So the only complaint I have is the over charging. I told the Uhaul person that I was doing a one way trip. Told him where I'd be dropping the truck off, and said I don't take express ways. He gave me 61 miles to complete the trip. When I left I realized there was no wiggle room. So just stopping for food cost me 11miles at a dollar a pop! A little unfair.Wade W.

Tiffany was very nice and helpful. Charged 1,19 per mile when quoted 0,99 per mile. She said it must be because they consider aFriday a weekend day. No problems.david S.

I am very disappointed with my recent rental experience. I arranged this unit months in advance but when I was contacted to pick up the unit I was sent to another location that they said was 7 miles away. It was 22 miles. I was told to be there at 10 am and I was. The u haul person was not. With the help of the car body repair shop that shares the same building they contacted the person who was supposed to be there. I was told that he would be there in an hour. Really? My wife was with me and could not wait that long so I drove all the way back and returned later. The u haul person was there and the trailer was hooked up. But the lighting was not working properly. The u haul person proceeded to remove the tail light assembly off the car to check the wires. I thought that he must be qualified so he proceeded to plug and unplug wires and do his best to check them. Many,many wires were swapped and checked but the lights still did not work. The u haul guy said it was beyond him and he did not even know if it was the trailer at fault. So he told me that the only local u haul that did actual writing was in Lakeland Fl. That's an hour and a half away. But he said that since he suggested that the trailer and the car should both be checked he told me to drive both of them there. It was too late to go there that day so I drove home and called the next morning. When I explained the issue they were suer it was the wires on the car and it probably needed the controller replaced. They did not have one but ordered one and had it overnight shipped and would call to schedule when it came in. Several days later it did. I was told to be at u haul Lakeland at 7 am. That meant I had to leave home at 5:30 am. Let me tell you that driving a trailer with no lights is VERY unnerving! But I arrived safely and the poor young man nearly had a heart attack. He could not believe that the trailer had been released to me in the first place. Not company procedure and totally against the law. But I made it so he unhooked the car to check the wires. Now get ready for it. It took him a grand total of about five to ten minuets to find the problem. Plugs were not plugged in. Yup. That's it. Don't know why it did not work originally but it was checked and working before all the wire changing that happened. But that was all. Five delay days. Wasted time. Wasted gas. Mental distress and sleepless nights for a plug. Not happy. Not happy! Oh, and in all of this I got the phone number for the district manager and called her and left my tail of woe on her voicemail. And guess what? Totally ignored. Another person not doing their job or caring. What a shocker. I can only hope this is seen and that someone will remove their head from theâ€¦â€¦.sand and do something about this. Otherwise the trip went well!Gary L.
