U-Haul listed furniture pads as available for this location, even though the location does not provide them to customers. I added them to my order, and did not know they would not be provided until the night before my move. The location employee was understanding and helpful, but U-Haul website should be updated immediately to resolve this. The location was incredible, but U-haul site not so much...Kaitlyn M.

Van Gas line had been cut by vandals causing gas to pour out when I filled the van. Parking location was not clean nor very safe. Staff were friendly and professional, I got the move done but having gas pour out from the bottom of the van and then having to drive it could hav been very unsafe.Stuart L.

It was scary, being a women, to drop off at night. I was also difficult navigating through the homeless tents.Lea W.
The location and staff was excellent. The app however has serious problems and needs to be fixed. I had to use my boyfriend's phone bc the app just froze repeatedly when trying to take pics of the odometer. There's also no help option in the app, which I needed because the app was supposed to give me a code for the locks to return the key and didnt. Instead, I had to hunt down the number for uhaul help and then spend 25 minutes on the phone until the code could be retreived. The app needs fixing ASAP. The staff at this location is well above bar, as they called me directly to apologize for the poor experience even though it wasnt their fault.Jennifer L.
The windows on my 10' truck were very dirty and it made it difficult to see out of the vehicle. The outside of the truck had a moderate amount of dirt, but the inside of the windows were likely worse.Seth B.

The battery died while I was stopped to get gas on my way to return the van. When I called to report this, they said they'd call roadside support for me, but I never heard back from them. I was given a discount for my trouble, which I appreciate, but check your batteries before sending vans out!!Tracy Z.

Completely dissatisfied with wait time for the 1800 number and online chat. Had difficulties with pickup verification so logged on the chat and called the 1800 number. Was on hold for 27 mins before speaking to an agent and never got a response after six messages sent on the chat. Time is of essence on a moving day and this slow service and unreasonable wait times were very disappointing.Lindsay A.

We checking out the vehicle I was told the gas tank was â€œfullâ€ and to return it â€œfullâ€ While it was close to full, it was not full. I returned the vehicle full but thought it was odd.David M.

The staff at rose city were extremely kind and helpful. Unfortunately, my truck, which I drove approximately 6 miles total, would not restart after I unloaded it, and I had to wait 90 minutes for someone to come jump start it. According to the gentleman who jump started he truck for me, it is common for the batteries to die just because of the light in the back that turns on automatically when the truck back is open, with no way to turn it off manually. It seems like uhaul could invest in stronger/newer batteries if the ones they are using die when renters are using the truck exactly as intended. Or at least recommend to renters to restart the truck periodically to recharge the battery. This simple bit of info would have saved me 2 hours of trouble on a rainy moving day.SAMANTHA M.

I have seen a lot of negative reviews of this place and judging by the 2 times I've used this place it's not their fault. The problem is the uhaul online truck share option. The first time I used this place I opted for that an it was a huge pain in the ass. I was unable to pick up a truck with truck share so I walked the short distance to the office and they were so nice and helpful and had it all sorted out very quickly, it's why I returned there this second time. Great customer service in store, the online truck share option needs to be thrown in the trash.jen J.

I rented a truck at the location to be picked up at 3:30 pm then got called 3 times at noon that I was late for my truck. Then I showed up at 3:20 and they said my truck was at a location 2 1/2 miles away at a different location. Luckily the person working at the rose location was able to get me a truck but I had to return it by 8 the next morning?? I had errands to run in the morning that I couldn't, because of headquarters mess up then had to rent a car to go because of the mess up. In the end,it ended up costing me twice as much. Unpleasant for me,but luckily the worker at the rose location helped me emensly! I would have been really in a pickle if that didn't happen. In short, I guess this happens a lot through headquarters. It frustrated him and me. I had to rent from a different company in the morning. Again costing me 2Ã- the money. I hope you can make changes to not have this happen again to me and the guy working at the rose location. If you care about your employees and costumers. Thank you for the service you provide.Joe V.

It wasn't so much my experience with Rose City that was terrible, but my experience with the UHaul website. Several failed login attempts and several emailed/texted codes and I was still unable to access my account to complete the Truck Share 24/7 reservation which ended up knocking a half hour off my reservation time, leaving me in a total bind. You guys should really figure out your website and/or an app or kiosk or some way to streamline this process for your customers. As is, it isn't â€˜consumer-friendly' for anyone.Monicia W.
