Ride of the truck was EXTREMELY" rough, even when loaded. It was almost as if it. Ended new shocks or had a suspension problem. I had used uhaul a couple of times previously and had no n issues at all. The manager at the Plaza was very helpful as I was unable to complete the online process before arriving for pickup.

This has been one of the most frustrating business experiences of my entire life!!My husband went into this location around 4 pm and spoke to Bob who said that they were closed, but he could help. we were hesitant to just leave the 5x8 enclosed trailer at the location where we had rented it because no one was working there and it could be stolen .Also we were unable to use th Uhaul app to check the trailer in at the Xpress self storage where we picked it up.. Bob told my husband that he would accept the trailer and in the morning, he would re-do the paperwork to reflect us picking up and dropping off the trailer in his location. My husband took him at his word. when we later looked at our receipt it reflected a penalty charge of $312 for dropping the trailer off at wrong location. we of course called Bob who said that he had indeed changed the time on our transaction, but couldn't re-do the paperwork as he previously stated. Furthermore, he said he didn't know Uhaul would add the charge and could not possibly be bothered to help us explain to Uhaul what he had told us the previous day. He directed us to the APP which was not showing any reservations even though Uhaul has emailed a receipt.This man was unable to take accountability for his mistake. when we asked if it would be ok to drop the trailer off to him, he had an ethical obligation to inform us that there would be a very high additional charge. He was not helpful at all to us and has cost us money in the process. We have been misled and overcharged and treated like we are unimportant as customers. I will never use Uhaul again because of this experience.
Lisa DI have been renting moving trucks for a long time. This location was by far the best one I have used. Melinda and her staff were the most helpful with their knowledge of not only the trucks but also with the area. I would recommend to anyone!

Joseph MNo one knew anything about the trailers, trucks or where to park them. Just no one there to know about or gelp clients who are dropping off U-haul stuff. Makes the company look bad. I've used U-haul for 40 years and this was the worst by far for knowledge and help on both sides of the trip.

Person didn't have a clue about the trailer at all. this was just a person who worked at the gas station. I want to rate the uhaul trailer itself. This is a POOR trailer with a poor setup in tongue and no way to lock the trailer to my vehicle. very unsafe trailer and a risk for being stolen.
Joyce GFix the back door! It was very hard to roll up the back door. We had to open it by dragging it to one side or the other to raise it. Very frustrating since we needed to open and close it about six times over the course of the day. If not for the door operation everything was fine at both ends of the trip. Thanks,Bob
Robert BThe employees were not trained at all. We ended up having to call uhaul customer service to find out any information and how to check in our vehicle. The employee wanted us to return the key without our vehicle being checked over or checked in because she didn't know what to do and the person who did wouldn't be in until 3pm, it was 9am at the time of drop off, meaning our uhaul could have been damaged or destroyed in the six hours before it was checked in and we would have been held financially responsible. Our opinion, the locations should train their employees how to take care of the uhaul rental process.
Holly DNo one knew how to sign out the keys to me. I had to wait 30 minutes for someone else to get there. The customer service # wasn't helpful either. They said to download the app to get my 3 digit key code. I did. Never received a key code and waited longer. Checking it back in wasn't successful either. I know i'm due money back based on mileage. Payment is still pending even though i returned it 19 hours ago.

Sandor NI rented a heavy duty trailer. It was easy to use and I am very happy with the equipment. The manager Bob, was extremely helpful. I will definitely use this location again and highly recommend others do the same.
MICHAEL MI'm still waiting on a call to discuss my uhaul rate. I was charged for a cleaning fee that I should now my be charged for what so ever. When I picked up the uhaul it was dirty with crumbs all over the place and smelled like smoke. I took pictures where applicable.
Breanna LWe got there to pick up our truck on a Saturday after receiving our confirmation for pick up location that morning, to find out they don't deal with Uhaul stuff on Saturday's. The front clerk had no idea what she could do for us. She didn't look up our information till we asked her to check to see if there was any way we could get any truck. If there was a truck already assigned to us then she couldn't help us. So my husband asked to talk to her manager and the front clerk said "my manager will just tell you to deal with it". Poorly managed place to pick up Uhaul equipment. Wouldn't ever go there to rent equipment again. She eventually figured it out and we got on our way.
Dontay HChecking out took too long. Reservation system did not allow to add furniture pads only. Only option was to get the dolly too. As a result we were overcharged. No one responded to our billing comments left at check in. Credit card was not charged until one month after the rental date. Online reservation system is nice if you don't need to make any adjustments. Get it right the first time
david eHad to call multiple times and was on hold for hours literally. I had to drive 70 miles round trip in rush hour to pick up the trailer. I was told not more than 10 miles. This was deception. I will not rent from you again experience was a nightmare. Quite frankly uhaul could have done EVERYTHING better.

John HWe did not know our drop off location until our move was finished. Drop off location should be told to customers when they pick up Uhaul truck. One reservation call to reserve Uhaul should be enough. One and done-no changes on Uhaul part. We received several emails/texts/calls.
Lisa BWhen I arrived to drop the trailer off, they had no record that the equipment was to be dropped there. After spending another 30 minutes, the agent looked up the unit number and figured things out. So had issues on both the pick up and drop off locations! Totally disappointed!!

Larry KPlease make sure the equipment requested for rental is available. We were charged $10 for an appliance dolly that was not available. We had to go to another location to rent an appliance dolly for an additional $11.00. So we had to pay a total of $21 to rent an appliance dolly. Not right.

Ben Dcustomer service was poor, they did not perform the check back in when I returned the rental, they just told me to do everything on my smartphone( I do not have a smart phone). I also had to "just park the unit closer to the other units and that would be good". I had to call customer service to get my unit return completed. I have rented U HAUL many times over the last 30 + years, but the Marinette Wisconsin area does not have the best places to rent from.
Stephen FWhen I took the truck it was just a little bit more than 3/4 of gas and I took pictures. The woman by the text said it was more and she going to charge me if I put 3/4. I put a full tank but I am sure it was 3/4. I'm Not satisfied. I order a dolly and they don't include it and I had to do everything by hand. That was not fun at all. The pick up area was slippery with ice and no slip not added. I almost fall.

Chris MFirst, several emails supposed to contain my contract arrived in four parts, none of which could be displayed/printed or even intelligible. Second, the clerk was unaccustomed to renting, apparently new, and had to call on the manager many times to help. Third, The truck was snow covered and almost stuck in the unplowed snow sitting on the lot.
Ronald AHad to hitch up the trailer myself and there were drifts of snow about 1,5 feet deep to get to the trailer. Trailer fenders were covered with snow and did not see any damage to the fender when I picked it up. I found out later that the right rear trailer light was not working because a wire was broken. People there were cordial but didn't like that no one offered to help hitch it up.

dave tWe went on a Saturday so we didn't have a representative available. Had a little issue doing it on my phone. But, once I called costumer service the problem was solved. Other then that no other issues.
Michele SI was charged twice for one uhaul rental because I made my reservation online....something I now have to call and have fixed which I dont have time for. I put my card information in the system when I made the ONLINE reservation and then she put it in again when I was there. I used the online system and checked in early to cut my wait time in half and still waited 30 minutes for the person to wait on me. When I was done with the uhaul...3 and a half hours early I might add, I went in to say I was returning it and was asked if I did it online to which i replied yes and was told no further action was needed only to find out the next day when I got a phone call that nobody knew I had returned it. I also tried to go to this location last weekend to rent a trailer again to find out I couldnt because there was nobody trained to rent one to me. This location needs some serious coaching and re-training and more staff trained than just one person.
