Through no fault of Radio Grove Hardware, the prior renter of a 4x8 trailer did not return it. I was upgraded to a 5x8. The 5x8 trailer is terrible when empty. VERY little tongue weight, so it constantly beats the hitch and bounces the tow vehicle. Once loaded it behaved perfectly. The one-way trip to load the trailer was BRUTAL - so be aware, you need to bring a couple hundred pounds to put in the front of the trailer during transport.Steven B.

The location was awful no signal could not use the online check in. Which would have been fine, but the sales person in the store was a young very untrained guy, who really was thrown in that position that he hadn't been properly trained for. He was unable to assist me and I actually felt bad for him. I finally had to change the pick up time as a result. I'll never use that U-Haul location again, just terrible service all around.Rebekah S.

The problem I have with this rental was I reserved my trailer in Bedford NH with a confirmation, and got a call and was told I needed to travel 30 minutes out of my way to Raymond to pick up this trailer because they did not have one in Bedford. Then when I picked up the trailer it seemed like my reservation information was not available at this location, and they had to redo all the information into the computer, and then rang it all up different than what I had been promised, so they had to redo it which took another 30 minutes. Then they could not find the return location information in Oklahoma.Brian S.

I called them to check and confirm rates before going there, when I went there employee working there tried to give me the same rate but she was unable and then she realized she might have given me wrong info , she tried for more than 1,5 hours and booked few different reservations and kept cancelling those. Then called her boss(owner of the Radio Grove Hardware) he tried and charged me twice for different trucks and charged me wrong both times and then when I asked to get rates rates promised he started shouting on me and insulted me , started giving me bad words and asked me to leave store in extremely bad words (can't even type here). I spent more than 2 hours when this should have been done in 5 minutes and then I was treated like I was asking truck for free or some. He was extremely and unacceptably rude. I see there are multiple charges on my card and need refund for it. I should get refund for all the reservations the way I was treated. I could have never went there and get humiliated in front of all other customers. He sounded pretty resist too. Worst experience ever. You should discontinue contract with them. Please let me know what should I do to get my refund for duplicate charges and if there anything else for customer courtesy UHaul can give me that would be great.Ankit P.

When I returned the cleaned truck at 6pm, with a full tank or gas and the odometer reading, I found there were no directions as to how to return my truck online. I called all the numbers I could find to get help. No answers. I tried to return online on the app. It said I had â€œno reservationsâ€. The next morning before I had a chance to call I got a bill for over $60. I only went 8 miles over the allotted mileage included. I called the drop off location and while the young man who answered was kind and tried to help, he couldn't so gave me a number of someone who â€œcouldâ€ help and I left a voicemail - got no call back. So I called Eric at the pick up location and he was going to reach out to someone. He even followed up with a call to tell me he hadn't heard back from the management about my dispute. That he hadn't forgotten me. This is not up to Eric, nor the young man at the drop off location. This needs to be handled properly by a manager in billing. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO SOMEONE WHO CAN REFUND ME. I am a long time customer and in the past two years alone I've rented a lot of equipment. I'm happy to pay the overage on mileage but as I'm sure you will agree, I owe nothing else. Please me at 603-349-0010 at your earliest convenience to resolve this issue. Thank you. Excellent job by personnel. Since we are new to the area and had trouble finding a service station to fill up, the Radio Grove Hardware person offered suggestions on local gas stations. By far the worst experience I have ever had with U Haul. I was schedule to pick this up in Portsmouth, NH to arrive and be told its 20 mins north at another location. They said notes in file from U Haul indicated a call and busy signal but no communication of the change to me. I prepaid for TX boxes and mattress covers and other items. They weren't available at the location I pickup the truck. I was told in Portsmouth they would already be on the truck. I can't say how the response in Portsmouth was completely disappointing an unacceptable. On a final note it is impossible to get a busy signal on my cell. It's call voicemail and automatically goes applies when you are on a call.WILLIAM B.

Uhaul changed location on me the day prior to move to this location instead. Was considerably off the path from my destination. It took the employee 45 minutes to find my reservation in the system. As I arrived to pack, I received a message that my vehicle would be locked in their property because employees failed to notify me they lock their lot with a gate until I was already halfway through packing. Had to rush back to the site, move my personal vehicle outside of the gate, then return to pack, complete my move, and drop off the vehicle before getting to work an hour and a half late.Andrew A.
