It was said the gas was at 5/8 but when I picked up it was a little less that 1/2. I filled the gas back up to half tank and when I returned it they said I didn't put enough gas in it. Take a picture of where the gas is because I had to pay and extra $63 for the gas when it was not correct. Other than that my experience was very good.

shaun cRocky's Gym needs more equipment. I need vans on my weekly rentals but I've only been able to get trucks. Rockys needs more vans. I actually have a call into the local sales rep to discuss this matter because if I can't get vans then I'm going to have to go to Ryder or Budget. I', not interested in going to another location. Rockys is the best location for me logistically

frederick dRocky is the man! This is an easy to deal with small U-Haul location in Rocky's East Falmouth gym that saves the trip to Hyannis. The Hyannis U-Haul location wouldn't answer multiple phone calls. Rocky took care of us like we were family. The 15' foot truck drove great for our 4200 mile trip to Arizona. We're team Rocky all the way!

mark oThe pickup by phone is a very bad experience. Photos don't upload or refresh and I waisted a lot of time during pickup and drop off to get it completed. Probably more time waisted than standing in a row and driving a bit further to get full service. I will not do it this way again.

John SWhen I filled out the request for to use the Box Truck the process was relatively straight forward. I actually contacted the location in a day in advance and Brian the manager at Rocky's indicated the reservation was in place. When I arrived at the location for pickup at 8:00 AM Brian askes, do I have the lock box number and code for the lockbox? I indicated that I never received that information and showed Brian all the correspondence. He then contacted U-Haul and they released the truck. Brian was very helpful, thank you.
MICHAEL LI'm a little concerned that it cost almost 200 dollars to rent a DC for a few hours. I hope to see a credit to my account for either 100 or 80 dollars as it appears I was charged twice, once for 100+ and a second time for 80+.

tamara aI had 2 issues this time. First the pickup location was changed when I arrived to get the truck. I drove the truck 13 miles and put a little over 2 gallons before I returned it. The first charge was for $26 for fuel charge until I questioned it. The second charge was $12 for 3 gallons?

Glens CFor what it's worth: I make a strong recommendation that the hours of operation at this location get updated on the website to reflect that the franchise owner doesn't actually get to work before 0900 - the two days I was there at 0800 to pick up and then drop off the rental truck I had to deal with kids working at the gym who didn't have training or knowledge of the entire process of renting a vehicle . As a result, I would not recommend doing business with these people. For other details, read below. I needed a pickup truck to move some equipment for a project at work. The U-Haul location in Pocasset MA - about 2 miles from home, didn't have one available. The location in East Falmouth MA is 13 miles from home and said it had one and that it was open at 0800 on Monday, 31 Oct. When I arrived at 0800, the kid working at the gym said the owner of the U-Haul franchise usually shows up at 0900, not 0800. He got the owner "Rocky" on the phone after I had been there about 10 minutes. I eventually got the deal done over the phone and Rocky said he'd send me the contract via email when he got to work. Good enough. I get home with the truck and noted that the bed of the truck had a small accumulation of laminated particle board furniture chunks, foam, staples, screws, mud and other crap from the previous rental. The cab likewise had some dried mud on the floor. I swept the bed out. Just after I had completed that, the contract arrived via email. It had the opportunity to go through the check list, take photos of fuel level, mileage, condition of the truck etc. Did all that. Loaded the truck and delivered the equipment to work project site a few miles away. Put $12 worth of gas into the truck, put a total of about 40 miles on it by the time I brought it back - 26 miles of that was just getting it to and from the location. When I went to return the truck on 1 Nov at 0800 the kid - Steven - working at the gym said the owner was not going to be in before 0900 and that he didn't know anything about the U-Haul franchise business. He got Rocky on the phone - we finalized the transaction as much as we could that way and the final bill was sent via email at 1137 AM. I will specifically not plan to rent a vehicle from this location again as a result of having to do the transaction over the phone with Rocky unless the website is updated to show the actual hours of operation.
C EParking the return was difficult because it is a location that is not staffed. The other trucks were not parked within the parking spaces and the area is relatively small in size. The owner of the property was very helpful in the past, about two months ago, due to the fact that the wrong keys were placed in the lockbox. He had one of his employees from the business on the property open the other boxes for me to obtain the correct keys. Thank you Rocky!

gwen sThe rep told me where to drop off the trailer then disappeared. Nobody knew where he went and nobody could acknowledge that I returned the trailer or give me a receipt. I left all me information with a receptionist at the gym. Later the rep called me and told me I was all set. Yesterday I started receiving email and texts stating that I had not returned the trailer. Finally I went by the gym and the trailer was still there. Took pics and sent to the rep to take care. He's a friendly nice guy but I wish I didn't have that hassle.
kevin fI don't understand why I was charged $20 for an "after hours" drop off when I dropped it off while the facility was open. I plan on contacting the location to understand why this fee was charged, I did not see this in the original contract signed when picking up the trailer.
