my schedule otherwise. There was no walk-around of the vehicle, no mileage check, so I had to document it myself. Upon reaching my destination, I realized the truck was missing a ramp, and both rearview mirrors were in poor condition. Unfortunately, these issues were in line with my past experiences with U-Haul. Returning the truck was no better. The employee responsible for mileage check seemed uninterested and hesitant to check mileage. Even after my insistence, he only complied after a prolonged delay. To my surprise, the store owner attempted to justify the practice of photographing ID and credit cards, dismissing my concerns. This seemed highly unprofessional and a significant breach of privacy. I attempted to explain that my concerns weren't meant as an accusation, but rather a matter of security. I emphasized that this practice is not immune to theft. However, she responded sarcastically, asking if I lock my phone. After I explained the inconvenience this had caused, including having to cancel my credit card, she scoffed and dismissively said, "that's your choice." It was clear that she either lacks awareness or believes others do. It's deeply disappointing that U-Haul permits such lax practices in customer service. The safety and security of personal information should be paramount, and it's disheartening to see these standards disregarded. This experience has left me questioning whether U-Haul takes customer privacy and satisfaction seriously. In summary, my experience at this U-Haul location was marred by unorthodox practices, lack of attention to vehicle condition, and unprofessionalism. I hope this feedback helps improve the overall service quality.

Actually there is nothing that can be improved. This was the easiest and best experience I have ever had. The location was awesome for me, the Customer service was above excellent, and the return process was quick. I could not imagine it getting any better.

Twice this location hit me with fuel charges that were removed because I had digital proof of fuel level. The location also failed to check in an appliance dolly on my first trip that cause more charges to my payment method. I had to make separate calls and take more of my time to get these charges removed. Luckily a local Uhaul representative was able to help and I can't more highly recommend her customer service. Susan Singh (location phone (856) 910-9121), I believe at the Cinnaminson, NJ location was the help person. Please not that her common sense handling of this situation should be the model that Uhaul strives to reproduce. Thank you, Tim Rehmer

The entire process of renting was dissatisfactory. Doing everything on-line is confusing and frustrating. Picking up the truck the "attendant" did not know which truck I was getting, no explanation of the check of existing conditions of the vehicle, when I did go online the link expired mid way through the process, conditions shown on pick up of vehicle were incorrect in all categories ( it showed no damage on vehicle, a full tank of gas, a hand truck with moving blankets. The truck as received had damage on the box on both the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle, a 1/4 tank of gas, and no hand truck or moving blankets). Upon returning the vehicle,, I indicated to the person the conditions of the vehicle were incorrect regarding damage,, fuel and functionality (hand truck and bkankets). This person acknowledged he knew the conditions were wrong before I picked up the vehicle. The function of the vehicle was okay (engine was rough at times), the turn blinkers on the oassenger side did not work. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and I wouldnot recommend using UHaul to anyone.

Truck was clean. Drivers side door was tough to close and the gas tank was not full. In addition the moving blankets that were ordered were not included and we were not informed.

It took about 30-40 minutes to pick up the truck due to issues in communication at the location. Also, the equipment kept getting low tire pressure after driving for about 30 miles.

I got a 15 foot $29 truck and was completely overcharged I didn't add the insurance or any extras and my bill came to $165. Calling U-Haul to complain and to get these charges reamed.

Park the trucks in front of the store and not on small street behind the store. Make sure the truck is clean and no one is living in the back of the street.

Location was nice, owner was nice but I was OVERCHARGED for time I had truck and mileage used. Someone failed to enter my return properly and I guess I'm being charged for someone else's use as well.

I had my pickup location changed two days before my move when I had booked the truck nearly two weeks prior. Not thrilled that I had to drive 60 miles round trip to pick up my truck vs the 10 I should've.

Reserved equipment in Deptford NJ and was sent to Pennsville NJ to pick it up (32 miles away) ; I wasn't given any notification that was the location till I arrived at Deptford location and was told there . My pick up time was 5pm at 5:06pm I received text to pick up truck in Pennsville. Person at Pennsville location didn't offer any refund only told me to talk to drop off location. Drop off location was very helpful , told me I would get $50 credit .

Scheduled the truck 11-3. When I arrived no one there could give me a key Waited til 11:45 still no key so I told them I would return at 3 still had to wait 40 mins finally got the key completed my move filled the tank returned the truck by 6:40 the same day Thought all was good til I received a bill for $164 for less then a 4 hour transaction. I've called uhaul and have not gotten any satisfaction. Will never and will not recommend

Very bad service at this location. You have on your website that appliance dollies are available. In fact they do not have anything available at this site except for trucks. The lady who runs it has no clue what she is doing. I had to wait a half an hour for her. She never told me that the dolly was not available. I was halfway into my move before I realized it was not there. I had to drive all the way back to the location when she finally told me "oh I forgot to tell you". The place is a mess.

Nothing on the location-however the online process is a mess! I ordered a truck and it offered me a better deal with approx. 175 miles free and when I went to check out it was charging for the full miles without taking off the deal!

Location did not have the truck I had requested. I was never called to rearrange my scheduling. I was not able to complete my move and I had to pay an additional two hours to my moving crew on top of the hundreds of dollars I had already paid only to be told by Uhaul that the movers are a separate entity even though I booked them through their moving platform.
