Charles H.The truck I rented was filthy inside and had a heavy, horrible smell of marijuana. The change oil and fill washer fluid lights were on. It's obvious no one cares about the condition of the truck. When people need to rent something, it is almost always time sensitive with almost no opportunity to pick and chose. It's not unreasonable to get a rental in decent condition. This site doesn't seem invested in this.
patrice R.The original place we reserved a UHaul on Fuller Road in Albany called 2 days before to cancel our reservation. This is unacceptable. We had to rush to find another rental and had to go with a smaller one because that was all that was available.
Michelle S.The van was not recently cleaned (either inside or out) and needed body work. I went only 25 miles so it wasn't that big of an issue. If I knew I going considerably more miles, I never would have gone through with the rental.

He never advised me I needed to check the vehicle in on the mobile site after dropping the vehicle off so I was charged for a late drop off. Overall, I am very disappointed with the service as I dropped the vehicle off before the specified time.

Kenneth M.No explanation or any during pick-up, just asked for driver license. All documents/receipts were sent thru email or text message that I wasn't aware of until I checked my email. An interesting experience, not use to this treatment. At usual U-Haul center, everything was explained and signed, so I know what I am dealing with. The van is so dirty and dusty inside. Once again, the first interesting experience from many times I do business with U-Haul.

LILI K.There is no warning or heads up you have to take pictures of the inside/outside of the rental vehicle before pick up and after drop off. My friend dropped me off so I parked the van, threw the key in the box and left. Then I logged in to say I returned it and I had to supply pictures of inside the vehicle. I dropped the van off before my end time and was charged late fees because I didn't complete that info.

Charles M.I selected mobile share pickup and return (should allow pickup and return outside business hours through online process) but this didn't work. So manual process was needed which of course was much less convenient. Somewhere in the Uhaul system the ball was dropped. Also the truck was very dirty and with damage that I needed to document by taking and submitting pictures. Return took much longer than needed with poor customer service during this process.

david W.I was confused about the rental of furniture pads. Somehow I came to believe that I was purchasing a package of six for $10. It turns out I was renting the furniture pads which created confusion when I dropped off the truck and pads in Rochester. The good news: you and your people decided to waive the $10 fee altogether. This is a very fair and smart decision.

No matter how pleasant the staff is at a location I am still your "employee" for more time than I would like. Might be a good business model but sucks for the customer.
