Console was stained w coffee soda etc. Not vaccumed. Catalytic muffler shield was loose and truck did not shift properly. When i returned it at 8pm the place had close. Spent 20 minutes trying to access your web site and couldnt get in. THEN YOU BILLED ME AN ADDITIONAL 20.00. NOT RIGHT. 20.00 SHOIULD AT LEAST BE REFUNDED. The truck I rented required constant steering correction to keep it going straight. I suspect an alignment/tire issue. Fortunately, I wasn't going far. Had I been on a day long interstate trip, it would have been a handful keeping the truck in my own lane. There was a gooey mess left in the cupholder left from a previous person, so I didn't have anywhere to put a water bottle. I realize this is a rental and used by many different people, but you as a dealer should take the time to make sure spills are cleaned up and the truck drives as it should. My other issue is with UHaul's reservation process. It seems to automatically check off boxes for items you never asked for. So you need to pay close attention during check out so that you don't get over charged for items you didn't ask for to begin with. I think it's a bit deceptive...

This was the first U-Haul we had ever rented. It was a nightmare! When picking up the truck, they had charged us double for everything because the employee had given us a different truck than he was supposed to as he lost keys to the first one. We also were there at 1:59 pm instead of 2:00 pm so they wanted to charge us for two (2) days instead of the requested one day. It took at least 25 min to get things straightened out and a new contract printed out. Upon returning the truck the next day at 1:30 pm, again another fiasco took place. They were going to charge us for two (2) trucks as the paperwork was still messed up apparently, It took 40 min to get everything finally straightened out. As far as the actual truck, it ran fine and was a perfect size for our needs at 15'. BUT we should never have had to go through what we did. It was just a bad experience for a first time rental.

Update your on line website . New drop places that are available. Also truck sizes are different that real life,.ie 14' is a 15'. There's no 12' teuck, just 10', 15', 29'.

I reserved a truck at uhaul Albany port location for convenience but had to pick up way up on western ave. I think uhaul should be responsible for getting trucks to agreed upon location.
